Since it doesn't look like anyone has updated this - this Harley shop has been closed and out of business for about 2 years. This will be the new site for the local DMV office by summertime 2025. So any riders coming through 101 that were planning on stopping because yelp doesn't know- it's closed . The closest Harley shop is in either Redding or Santa Rosa . When traveling - if there is a local Harley-Davidson shop, I stop in to look around, get a poker chip and/or pin, and shirt or muscle shirt. Nice H-D shop! Nice selection of bikes! I wish they had a larger selection of muscle shirts. I managed to snag the only remaining muscle shirt they had in my size - a red one with Bigfoot on it - in a XXL size! stopped there last week as we were driving through Eureka. Almost didn't stop as the place looked closed. Closed as in out of business closed. Literally appeared deserted. Weeds growing from the cracks in the sidewalks. Bed areas around building with tall grass and weeds. Not one bike outside on display. Windows filthy from the salt air obviously haven't seen any love in a long time. Dead quiet in the showroom. No tunes. The sparse number of bikes in the showroom had thick dust on them. The young lady working that day was okay once we got her to talk to us. They seemed to be in transition from one owner to another perhaps? By far the worst appearance of a Harley dealer I've ever seen. Seems like an "under-performing" dealership to me. Just saying. Totally weird for a Harley dealership. read more

I've been a loyal customer for several years. Became friends with a few of the fine folks working there. Recently, the head mechanic sold his house and decided to move on and gave appropriate notice. Dealership management convinced him to stick ar until the end of the month so another tech could get certified and they could move some of the backlog of work pending. Shane has been the glue that holds the place together. They fired him last week. No notice. Nothing. Told to pack his tools and get out. Victoria is a really nice young lady that has been in the clothes dept for a long time. She too gave notice to move on to a job in line with her career goals. She to was fired just before her last day along with the "unsatisfactory performance" note so she couldn't be rehired in the future. I am just a customer. Now a former customer. Any employer that treats their staff this way will also treat their customers with equal disrespect in my opinion. I will not give Redwood Harley Davidson any more of my money. My husband purchased a shirt for me.last week, did not have his glasses on and got a xxxL I wear a large. I tried to return it today for.a smaller size. Not happening. The manager said due.to.covitt19 I could.not exchange for.a smaller size. He would not even listen to what I said. He was a huge jerk. My husband purchased the shirt from him and he never said no returns allowed nor was it posted. This is really very not ok. I never tried the shirt on. Why are they even sell I ng clothing? Deplorable service, empty promises and I have also been flat out lied to. I just received a vehicle registration renewal notice on a bike that I traded in to them 8 MONTHS AGO. Not to mention the bike I traded in was a total lemon that they sold me - claiming it had passed a safety inspection which was also a load of bull. I tried to give them a chance to make things right but the nightmare only continues. Take my name off the title guys, it's been long enough. These guys have always done a great job on all services and repairs for me on a variety of v-twin bikes over the years. These guys are knowledgeable, friendly, competitively priced and professional. Easy access right off the 101, on the north end of town, just before you cross over the bridge. New, modern facility with a good parts and service department. Also carry most of the rider gear and accessories you would expect to find in a Harley shop. There may be larger stores in nor-cal, but there is not a better one around. Thank you Anna in Eureka. Yesterday I needed a shirt to wear to a funeral I am going to tomorrow. I found the one I wanted but it was sold out. I am in Texas so I called every Harley House in Texas. No one had it. Finally, someone suggested I call Redwood Harley in Eureka California. I called and Anna answered. To my great surprise Anna had only one of the Willie G long sleeve button down shirts in stock and it was my size. Problem was the shirt was in Eureka California and I'm in Texas. On top of that, UPS had already been by the Harley shop that day. Anna, being the stellar individual she is, said no problem. I paid for the shirt over the phone and Anna drove it to the UPS store and shipped it so I would get it today. Sure enough, I got it this morning at 10:01. I can't thank you enough, Anna. The staff at Redwood went the extra mile for me recently, I was four days into a ten day ride when my CVO lost a cam and lifters, luckily for me I was in close proximity to Redwood Harley Davidson. Brandon came and picked up my bike from the hotel and took it to the dealership, even though they were short handed and only had an injured technician on hand that day they were able to tear down the bike and identify the problem. The parts got ordered and shipped in next day and the staff stayed late to get me back on the road! the service was great and they were vary attentive to my needs. For 7 months I have been trying to get an agreed upon exchange completed. I purchased merchandise in March of this year and communicated that I live in Alaska and I wanted to be able to exchange the shirt I bought for my husband in the event it didn't fit. I shipped the shirt with instructions and a self paid return priority envelope to complete the exchSeveral months several calls the same shirt I bought getting shipped back to me instead of an exchange. Another attempt with the Manager and now 3 months since our last communication and assurance everything would be handled. I call today am refused the name of people up the chain of command and am hung up on. I had to call Milwaukee and file a CC complaint and am issued a CC# and the name and # of who I asked for today. Redwood Harley's customer service seems to stop at the actual shop. Currently I am without anything that I have already paid for and am waiting. UPDATE:: HD Headquarters customer care took my problem seriously and put me in touch with the District Manager equipped with a reference number and they addressed my concerns and made the over due exchange. Do not trust this establishment, they are sharks that will try to rip you off while giving you 'the best deal on bikes'. Do not fall for it, they will run you quickly through the paper work and will not disclose any details, they want the sale and will ultimately leave you upside down in a rip off agreement with a jacked up apr (depending on your credit) that will leave you thousands of dollars in debt. *****Be aware about this dealership, the Redwood Harley-Davidson and also the Yuba City Harley Davidson stores.***** *******Please, please, please******* *********Don't trust sales managers Brian Widmar his know has "Teddy Bear" and Matt, these two employees are liars, unpatriotic manipulators of elderly disabled American Veterans, frauds and overall negligent representatives of an otherwise amazing Harley-Davidson brand name.******** I'm the disabled American Veteran, that these two Brian and Matt, these two unpatriotic manipulators and representatives of Redwood Harley-Davidson took advantage of me during a purchase. I was an out of towner visitor to their town Eureka, they fraudulently sold me a motercycle on 10/14/17 without clearing a courant lean on this motercycle first, this is a criminal violation in California with prosecution by DMV investigation and time in jail for violating dealers laws, next I was charged $407.13 more than the amount I was originally quoted and agreed on for the bike, this charge was added on without my knowledge, next I was supplied with improper sales paperwork that were given to me as recipients of purchase. Luckily i payed for this motercycle with a credit card, so i had a record of the sale and a receipt of the sale from my credit card. Now since my purchase on 10/14/17 I never received my registration or my title for this motercycle, after calling Brian and Matt many times, at first they referred me to the DMV, later I was told by Matt that there was an oversight and nothing was ever sent to DMV after my purchase on October 2017. On February 2018 I finally received a registration from DMV but on this registration it was clearly posted that Redwood Harley was a lean holder, on a motercycle that I bought and payed for. I was furious, I contacted Brian and I let him have it, Matt contacted me afterwards and this person strong me along, with the false hope that he was going to fix this problem, but it never was. I finally hired a lawyer Mark Katzman in Los Angeles and he called Matt several times and this "pussy" didn't return any of my lawyers calls, Brian was called next and he answered, he was explained and quoted California dealers laws by my lawyer and he was told to get me my tittle or take back the bike and that an investigation would be conducted by DMV and anyone involved in the sale of this would be most likely, prosecuted and jailed for the sale of this motercycle without first clearing any leans relating to it. On 04/17/2018 I finally received my proper registration without a lean holder, I also finally received my title, but there were vague instructions, for example my name appears in the front and the lean is cleared with a stamp over the lean holders name, but on the back my name and address was filed in and I was sent instructions to sign and date line #9 and also supply the date of purchase and mail it back to DMV. Yesterday I physically went to a local DMV and the clerk that helped me explained to me that the instructions sent were deceiving, because signing line #9 would relinquish my ownership to this motercycle back to Redwood Harley. I don't doubt it that someone at Redwood Harley Davidson war trying to fraudulently deceive me in signing over the bike back to them. Look this is a serious warning to all potential costumers of Redwood City or Yuba City Harley Davidson, especially to Seniors, or disabled military veterans committing to purchasing a Harley-Davidson motercycle is an expansive commitment and no one should ever be treated with such blatant negligence has I was, I'm a long time Harley-Davidson brand owner, this purchase in Eureka was not my first purchase of other motorcycles and dealing with other Harley-Davidson dealership. In the pest 20 years I have purchased several other Harley-Davidson motorcycles from other Harley-Davidson dealers in the Southern California region and I honestly can say that I have never been taken advantage of from any other dealership or from any of their sales persons or sales manager that represented that dealership, so it was shocking and absolutely outrageously out of character for this to happen. read more

I purchased a used Kawasaki Vulcan from Redwood Harley in July 2017. The sales people were helpful and even worked with me to bring the bike across the border into Oregon and sell it to me there so that I didn't have to pay the sales tax or drive all the way down. So, we met in Brookings at a notary and had the sale notarized. The bike was in a bit worse shape than advertised. They didn't note the dent in the pipe cover or the amount of surface rust for a bike with only 4,000 miles on it. But a little aluminium foil and elbow grease took care of the surface rust. Somebody clearly dropped the bike on it's right side at some point. It wasn't a deal breaker, however. Other than that, the bike was in good shape. My one-star review is because of the problems and runaround that I have received from RH regarding receiving the title for the bike. When I asked about it, they said it would be mailed. Two months later I called to inquire, and was told it was on its way. I called again a month later and was told that there was a lien on the bike which had to be taken care of! I was not told about a lien against the bike, and it should have been taken care of before they sold the bike. So, in December I called again and was told that the sale went through and that a title had been issued in my name. It never arrived. I called again in February and was told that they would just reissue a title with the CA DMV and send it directly to me and that it would arrive in 4-6 weeks. 6 weeks would have been three weeks ago, March 14th, 2018. It still hasn't arrived. So, I called today and was told that they never actually ordered a replacement title!! It has now been 9 MONTHS since I purchased the bike. I cannot register the bike in Oregon because I don't have the title, and I cannot seem to get the title. I have now been told that I will have to sign a document for the DMV in order to get the title for my own bike because they put in my name but mailed it to RH who must have lost it. I am beyond frustrated by this point. I feel like I have been exceedingly patient and thus have refused to file a yelp review, but no matter what happens from here on out, I couldn't give higher review. I expected more from a Harley Davidson dealer. read more

I broke down 450 miles from home. I called between 6 and 7 PM on a Sunday night just to find out the hours and somebody answered the phone. He told me what time they opened, he put me on the schedule for the next day, and told me they would do their best to solve my problem. Me and my bike were towed to the shop and arrived one hour after they opened. I was not even done checking in and my bike was in the back being put on the lift. My back brakes were not working and the mechanic on duty Larry had a very good idea what the problem was before he even started. He was correct. The bolts holding the two-piece hub on my rear wheel had backed out leaving my rotor free wheeling. He repaired a few threads secured my rear wheel and got me on the road before noon. Everybody in the shop was very professional and could not have been nicer. My hats off to Larry for being a bad ass. read more

Max and the service team at Redwood Harley-Davidson saved my road trip. I had the mother of all punctures in my rear tire in Crescent City on a Saturday and was told by every motorcycle dealer and tire shop within 100 miles that there was nothing they could do. Max was the only one who tried to help and I don't even ride a Harley. My rear tire is a rare size and was almost impossible to find. As I was calling other dealerships to check their availability, I was surprised to find that Max had already called them for me. We managed to track a tire down across town, but their service department wouldn't take any new customers even an hour before they closed. Max said, "No problem" and stayed open a little later to put on a tire I purchased from another dealer. While we were waiting, he had one of the shop technicians give us a ride to any restaurant we wanted in Eureka. I can't thank you and your team enough. I wish I had more stars to give. read more

I was on my way from the Bay Area up to Seattle last weekend when my Super Duke started overheating just around Klamath. I barely managed to get back to Eureka where almost every motorcycle shop was closed. I was seriously worried that I would get stuck there (I had to be up in Seattle for work the next week) when I ran into Brandon at Redwood Harley Davidson (the only shop open in town). Brandon went above and beyond to help me out. Not only did he manage to find somebody to give us advice on the phone for how to deal with KTM bikes, he also went through the recommended procedure of bleeding the cooling system with me. It took us about two hours at his garage to get the bike back into shape. At the end Brandon didn't even accept payment for his work. I am truly amazed and inspired to pay it forward. Huge shout out to Harley Davidson in Eureka for stepping up for a bunch of American Legion riders from Rio Linda on Friday when we had one of our veterans with a split tire. They were able to get us in and out of there in an hour and a half and we were back on the road. We are so very grateful and recommend the store and every employee that we dealt with that day was awesome! They made us a fresh pot of hot coffee and gave us information and navigation assistance with regard to the path we were taking. Great service!!! My road king broke down right in the dealership parking lot at 4:00 p.m. while travelling down the coast to San Francisco. The service advisor (Vince I think) came out and promptly diagnosed my problem as a faulty compensator. After a quick check with the mechanic (sorry don't know his name) they pushed me into the shop and got me back on the road within a couple of hours. V.C. After getting a rear tire flat on Hwy 36, I called Redwood to let them know the tow was bringing in us and the bike. When we arrived the service people were ready and had the bike on the lift. They found a nail in the tire. They had already looked in stock and said they had a new tire. The bike was ready in 45min. The people inside new that we were tired. They asked if we needed something to eat, they made us coffee, asked to make hotel reservations and gave us a map to visit son at work. I cannot say enough for the help and service at Redwood Harley. They help make a long day into and adventure. In all the trip was safe and we had a great time. I passed the word along to my REC HOG club members to let them know that Redwood Harley is a place that cares not only for the bike but also for us! My husband and I just purchased a motorcycle from here. Originally I thought they were awesome! Teddy bear was our salesman and he was friendly and attentive. I have been reading the reviews on yelp and it seems that most of their reviews are in regard to their service department. When it comes to the sales I don't have such glowing reviews. We were told a price out the door. When the loan papers didn't state that price I was told that when we brought our 2000 Down the price would reflect that. I signed the papers. I know not a smart choice but I trusted them. Lesson learned. When my husband brought the down payment he again was assured that the 2000 would come off the total in the papers. We weren't given any copies of loan documents or any temp registration. When we called to inquire about this we were told that they remember giving us a folder. They had not. I then revived a call saying they "did some housekeeping and found our documents. They accidentally put them in a drawer. We could come get them." They also added an extended warranty for the sum of 800 dollars that they didn't say was an option that we could opt out of. Thank god they did that though because after driving the bike for a week it difficult to shift. The service department looked at it and gave us a list of repairs that it needed. All covered under the warranty they sneaked in to the contract lol. They have now had the bike for going on 2 weeks. When we asked if they do an inspection on used bikes before selling the service guy said we look at the fluid and if they look dirty we take care of it. Wow. When we brought our concern of the price discrepancy we were told that they never said what we heard them say and that the loan and price were described in detail. Not the case. They did not offer a compromise at all. Teddy bear said "we are fixing the bike" I guess that was supposed to be considered a favor? Um... we paid like 700 dollars for a year warranty they had to cover it regardless. Anyway. Needless to say lesson learned. They will not be getting our business again and I won't be recommending them to anyone. Shady to say the least. ***update. We took the bike to a shop and they immediately figured out he problem and replaced the bad parts. Bike drives perfect now. I'm not sure why after having the bike so many times for so long Harley couldn't figure the problem out. We have notified the Harley dealership and are just waiting to see if they make things right **** update*** after u posted the update about the other shop figuring the problem Harley responded to my yelp saying I would get a phone call soon. That didn't happen. They did fix the bike at their shop and do work beyond what the other shop diagnosed. I added a star for that but i have still not revived reimbursements for the almost 300 dollars we paid to the other shop like they said they would. read more

Brought in my bike for a 40k service. Great service desk intake, attention to detail, and made sure I had answers to all my questions. Same day turn-around, even delivered my ride back immaculate with the chrome never looking so good. Service manager Court and advisor Nicole both provided great customer service. And I was pleased with the final bill too - less than I expected. Not sure why some people bag on this dealer, my experiences so far have been great. read more

Impressive service! We were on vacation, and on a Thursday my battery died. I managed to coax one last start out of it, and rode 70 miles to RHD. They replaced the battery, sold us a couple of T-shirts and a great pair of boots. Very friendly people. Friday, the starter clutch quit making the rattle-bang noises it had been doing for the last couple of years. Unfortunately, it also quit engaging the starter. I called RHD, but they were short staffed and couldn't spare a guy to come get it. After being screwed around by a towing service, I arrived at 3:15 with my non-starting Harley on a U-Haul trailer. I had kept the service department updated, so they were expecting me. A little over 90 minutes later, I had a new starter clutch and a functioning Harley - at a very reasonably price. Very, very happy customer here! read more

These guys are the best. Was on the road when my rear cylinder was dead. Running on one cylinder when I pulled in. Due to my travel status they made my bike a priority and put it right on the lift. The tech found the problem(an intake leak) and replaced the intake seal. He also identified some other minor maintenance issues that I could take care of later when I got home. The cost was minimal and these guys kept it real. This could have been a disaster. They were friendly and accommodating with a very comfortable waiting area.
