Took my daughter and friends to this place. I would say they are highly unorganized and plan was not thought out. The Asylum had the worst set up. Doors that opened that apparently should not have been opened. Groups of us exited out the wrong exit and was told to go back in and find another door which was a hazard. The next place, the cinema I believe, was okay for the most part except for this huge log in the middle of no where as we were nearing the end that caused a lot of us to trip over and fall. Major safety hazard. Mind you it was dark and you can't see. As we were leaving, ambulances were arriving because people had gotten hurt. So, I am definitely glad I went in with the kiddos to make sure they would be okay.

Cool concept for this place, but I was pretty underwhelmed. The haunted trail was okay. I thought it would be an actual trail through the woods but it was through a wooden maze. If I could give the zombie paintball part one star, I would. Completely different from what they show in the trailer. Probably 7 or 8 zombies showed up during the whole thing on our side! A suggestion? Get more zombies! If this were a review for previous years it would've definitely have 4 or 5 stars. But this year's was really a flop for what I thought would be the best one yet. I think a good price would've been about $10 - $15. Definitely not $25.

Taken right before we went into Cinegore.

Came here last night and I'm honestly super impressed by this haunted house. First things first,…read morethey DO TOUCH you here, not just a little light tap here and there - you do sign up for full on hair grabbing, neck touching, and expect to be grabbed on your head or body, etc. I'm a fan of haunts and have been looking for something to take it to the next level, so I was fully okay and enjoyed this part of the experience. I do understand that may be too intense for some people, so be aware. You can pay for a "No Touch" pass for $10. General admission was $40 plus taxes and online fees. You can also buy at the ticket booth when you arrive - CASH ONLY. Once you enter, you scan a QR code and join a virtual queue for the haunted houses. You'll get a text when it's your turn and the haunt starts at Dark Woods and is set up nicely to connect to the other haunted houses. I love that I did not have to wait in line the entire time I was there with the virtual queue. Honestly it's a very thoughtful touch and all haunted houses should have this option to help with long waits. While you wait, you can grab food from food trucks, watch their Freak Shows, shop at their gift shops, or just hang out with your friends. Every staff member was super nice and awesome to interact with. 10/10 and I can understand why they are the top haunted house in Texas!!

Luckily, Creepy Hollow stays open a little after Halloween which worked out perfect for us! Creepy Hollow has been on my radar for awhile. I heard it was the scariest around so I had to check it out. I live in Pearland, so getting here was easy. I'm sure it's a drive for most people. We got there early so parking was a breeze, but they do have people directing traffic as it does get busy during the Halloween season. We came on a discount weekend so it was 5 dollars off the 40 dollar price rage. Kinda steep you say? I think it's fair since you get 3 attractions and entertainment all throughout the grounds. You can also pay extra for speed passes to skip lines. On top of that, you can also pay extra if you don't want the actors to touch you. Yes you read that right, they do touch. None of us paid for extras, and for the most part, the touching wasn't over the top. Some were a little much, but nothing inappropriate, just rough. The scare factor was definitely there in all the attractions. They did a great job with the set ups and themes of the different houses. I definitely had a few scream moments even though I was supposed to be protecting the gals. They also have shows, shops, entertainment and food throughout the property. Overall, my peeps and I had a blast and are planning on coming back next year for our spooky fix!

My friend and I had planned a fun night, and he was so excited to go as it was my first time at a haunted house. He arrived and was on the phone with me, simply trying to find my car so he could come get me. Before he even made it to my car door, he was aggressively approached and accused of trying to break into cars. Instead of asking questions or verifying anything, the main security guy immediately escalated the situation. He refused to even speak with me when I tried to explain, told my friend he had to leave or he'd take him to jail, and claimed he had a "witness" when no one ever came over or saw what actually happened. He had just bought our tickets online, but they kicked us out without a refund, without any respect, and without listening. It was humiliating and infuriating to see someone instantly stereotyped and treated like a criminal for doing absolutely nothing wrong. What was supposed to be a fun night turned into a painful reminder of how casually people still weaponize assumptions against Black men. We reserved the first option of 7pm. Then you check in and I showed them my online ticket purchase. They placed a band on and those who make a reservation get in line for the train. Your ride will last about 15min, each person sits in front of a rrally nice mounted loaded paintball gun with a 100 pellets. I suggest sitting facing the land and not the lines. We rode it twice and enjoyed the land view more! 4 stars because it could have more zombie & the option to buy more ammo. With that said we would come again.

HAD AN ABSOLUTE BLAST!…read more I think this is a relatively new attraction. Maybe a few years old. It is now a staple for our annual Halloween activities. Halloween was rained out this year so we had to schedule our ride for the week after. They did a good job in communicating changes on their website. Rides were $25 per person but half price with the Groupon. Wear your least expensive tennis shoes, old jeans and a t-shirt. You will get super dirty or super muddy if they've had rain. Pack plastic bags or something to deposit your shoes into when the ride is over. You won't want to clean all that muck from your vehicle floor. Don't forget the bug spray! This place is in the middle of no-where at the end of a dirt road. From the moment you turn off the paved highway into the wooded area, the intensity builds. You're sure zombie's are going to attack your vehicle as you drive toward the fire-lit pavilion. Through the gates, the parking area is grassy, unmarked, and un-lit. After you register for your ride, you will wait under a dirt floor pavilion with rows of bar height counter surfaces. Our wait was very short but wait times can be 2+ hours if you don't have a reservation. If you have a long wait, they entertain the crowd with games and they've even got an outdoor movie screen. Long waits could easily be as much fun as the attraction itself. Bring a deck of cards and some snacks and it will pass, no problem. Now for the ride. FANTASTIC! I'll leave it there as not to spoil it for anyone but trust me, if you're into zombies and spooky 'ish, you will definitely enjoy this attraction!

I've been to many haunted houses around Houston, this was my first time here and I applaud & commend all the hard work and efforts by everyone & make Scream Park one of my top choices to visit or recommend to everyone. They are following Covid regulations with enforcing social distancing and masks as well as having sanitizer available. Video, cameras & lights are not allowed once inside the experience. Buy your tickets online to save time. They offer two types of tickets, general or VIP, we opted for the VIP ticket which had us skip the line that we likely would've waited about an hour in. A food truck was onsite in case you are hungry & parking is free. Enjoy your Halloween season by stopping by, you won't be disappointed!

The haunted house is located in an old warehouse in northwest Houston. There's ample parking and a security check point before entering the main line. Guests are required to go through metal detectors and show the contents of their purses and pockets before proceeding which honestly made me feel better before going into a large dark warehouse with a bunch of strangers. After making the 30ish minute drive from central Houston, it was nice to have several porta potties with handwashing sinks available before possible moments of peak adrenaline (iykyk). We also decided to grab a quick adult beverage at the food truck outside while waiting in line. My friends got whiteclaws and I opted for the featured margarita ($13). There was a little bit of a line when we arrived, however they do a good job of keeping guests entertained with several costumed features wandering among the queue to help set the mood. Once you past the door, they take a quick photo of your group which is available for purchase at the end. Then it was time for the haunted house! The maze winds through dark twists and turns, leading into a series of terrifying rooms filled with gory scenes, disorienting mirrors, and eerie optical illusions that keep you constantly on edge. Costumed creatures lurk around the corner, springing out when you least expect it - and sometimes chasing you down - to quite literally, keep you on your toes. I'm not a huge screamer or someone who gets freaked out easily but it was a lot of fun to be immersed in this totally different environment. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and it really set the mood for the holiday yet to come.
