The prices are great here and the establishment features indoor and outdoor seating, including a rooftop area with beautiful views! You can also find little games littered around the building. Ellijay is just a beautiful town full of apple orchards. We stopped at Reeces Cider after watching a video on YouTube. It is dog friendly, very welcoming and has some food trucks. First we went to the cider bar and got two delicious slushies, mine Apple and David's blueberry apple. Then David bought some walnuts that were sugar and vanilla coated. He then got a cuirywurst plate for himself that had currywurst, German potato salad, sauerkraut and a pretzel roll.! There was also a truck with British pies. We love going to Reece's Cider Barn. We live in Dahlonega, been here for 25 yearsWe took the whole family, even our granddaughter who is 4 years old. There is a family friendly, open atmosphere with a beautiful fireplace and lots of corn hole. Outdoor seating or indoor seating is available. The last time we were there, a food truck supplied delicious warm appetizers or sandwiches. I recommend a "flight" of cider cause it's all good! After a day at the Apple Festival 15 minutes down the road, and apple picking at BJ Reece Orchards across the street, my friends, my fiancé, and I decided to come in and enjoy some ciders before hitting the road back home. It feels like a fun and wholesome place, with games like corn hole outside. Service was welcoming, friendly, and kind! They made conversation with us instead of just pushing us through, which was refreshing. My friend and her husband ordered a cider flight to share, as did my fiancé and I. Our Cider flight was: Ellijay Apple, Wild Blue, Pumpkin Spice, and Pink Lady. My favorite was probably the Ellijay Apple, which tasted classic. My fiancé loved the Wild Blue. The blueberry flavor really shined through. There were a couple good trucks on site, so my fiancé got us a few treats to share: a pretzel with cheese dip, French fries, and fried mushrooms. We loved the cider here! It was a great stop. My only complaint was that I think $16 is a bit expensive for four cider sample samples. My favorite was the black beard cider, which is a cider that is aged in Jamaican rum barrels. My husband's favorite was the Ole red cider, why is an apple and cherry cider. We were looking for cider places in the area while on vacation. This was recommended as one of the top places to go for cider. When we pulled up, we were amazed by how nice and big the place was. The orchards and market are across the street. There is plenty of parking, seating, and games to play. I knew I wanted a flight, and they have a large amount of ciders to choose from. I had the woman working the front tell me about some of the ciders, then chose the original, the apple pie, the caramel apple, and the Reece's reserve. My favorites were the apple pie and the caramel apple, and I ended up buying a pack of the apple pie ciders to take home with us. I also bought a new sweatshirt that they had come out with. We sat outside and enjoyed our ciders and ended up ordering another round of ciders. We had fun and relaxed. We drove past on another day and they were packed with food trucks out front. We followed the crowd and ended up parking on the opposite side of the farm but I appreciated the sheriff guiding traffic to allow us to cross over. We purchased some cider in the half gallon to take home in addition to the donuts. The donuts were okay. The main attraction was picking fresh apples off the tree. The Rome Beauty were available and we purchased a bag to fill in the apples we picked. We were curious about a September Wonder variety of apple but it wasn't available for picking. I stopped here on a recent weekend trip with my sister. The place was very cool to hang out in- plenty of spaces to it though out the facilities and they even had an outdoor event space and patio. Giant games being played on the patio included connect four and ring and hook toss. As for the drinks, they were mostly all a hit! I found their flavored versions to be the best. That seasonal caramel apple!! The only one down side to this place is that you cannot choose your own flights on the weekend but pick from a preset menu. While all the Cider's are delicious, we really enjoyed the Caramel Apple. Let me start by saying I don't like or really prefer cider. Though many in my family do. So why five stars!? First the place is cool, the outside especially is nice. Kids can run around, there is a fire pit, corn hole, ring toss, connect four and ample seating. Since my last visit (about 9 months ago) they added seating in the up stairs area inside. The service, has been wonderful on each of my visits. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Remember I don't like cider much, but they were able to point me to their "driest" option and I enjoyed it. The best was one conditioned in bourbon barrels. In my opinion the 2022 version is better than the 2023 version that had honey added (too sweet for me). They also have some local beers available in cans. I gravitate towards those and appreciate they have as an option. For someone not a fan of ciders, I will always have a least one from here and they would be the place that could convince me to give ciders more of a chance. read more

This cider bar was directly across from the Apple picking fields. I really enjoyed the flight of ciders. We got to try out four of them and I really enjoyed the Georgia peach one. So I got another cup for myself. The staff was really nice and offered recommendations, including telling us one of the most popular ones. Getting a flight is the same price as getting two full cups so if you're not sure which one you want, I would probably get a flight. The environment was really cool. They have outdoor games and the outdoor seating area is really comfortable. We went during a weekday so it was mostly families and couples and not too crowded. I can imagine on weekends this place would be a great environment to watch football or just hang out all day. If it was closer to Atlanta, I would probably go more often but we had a good time while we were there. read more

Today was the voodoo daddy Seafood. I was very impressed with their selection of ciders since I was not aware that this was even out here. When I walked in, I was very excited because I don't drink beer and this is the kind of brewery I can actually enjoy! I found a happy place. I am definitely a fan I will be returning. 1 suggestion is that they could benefit from having ice on site. It was 95+ and the samples I bought got warm before I could drink them all, as it would have been nice if I was able to put some ice in the glass.
