After contacting Tide through the website, David called me and began to argue that 100% silk Tommy Bahama shirts not only did NOT need to be dry cleaned, but he could stretch them back into shape. Wow, it is amazing to me that I had to "continually argue with a laundry expert" that 100% silk needed to be dry cleaned. I did not even attempt to argue with the stretching back into shape idiotic claim. I suggest you stay away from "expertise" like this! I for one will never use Tide again!!!

Their seamstress Natasha was also able to take a little length off of my husband's slacks with a rush fee and she did a great job. I have had multiple pairs of jeans, just like the ones that I took in, hemmed with original hems with absolutely no problems whatsoever. I would have much rather she told me that she just didn't want to do it, or didn't have the time, than to insult my intelligence by telling me all the reasons it couldn't be done. One time I took new clothes I recently had purchased from a department store because there was a slight mildew odor. I did not notice the odor when I purchased them, only after I arrived home and removed the tags. The dry cleaner deodorize the clothes so there was no smell at all. I was so happy and amazed it got the odor out without ruining the clothes. I have also had my clothing altered with very good results. I will continue to use this dry cleaner, I have trust in them and the quality of the workmanship is very good. Nice people work there too, which means a lot to me.
