Great beer, cool space, one really loud generator!…read more Stopped here while hanging out at the hospital and needing a little break from all of that. We grabbed a spot on the upper deck, enjoyed the amazing weather, and had a great view of the bags tournament going on below. The place is huge and really cool inside. Everything felt fresh and clean, and that crazy steampunk bicycle near the entrance is worth checking out by itself. We tried the Electronic Fog, Sun Days, and Dreamy Eyes, and honestly enjoyed all three. The guy behind the bar was fast, funny, and actually knew his beer without making you feel like you were taking a damn class. There was a food truck there, so we grabbed some nachos and tacos. They were good and hit the spot. Prices for both the beer and food seemed pretty normal for a brewery. My only real complaint was the food truck generator. Holy crap was that thing loud. Even sitting up on the deck it was annoying. I can't imagine playing bags right next to it and having to yell at your friends just to talk. If food trucks are a regular thing here, it seems like giving them a way to plug into power would make the outdoor space a whole lot better. Bathroom could use a little attention too, but nothing terrible. Overall, we really enjoyed the place. Good beer, cool atmosphere, good service, and a great spot to hang out for a while. I'd definitely stop back.

A man and his friend we're sitting at a table and they had two black terrier dogs with them. My daughter was skipping by the table (to get to our table) where they were sitting and the two dogs lunge at her from under the table and bites her on the leg. I bring her outside while my husband gives the dog owner a few words. One of the workers came out to check on us, brought ice and tissues and proceeded to tell us that we "needed to keep a tight leash on our children". Um what? The worker made it known to me that they "were regulars" and know them. I don't see how that makes it okay for two dogs to attack someone relevant. I go inside to confront the man and ask for his number just in case my daughter has severe injuries from the bite, he was extremely rude and didnt have a care in the world about what happened or if my daughter was okay. Hi Wire, is this a place for pets to sit inside with their owners or a place for people to eat, drink and play games? Sure felt very un family friendly.

All 3 have many things in common... This brewery consistently produces some amazing beer. IPAs and hazy IPAs are top notch here. Add in some tv's throughout with sports on, and some foosball and shuffle board, and you have a super fun spot to hang out. The outdoor patio is super comfy as well, and surrounded by beautiful large trees. This is a place I need to stop in every time we're in the Wilmington area. They have a variety of seating options, including some group-friend booths. On my last visit, I sat at the bar and ordered a flight of beer. Tony the bartender was very patient with my request for a flight of local beer with no IPAs or hoppy beers. He picked out: 2: Wrightsville Beach Orange Crush, 3. Waterline Kolsh, 4. Teaches Peaches, 1. Watermelon Dragon Fruit Burst. I was familiar with the first three and loved them. I jokingly refer to Wrightsville Beach Orange Crush as creamsicle beer. It isn't too sweet, but the Orange flavor is quite strong. The Waterline Kolsh is light and very easy to drink. The Teaches Peaches is one of my favorites due to its light fruity flavor. The Watermelon Dragon Fruit Burst was a wildcard in Tony's lineup. This sour was a refreshing way to mix up my beer tasting. My friend also got a flight and didn't like one of the beers he chose. Tony swapped it out for a different beer as soon as I told him and the new one was well-received. My favorite part of this visit was that Tony decided to bring me a sample of the 8. Firestone Walker Mind Haze, because it was a non-hoppy IPA and he thought I might like it. It wasn't my fave, but I really appreciated the opportunity to try something new. I snacked on free popcorn all during my visit. The popcorn machine is in the back. Also in the back are single-stall restrooms. Tavern Law has an A+ in my book because they have great local beer on tap and they are gay friendly.

We came yesterday and didn't want to wait but then came back today and got our group on the list and waited. Note that the parking close by is expensive and they won't seat you if your whole party isn't there within 5 minutes of texting that your table is ready. So yep- plan to wait and sit around. Inside it's pub style, bar available and good music, but not much seating which explains the wait ;) We ordered the 109 Chestnut Chicken Sandwich, the Hot Roasted Pork Sandwich and the Reuben. Our waitress recommended not getting the onion rings app and to do it as sides to save money, and man, we had SO MANY leftovers. The pork sandwich is super good but so filling. I could only eat half with all the onion rings! The Reuben was absolutely delicious and I would 1000% get that again. The best thing on the menu in our opinion: the Cheese Steak Egg Rolls with chipotle mayo- OMG. We will DREAM about these!!! I haven't seen these talked about much- TRY THEM, they were literally mouth watering and I would have eaten them as an entree and not an app!
