We stopped at 2 different RV repair shops in Ukiah. Both of them listened to our problems and then said that the earliest they could fit us in would be in three months. LOL. The last place suggested we check out NCD Painting, which also services RVs and Heavy Equipment. We pulled in, met Pete Moyer who also listened to our tale of woe. He then called over Sean, and they both began figuring out what needed to be fixed. I was expecting Pete to tell me to come back in 2 months; but no, they immediately began working on the van. They fixed the leak in our water filter. Then they tackled our gray water problem. They worked on it for 2 hours and fixed our problems and sent us on our way. Pete and Sean were incredibly nice and accommodating. They charged us a very reasonable price. And they will never see us again. Amazing people. I can't remind recommend NCD Painting enough. But as we pulled up to get my bike, I noticed that there was an employee sitting on my bike as if he owned it and then I was told that they all have Harleys at that place, and they would never ever ruin a Harley or ever scratch anybody's Harley. But I found it very interesting as I pulled up to see employee sitting on my bike as if it was break time. So $1300 later I have a scratch over where my gas cap is and that's what I paid for. So the moral of the story here is it would've been nice if the owner would've said you know what bring the bike back. Let me look at it. I'm really sorry that happened you know let me give you some money off whatever the case maybe just whether it was whoever's fault. It's just about good customer service and making the customer happy. But that didn't happen.

It was a roadmap for making a sturdy old boat ready for sea and fit for the 350 mile trip from San Francisco Bay to its new home in Southern California.
