My shoe separated top flap from bottom flap in the airport as we were flying out on vacation. On our second stop of our 4-stop vacation we found this shop through Yelp and very pleased that we did. Yelp is such an invaluable resource! The repair was done in an excellent fashion. Very pleased! The owner was very pleasant to deal with. I just hope everyone can see what a service this shop is to the community. The skills and breadth of experience with repairs they bring are nearly impossible to find. This shop is a gem!

I took it in to be tailored as it was a bit over sized. When told that wasn't something he wanted to tackle.. I asked to have a zipper installed as I am a disabled vet and had problems with the original snaps... long story short he removed my snaps (The zipper was behind so no need) installed fake "Rivets" and didn't even seat/secure them with a tool..just pushed them in "Plugged" the hole with them. Well I lost two of them the first night I wore it. I found them on the floor. I ordered a tool to see if I could seat them, but I bought cheap wrong dies that wouldn't work. The second night worn, the zipper tore loose from the hand stitch. All in all this was beyond a shoddy rushed job that I waited over a month for. I paid $200 for the coat and $150 for this "Work". I didn't take it back and complain, I figured this is the work they do and didn't want to wait weeks again to wear a football jacket when the season is about over. I know how to sew (Thanks grandma) so I will take the $150 loss and just do all the work all over myself. So maybe I got a bad day job, I don't know...but I am throwing this out there to all. If it happened to me with my prize item..I would think hard about giving them your item. I am adding pictures of rivet heads, holes in jacket and zipper and stitching.

Not only do they do the best job I have ever seen in altering clothes down, they do a tremendous job with blue jeans and the "New York" hem. Turn around time is about a week, though they will rush something if you need it. I have had jeans done, pants hemmed, a formal dress shortened and straps tacked, and skirts taken in. This said, It was VERY easy to go in and spend $80.00. I guess you really have to pay for the quality, but you most certainly have peace of mind about how your garments will turnout.

I should've walked out afterwards when she asked me to point to how far I wanted them hemmed.... Not that there was a measuring tape sitting on the table behind her (there was). I showed her how I would typically roll them in and she said she'd make it work. After two weeks I came to pick up my pants only to put them on this morning and be 99.99% certain that they're the same length as they were when I dropped them off. Also could not reprint a receipt for me after I initially said no and changed my mind after literally half a second. As someone who worked as a cashier for 5 years before, I've never encountered a system that doesn't let you reprint a receipt. They're lazy, not worried about their customers, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Go to any of the 10 other tailor shops in Greenville, because I wish I would've.

The best you get in there is choppy English and when I phoned in my friend who is fluent in Spanish the main lady was very rude and said "no have here speak english" pointing to some lady sitting in a chair. When we went back to see why and if it could be fixed she immediately blamed my daughter for the mistake saying she told her this would happen. She said a lot of stuff and then my friend translated back to me and none of it was "sorry for the confusion lets see what we can do" It was all "I told her it would ruin the dress"...etc and she did NOT tell her, my wife was there during the conversation the part they understood. She said there were two ways to do it one would cost xyz the other would cost xyz. Never did she say it would change the dress completely! DON'T waste your time in here. We took the dress to Lee's Tailors at Haywood Mall and the lady there is SUPER sweet and empathetic to the situation. She explained why the flow changed and that we should have had that explained to us before the work was being done. She made it seem like they could fix it and that they would put a rush on it because my daughters prom is Friday at a very fair price. In other words excellent customer service. We have two more daughters with future proms and the new place will get all of our business.

My dress needed to taken in, bustle, and hemmed...so quote a bit of work. My dress was altered quickly, professionally and I was impressed by the attention to detail. My bustle was very complicated because my dress had multiple uneven layers. I wasn't even sure if it could bustled but she managed to do and make it look fantastic. Best of all, I was expected to pay triple what I was charged. One of my bridesmaids paid about the same as I did to have her dress taken in some place else.
