We came here from out of town 2 nights in a row because of how much we loved it! I can't have beer and it's so rare to find a place that specializes in hard cider and also does it so well! We enjoyed every flavor we tried (which was pretty much all of them), and we were so pleased we could bring our dog since he came with us too. For a young cidery, they have some amazing brews. If you enjoy a hard cider, this is a perfect stop. Ample seating with friendly staff. A great little roadside stop if you find yourself going through Ellijay. We've stopped here a few times now and have gotten a different cider flight every time. My favorite flavor is definitely the tango (strawberry and habanero), but I haven't found a bad one yet. There's always live music and plenty of places to sit in their cute outdoor space. My only complaint is the food situation. Every time we have been there's only been one food truck there and when it's really crowded it tends to take a while. If you're planning on going on a crowded weekend I would suggest maybe eating elsewhere before you go or just be prepared for a wait. read more

Cider is bangin'. Ellijay Apple is a perfect not to sweet cider. Apple Pie is a beautifully spiced semi-sweet and the frostbite is nice if you want some additional fruit flavors with the blackberry. Get buck wild. Have someone else drive. read more

We were not able to sit down bc our kids were tired but we did grab some cider to go. I let my husband know I prefer dry cider. He took note & asked the staff what they recommended. He came back to the truck with their original apple cider, reserve version. I guess they aged it in a bourbon barrel! It definitely has a unique taste & is absolutely delicious. Rude people working! We came when they were busy and boy did they let us know that. First time here and will never be back. The man behind the counter was extremely rude and assumed I would like sweet cider, I guess because I'm a woman and said "It tastes like grape juice, something my 5 year old son would like". Well I usually drink cabernet sauvignon so I'm not used to super sweet drinks. My friend who has been here the past few years told me they do one free sample of cider so I thought I could try some. When I asked, he sighed and had an attitude and said "I'm not even supposed to do this and we have a line". Im sorry, I've never been here and didn't know. You could've politely let me know that's not something you offer. You'd think a family business in the south may care about customer service but obviously not. The loft area has a big sign posted at the bottom of the stairs but sure enough some rude entitled parents had to bring their rambunctious toddler up there where she ran and jumped around disturbing all of the adults sitting up there and almost jumped off the balcony! On the way from my MIL's house to my mom's house we passed Reeces and I had to stop in to give it a try. Awesome spot with indoor/outdoor areas to sit. Fairly new so the staff was very good at answering all questions about their selections and making recommendations. Great stop in our way back from hiking . Adults enjoyed the cider while kids got Shirley Temples. Place was pretty empty, but we were there early afternoon.
