They wanted to charge me for them to look at it, maybe catch why it worked when I drove it to them, but did not when I picked it up. Horrible all the way around... EXPECT TO WAIT! I arrived at 8am on Saturday expecting to get in and out so I could carry on with my busy day. There was already a line but I decided to wait. At 20 after 8am a guy saunters out to let the line know their 'winter hours' are 8:30-4'. What? The reason I expected them to be open at 8am is BECAUSE I CALLED THE DAY BEFORE AND WAS TOLD THEY OPEN 8-4 ON SATURDAY. I also googled them and the hours are posed in the photo below. When I told the guy these two discrepancies, he simply stated that the hours were posted on the sign at the front of the line. No apology, Nothing. (by the way, if you are a business owner, it is YOUR responsibility to make sure your online info is current, especially on the largest search engine out there! That is business 101)) EXPECT A CRAPPY JOB! I paid for the 'ultimate' inside and out job. The photos below show that they didn't even bother to wipe the seats or the cupholder, left the mats with dirt on them, and only a 1/2 a$$ed swipe with the armor all. EXPECT MORE WAITING! I watched the few people they had working take their sweet time.... sipping coffee... eating their breakfast... standing around jabbering. Then just when I thought they were done, a guy pulls my truck up to another spot at the front, where apparently the GUY WHO TAKES THE MONEY is expected to finish the inside cleaning job IN BETWEEN helping the other customers in line! I used to LOVE this place.. now I need a new location. Totally upgraded the system to a SHELL gas station car wash for 26$ in/out. They don't prewash the outside anymore, you drive it through now, after the pre wash I got out for the interior but I was parked on top of a mud puddle and they opened at 9.. it's 11:02am.. Sure the upgrade saves the guys labor but lacking on customer service. My car is done now and they even left their blue hand rag, is this so I can finish the job. Hmmm read more

Just had my window cracked about a foot long down the center of the front windshield while my car was being washed. I asked to speak with someone about it as there was no crack prior to having my car washed. I was told the boss would come to speak to me. No one showed? I went to the office where I was greeted with an amazing amount of indifference. Thanks for offering to review the surveillance videos when you can get around to it. Thanks for not vacuuming the center console as promised. Thanks for the car looking like it was half heartedly cleaned inside and out. Thanks for being a pro's pro Greg. I've been in customer facing service and sales for 30 years. It takes a lot of effort to fail in so many ways. Most poorly run businesses get part of the job right, even if by accident. I called before I came to get my car washed. The front desk lady was so sweet and helpful, and guided me to use the car wash - and went into detail of what the wash entails. She even peeked her head outside of the office to tell me if there was a long line. When I arrived, I had a bit of anxiety because I had no idea what I was doing. But the employees were so kind and reassuring and did a fantastic job. I will definitely go here from now on for my car wash needs! read more

Do NOT go here to get your windows tinted. I went to go pick up my car and I could instantly tell that the tint job was not done with care. There were razor blade marks on one window where they cut too deep and ruined it. There were also scratches, dirt and creases where the film was bent. I simply think that whoever installed the tint was unexperienced and didn't care if it looked good or not. They ended up replacing my window where the razor cut too deep. When they went to install the new window, a piece of my door panel fell off...they couldn't figure out how to put it back on and ended up ordering a new panel. Thankfully Luis was honest. I had all the tint removed except the very back window because they said there was a chance they could ruin the defroster. All of this was done over a 2-3 week span. I took my car to a different tint place in Santa Rosa where they evaluated the tint job and told me everything that was wrong and everything that was right. Santa Rosa Window Tint charges $200 where Redwood Tree charged $280. Bobbie in SR has a lot of experience; he is the one who will be removing the tint on my very back window and re-tinting my windows. HOLY CRAP. I shoulda left my car how it was. LIFE. read more

First time I paid someone to wash/clean my car and was sooo excited to treat myself after a rough few months. So based on recommendations from friends on Facebook I schlepped over the hill to check it out and shop. No kids or animals use my car and I even took everything out to insure it would be easy for them to do a good job; well, that didn't work out for me at all. The car ahead of me (a fancy newer SUV) had 4 guys scrubbing and tossing trash out for over a half and hour. When my car pulled up I saw one guy give it a few half-hearted swipes for 5 minutes, and then he pulled it forward and honked. Oh, I thought, must have missed the action when I walked around the lot admiring the Redwood Tree. i was so thrilled to be getting into my clean, shiny car, I even gave him a $5 tip (Next time look inside FIRST dummy!) and my heart sank when I got in and saw the dashboard was still dusty and they hadn't even vacuumed the back. I could have done it myself with 8 quarters in Fort Bragg at the car wash. Out $27 and no quarters to finish the job myself. I did call and talk to the manager and he was great, told me to come back, but I live an hour and a half away and not easy to do when working full time. If I do go back, I will most definitely update this review. Gave an extra star for the professionalization of the manager though a small refund to cover the quarters to do it myself at the car wash would have been nice. My husband borrowed my car this morning and when he came back he told me I was right, they did do a crappy job on my car. read more

Three out of three times I brought my Tesla through, there was damage: a nick in the door's leather upholstery, twice, and a serious dent in the frame around the screen. You might say, "Poor Tesla owner. Suck it up," but I'll never go back. I'm convinced one of the workers did all three on purpose. read more

I used to take my car to Redwood Tree Service to have my car washed whenever I was in Ukiah. They used to do a wonderful job and were so nice. I brought my car in after almost 2 years, (I don't get to Ukiah much anymore) and I was EXTREMELY disappointed. When I jumped in my car I noticed that they had caked everything in what I assume was armorall. BUT, because they hadn't properly vacuumed/wiped everything down there were greasy dirt specs and dust everywhere. The steering wheel was so greasy that my hands were slipping on it and I had to wipe it down with a napkin. Once I got on the road, and the sun hit my windshield I noticed it was super hazy, this was even worse once it got dark and oncoming headlights hit it. Did they put armorall on my windshield too!? I had to clean my windshield three times, and it's still a little hazy! Finally, the worst part of all- they got grease all over the leather and cloth seats. (See photos) I've gone over it several times with a cleaner and hope it will fully go away. For as many people as they have working there and for $50 ($37 + tip) they should do a little better. ULTIMATE EXTERIOR WASH!!!!.... MORE LIKE ULTIMATE FAIL!!!!....If I could give no stars I would. Brand new 2021 suburban Z71 came home to find by custom license plate holder was Jammed up against the car and my license plate bent, scratches all over probably from the brush they used at the beginning before you go into the machine wash. I specifically asked if all the bird poop was washed off and of course it wasn't.Also they didn't wash or dry the top of the suburban. I'm mad at myself for even going there. Was referred here by a friend. Paid $120 for the 3-hour job, my car was done in less than 2 hours and there was still dog hair all over the interior of my car. The trunk was never vacuumed out and the windshield had streaks. I called and was told to bring it back but I don't have the time, it should have been done right the first time. They didn't do that good a job and I had to tell him to do the tires that I paid for it to have dressing put on it, since they opened up the new automated carwash I was sitting in the car and I noticed that the brushes are very abusive on your car when going through it I was wondering if it was going to tear my car up the-license plate was coming off after words, I don't think I'll be back because the automated system they have now is to abusive to your car and they did a better job when they did it by hand. read more

Used to be great before they remodeled! Now they push you through an auto wash and barely scrub your vehicle. They used to clean out the inside MUCH better, now they barely scrape by and miss obvious crumbs and such that can be easily vacuumed. Service has declined significantly after switching to the new power wash, and most frustratingly they are hardly ever open. I don't live in Ukiah and when I drive here to get my car cleaned on a day they claim to be open, I expect to arrive and receive service, not have them be closed on a weekday afternoon. This had happened several times now over the past 6 months or so and I'm over it! Going elsewhere! read more

They do an excellent job. I have all-weather mats in my truck and I really appreciate that they take them out and pressure wash them. It can take a long time because they always seem to be busy. 45 mins would be a typical wait time. It's never perfect, obviously you are not paying for auto detailing, but it's better than many other car washes I've gotten in other towns while travelling. read more

As an update, when I called them and reported the damage to my car, I was asked to bring it by for them to look at. I was then given a patronizing excuse that there was no way they could possibly have done anything to damage the car and what I saw was normal. I could not be happier with this car service center! On Christmas Eve I had a sudden major oil leak while running errands in town. I opened Yelp and started calling service centers. Unsurprisingly, no one answered until Luis from Redwood Tree. He came to meet me in a loaner car, gave it to me and took my car to his shop. He called soon after, saying that they had located the leak and they would take care of it once the parts were available, after Christmas. Throughout the process, he called me on a regular basis to let me know the current status and was always incredibly courteous. However, main management guy,I don't know his name is as always kind of a tool. He could have had my car washed while waiting for the oil change but it just sat in line while the car wash was empty. My father-in-law went around Ukiah and obtained quotes for tires for his new truck. He went to the usual big-box stores and obtained quotes and went to Redwood Tree Service and was quoted a price $200 cheaper than any other company could do. I called to get a quote for new tires for my wife's SUV and they were able to order the tires and have them in two days and undercut the competition by $400 for the set. I am super impressed with the service and their willingness to work with my crazy schedule to get new tires on the vehicle. I highly recommend these guys as they are LOCAL and can't get much lower as far as price goes. I will send everybody to this little-known tire spot. read more

Awesome service! Had a tire that needed to be repaired. I ran over a large screw and my car alerted me that the air pressure was dropping fast! I didn't want to get stranded somewhere, especially since I had my toddler with me. Headed to bigO and they estimated a 2 /12 hour wait! Headed over across the way and got an estimate for around 45 minutes to complete. Very friendly and courteous staff. I was out of there in less than 30 minutes! Was $25 total for the repair. Very slow, inside wasn't wiped very well. Dirt in door jams and in cup holders. And this was the "deluxe " wash.

I had my windows tinted in my Dodge Dakota. Redwood tree did an awesome job, looks perfect and my truck was sparkling clean when I picked it up. Not very detailed when it comes to cleaning. I paid $28 for an exterior/interior deluxe cleaning plus a $3 tip and have paid $20 in Santa Rosa for a much better job. I had to wipe down areas of the inside when I got home. Debris left in corners, etc. Also, they did not vacuum the trunk, and left a lot of debris on front mat, and the sides on all areas by the doors. I also has to wipe off smears of white on the exterior and little white drops that had dried on the exterior as well. I think only one person worked on the car in the finishing/interior aisle but in the next row there were 4-5 people working on one car. Must have been the 40 dollar job. Last week, I went to get my car washed, the entire back side was completely dripping wet. I didn't pay to get my car washed just to have a job unfinished. So, as Greg suggested in one of his responses in yelp, I went to talk to Luiz who was managing the business since Greg and his father was gone on a vacation to Hawaii (It must be nice). I pointed out to him about the wet back and how it should be dried properly. This triggered a mocking laugh instantly out of Luiz, like you are kidding me. I told him he shouldn't laugh at his customers since that's considered rude and bad customer service! He angrily began to argue with me in my face how he could laugh if he wanted. Maybe, his behavior was extremely rude that day since his boss was gone and he had no accountability. But that day's experience with him has left me not wanting to go back to RTSS. Frankly, Luiz behavior was threatening and I'm scared to go back! I called the office and left a message to speak to Greg once he comes back from his vacation in Hawaii. Let's see if he follows through returning my call and correct what has been done wrong! read more
