I took it in to be tailored as it was a bit over sized. When told that wasn't something he wanted to tackle.. I asked to have a zipper installed as I am a disabled vet and had problems with the original snaps... long story short he removed my snaps (The zipper was behind so no need) installed fake "Rivets" and didn't even seat/secure them with a tool..just pushed them in "Plugged" the hole with them. Well I lost two of them the first night I wore it. I found them on the floor. I ordered a tool to see if I could seat them, but I bought cheap wrong dies that wouldn't work. The second night worn, the zipper tore loose from the hand stitch. All in all this was beyond a shoddy rushed job that I waited over a month for. I paid $200 for the coat and $150 for this "Work". I didn't take it back and complain, I figured this is the work they do and didn't want to wait weeks again to wear a football jacket when the season is about over. I know how to sew (Thanks grandma) so I will take the $150 loss and just do all the work all over myself. So maybe I got a bad day job, I don't know...but I am throwing this out there to all. If it happened to me with my prize item..I would think hard about giving them your item. I am adding pictures of rivet heads, holes in jacket and zipper and stitching.

The first place cut off the "horsehair braid" from the bottom of the dress to shorten it and it made the dreas look COMPLETELY different it akmost looked pleated. The other place said they couldn't fix it so we took here to Lee's Tailors and they fixed it which made my daughter so happy and relieved which made me happy and relieved lol. We have two more future prom girls and will definitely be bringing their dresses, as well as any other tailor work, to Lee's without question!

She explained why the flow changed and that we should have had that explained to us before the work was being done. She made it seem like they could fix it and that they would put a rush on it because my daughters prom is Friday at a very fair price. In other words excellent customer service. We have two more daughters with future proms and the new place will get all of our business.

When she put the dress on last night for me, one of the straps that they had shortened was not the right length. Someone helped her put the dress on THREE times the morning she picked up and no one thought it was important to adjust it. The stitching on the lining and pads looked like novice work. After the wedding, I'll post pictures. The hustle loops are loops of elastic thread. thankfully it was only $25 for those three loops and buttons. There is no pricing transparency so we were surprised by what we paid. The owner told me that she would give pricing estimates from now on. I'd encourage you to ask and get it in writing. Disappointed.

Came here with my son looking at a possible tuxedo rental for prom or to buy a suit or…read morealternatives. Checked in on Yelp and wouldn't you know it we got a $20 off instant offer. Tuxedo rentals are insane. There is an obvious "upsale" from the basics plus all the "add-on" items like vest, shoes, cummerbund, etc. And the bottom price was about $190 or so....for one evening. Alternately, we found a sale on a nice suit that had a combination special with a shirt and tie for an inclusive $199 all total. The only catch was a $25-30 alteration charge, so I was glad to have the Yelp discount offer. We went with the suit. If he wears it twice, all the better, plus the tuxedo they can make it "kind of fit" but the suit can be altered to "exact fit." We had good service on both the tuxedo rental side and the suit purchase side, but they are separate so you are not necessarily working with the same person if you move one to another. The tuxedo rental business during prom season is crazy. That side is packed. We had to wait for 2 or 2.5 weeks on the alteration for the suit, but it was on time. When we picked it up, there must have been 3 dozen tuxedos ready for pick up and a huge crowd milling about in the tuxedo rental area. Lesson one - check Yelp for discounts Lesson two - go early, don't go later Lesson three - if you are going to use the outfit even for two occasions, purchase it, don't rent it.
