    New outdrive just installed

Allen was quick to get back to me about my 1989 Bayliner with 5.7L Volvo Penta engine connected to a OMC Cobra. He was one of the few people in the region that had a knowledgeable mechanic about this type of setup. He organized for the repairs to take place at my marina and we did the Lower Shift Cable as well as swapped the outdrive with a replacement I had. Was reliable, quick , and always got back to me. Charged me fairly for the hours and I'm very happy with the repair

The boat drifted under the dock and a screw ground out part of the rubrail. John saved me from having to buy a new one by filling it in.

My Mercruiser wouldn't start and Allen's mechanic was able to diagnose the problem with a few text messages.

After I was left with a botched unfinished job by the mechanic from the boatyard I was having some major work done in, Franco Marine came in, took the mess that was left, and made everything work just as it should. No one wanted this mess, but Franco Marine didn't even hesitate. He was also booked out more than a month, and told me he'd figure out a way to squeeze me in. Less than a week later on a Sunday, he came out and met me at the boat, did what he could for about 4 hours, got a list of parts and part numbers to complete the job, and came back a week later with the parts he ordered, and got my boat back in action. I'm very happy with how knowledgeable, and prepared with the right specialty tools, to get the job done, and how determined he was to get everything done right! When I say that the wiring on my boat was a mess, that's a major understatement. Previous Mechanic said I needed a new wiring harness, after calling me every week to tell me they needed to replace another 5 wires, and it was going to be another $1,000.... yah that crap.... then ordered the wrong wiring harness, halfway installed it, couldn't figure out how to finish the install, most of what was done, was done wrong, and the other half was just a mess of wires not connected to anything. Being that it was the wrong harness, there was about 10 extra wires with no place to go, and other necessary wires, missing from the harness altogether. He patiently studied the situation, did some research, traced every wire from beginning to end, figured everything out, and things that hadn't worked since I bought the boat, are now working as designed, and my engine is running great! I can't thank him enough for his help! If I could give him 10 stars I would, he certainly deserves it!

Bobby the mechanic was great, and managed to clean the oilpan of debris without having to lift the engine. Clint the electrician and woodworker fix up some of the shady electrical systems from the previous owner and replace with a proper switch, nicely installed and also fixed the engine instruments. Excellent work. Alex was our project manager. **REVIEW FOR SAUSALITO LOCATION**…read more My recent, and rather extensive, experience at KKMI Sausalito was truly top notch. I purchased a boat out of my local area and wanted to accomplish some significant refit work before relocating it to Southern California. The entire crew at KKMI was professional, knowledgeable and just great to work with. They worked hard to stay on schedule and and maintained excellent communication throughout. It's a boat, so there were a few last minute surprises but KKMI managed them well, making sure I did not miss my departure window. Thank you to the entire KKMI team (with special thanks to Project Manager, Mitch) for making a large project as stress-free as possible and delivering a quality result that was proven out on the 400nm shakedown trip home.

The bathrooms were nearby and they weren't too bad! The amount of new buildings in this area is fantastic to see. There are many tech companies and of course Genentech. Unfortunately the boats weren't in 100% efficient working order and apparently our scheduled maintenance wasn't getting done as well as we had hoped. When our maintenance department started falling behind we decided to look to outside vendors to maintain the boats. Needless to say we couldn't find one to our liking locally. It was then passed onto our planning department to try and find someone who is a "Yamaha authorized dealer" since we use Yamaha motors. Our search brought us to Park Presidio Marine located on the other side of the Bay. Luckily for us, PPM was willing to come over to us and take a look at our boats and come up with a plan to service our boats at our facility. It's now been 8 weeks and 4 visits since we first made contact with PPM and I can't say enough good things our how this is working out. Ryan has been able to get 2 of our boats back up to working order. He listens to my concerns and addresses them quickly. From what I've heard, our planning department is now expecting to try and purchase a 250 HP replacement motor and have them mount it on our twin motored 32 footer. I'll be sure to write up another review about how that goes, but so far we are very satisfied with PPM. Keep doing what your doing Gary and Ryan!
