The food and service is absolutely amazing. They are extremely great! The barbecue shoulder plate and sandwich are my all time favorites. My family and I decided to try this place on August 24, 2024. Luckily for me there wasn't a lot of people inside the building, so it was easy to ordered our foods. When we sat down in our seats I looked around the restaurant. The first thing I thought about was the seats we was sitting in. They looked a little outdated and probably need to be replaced. The table we have was a little wobbly and next to me was a sticking pad which had a lot of flies in them. When the food came out and when I started eating I forgot all about the issues with the seats and table. I decided to get the Loaded Philly Steak Potato and baked beans. The baked beans was pretty good probably needed something extra to make it outstanding. The Philly Steak Potato were just delicious. It simply steaks, peppers, and cheese but everything blended together well with the potato. I also have some of my grandparents fries and they were hot and delicious. Big fan of the fried chicken salad. It's full of vegetables (including olives, which I don't like) and even has boiled eggs (a novelty not seen often in salads these days). Love their food. The food is STELLAR. It quickly became the restaurant that my coworkers and I go to for lunch every day. BUT their customer service is LACK LUSTER. The man who takes the orders on the phone will hang up on you without confirming he got your order. THEN won't even tell you how long your order will take. I tried to call back twice to confirm when I can pick up my order, and I got hung up on BOTH TIMES. I want to support this company, but they need to change who is operating the phones. The place was quite clean and the folks working were nice and efficient. I just had a fried tender salad but it was fresh and the tenders were cooked to order. Not homemade dressings but I would get the salad again. Mixed the blue cheese with some bbq sauce. The sauce was a tangy sauce as others have noted. The food is not worth the cost. The prices are ridiculous high and the food isn't worth the price. The meat is unseasoned, sauce is awful shouldn't be called bbq sauce, and the bake beans are indescribable. I'm not sure about the other reviews or how accurate they are, but times have truly changed. I can say that it appeared clean in the area you place your order in and the workers were friendly. The service is fast and friendly. There is plenty of seating. I usually order online and pick up for lunch or dinner. Folks in Memphis are very opinionated about their BBQ. I haven't found any BBQ that I didn't like, after living here a few years. I like their salads and pulled pork sandwiches.
