It is unfortunately not too close to home, but it is fortunately right on my way to and from other stuff I do. I brought some friends here after a white water rafting trip because we felt we'd earned ourselves a little treat. My one friend built her own sundae, my other friend got the cookie butter sundae, and I got the special red, white, and blue butter cake sundae. Actually, one of the workers got it for me - I was between two, couldn't decide, and asked her to surprise me. All of us agreed on how delicious everything was! Every time I've come here I've been impressed with the portion sizes as well! Feels like a steal!! It was raining so we had to eat our sundaes in the car, but they have plenty of seating and some cute gazebos. If it had been nicer, we'd have loved to sit outside and enjoy. Next time! Lala's has a huge fan in me, and I can't wait until I have to drive by again and get some more!
