A hidden gem in Kingwood/Porter! The staff is friendly and helpful. You can tell time and detail went into the production of putting this place together. The haunts fully immerse you in their multiple themes & atmospheres. The actors are committed and enjoy what they do. At first appearance it doesn't look too big, but that's just an illusion. Just when you think the haunt is over, there is another door to pass or a tight hall to walk through what seemed like a never ending experience, lasted about 30-40 min. I've been to many haunted houses around Houston, this was my first time here and I applaud & commend all the hard work and efforts by everyone & make Scream Park one of my top choices to visit or recommend to everyone. They are following Covid regulations with enforcing social distancing and masks as well as having sanitizer available. Video, cameras & lights are not allowed once inside the experience. Buy your tickets online to save time. They offer two types of tickets, general or VIP, we opted for the VIP ticket which had us skip the line that we likely would've waited about an hour in. This place was so bad I would never go back here again they stopped me and my friends in the middle of the trail walk with a flashlight and accused one of me and my Friends of STICKING our tongues in one of the characters mouth and that we couldn't touch them but before he could let us talk and say that we never did that he kept telling us that doesn't matter after spending 140$ to get in this was the worst experience ever worst haunted house! read more

Eh...... I/we have been to just about every haunted house is Houston. We went Friday the line wasn't long. We got to the front pretty fast. The parking wasn't too bad. However, when we were parking we saw that the steel barrels that keep the string up fell over and actually damaged some vehicles. stay away from those when you park. Okay On to the park Upon seeing the attraction it looks big. The ticket line and entrance line can be confusing. But there are people there to guide you. There is music for entertainment and some characters walking around but not enough of them. The line setup in nicely organized. Inside the haunt, was great not too scary that was okay. There are some claustrophobic areas FYI. What it did lack were actors just in general it needed more actors. Super cool themes and the structure of the entire place was well constructed. Tips for the owners. It would be nice to have a projector with a screen where the line is at with a scary movie playing. Like " House of a Thousand Corpses " get their heart pumping. Definitely more actors at the lines. All in all I will not go again. Hint hint for you scare thrill seekers Creepy hollow in Rosharon is no doubt one of the best!!! Upon entering we were guided to what was the ticket line vs the line for the haunted house. Overall the actors were great, they played they're part very well. We went on a Saturday night, it was bound to be busy. Paid $40 per ticket and waited about 1hour and 15 minutes. Least to say, I was disappointed, we went in with a group but came out with two others. The jump scares were alright, this was my first haunted house so I was probably expecting too much. The people we were bunched with walked slow and so did the people in front of them. Therefore we knew what was coming, would've been better if they gave the groups more time to walk. read more

This was probably in the top 3 haunted attractions I've ever visited. That being said, it didn't scare me.. but I'm not easily frightened. The haunt itself was quite long (about 20 minutes) with lots of different themes. I wish there had been more pitch black areas and claustrophobic areas. The spinning tunnel was freaking awesome. I could've done that part over and over. I caught up with the group in front of me early on which was a bummer. The props were well done, there were plenty of actors and most of them were committed to their roles. Outside while waiting in line was entertaining with music and lights and actors. I was in line for an hour, so the VIP ticket for an extra $20 might be worth it to some. The tickets are a bit pricey, but all of these things are anymore. I enjoyed myself though. read more

they need to get parking situation under control. we got there early but when we got back to our car to leave someone had blocked us in luckily we found the manager and he was able to yell in the line and find the person. i have been coming every year and they need to change some stuff. read more

Wow! What an amazing, great and looooong haunted attraction. I have gone to tons of horror houses and Kingwood has grown. The last time I went was around 4 years ago, but they have added more rooms, more scares and way more themes to their house. They are very creative with their Elevator to Hell, I liked their abandoned carnival outside, the whole experience was nice. The downside is it's extremely packed and they send multiple groups within mins of each other, so, you know to expect scares and where they're coming from - since you're able to hear the group in front. And sometimes they actors are still scaring the group in front and forget about your group. I was considering taking off a star for this but I do understand that it's a busy season and I attended the week before Halloween. I suggest going at the beginning of the month or even Sept. read more

The line is long and my boyfriend and I did wait for about an hour, but there was a DJ playing awesome music and staff that dressed up and entertained us while in line. Great experience tonight! Paid $66 for 2 GA passes and the line was pretty long, maybe 50 minutes but it was well worth it. My brother and I go to haunted houses together ever year. This is definitely the best one I have ever been to. Although there was a long line it was already so much fun. They had a DJ, people were dancing, actors were going through the lines scaring you or dancing with you. Super interactive. The haunted house itself was incredible. Totally worth the $40 a ticket. It was incredibly thought out and very detailed. It wasn't just a haunted house, it was a production. It was also a lot longer than most haunted houses. It was a really great experience and scared my 10 and 11 year old ! It was also my husband's first Haunted House experience ( nothing scares this man and he was so scared. The only thing I don't like is the amount of people we were around and lack of sanitizer. I know we can't completely social distance but personal space at least? The entire experience was definitely "nut to butt" lol. Other than that I was so scared like omg. I'm trying to give a review without telling you everything. We got the general admission and it was worth it. I think we got our moneys worth. It wasn't cheesy at all!!! I recommend coming early like 7:00/7:15 if you get general admission because this place gets packed. We came at 7:30 and I wish I was a little earlier because the parking area is really bumpy and it can be annoying to park, especially if there is mud and puddles. This place looked very small when my group of friends and I went. So we walked in not expecting much as we thought it was small. But boy we were wrong, this house is very lengthy in a good way as all the scares were amazing. They had some scares that were unique(not gonna spoil them). Everyone in there is very professional and just want you to have a good time. The price is certainly reasonable as I went other houses that were more and were a huge let down but this one is worth it and I would totally recommend it to anyone and would go back !!! read more

Great adventure! Really good props and well made fixtures. We paid the VIP rate to avoid the long line and it was worth it! Took my wife and our 11 year old. He was terrified along with his mom. It's good and enjoy the regular line (bit long) but it gets you tense and builds up adrenaline. Make sure to go through the house slowly and enjoy the awesome effects - don't rush so you don't catch up to the group in front :). read more

The haunted house was great. Very original and creative! Some rooms were empty with no actors to scare anyone. I agree with other comments that most of the wooded area was pretty quiet. However, you can definitely see how much time and effort was put into making this place. It went on FOREVER and had so many neat rooms and changes of scenery. My biggest disappointment was all of the mud you have to walk through while you wait to go in and it's even worse as you exit! People were slipping and falling left and right. Most people were in good shoes because who would think to wear rain boots to a haunted house. The actor at the end completely fell flat on his back, and other people in line waiting to go in slipped and fell. Peoples shoes were ruined. One poor girl had mud up to her ankle as we were leaving. They meet to put some hay, gravel or more plywood down! That's a liability for them or someone were to slip and fall and really hurt themselves. read more

I hate it when employees review the business they work for. Secondly, the truth is, this haunted house takes your money and leaves you not even the slightest bit scared. The quality of the indoor asylum was good but not scary. The woods were extremely lackluster where it seemed most of the actors had gone home. Everyone walking out seemed disappointed. Amazing! They definitely scared me and my friends last year. I absolutely loved the look they had, very authentic and had lots of details. Walking throughout the house is scary enough, the lights, smells, and props all give you enough reason to visit them. However, the actors combined with all of those little details make this haunted house well worth a long drive. As much as I loved the experience, I would hate to be truly committed into this psych ward. I will give it 5 stars, yes the actors are great, but once you look inside you will understand why I give them such a high rating, it is definitely movie quality. read more

Awesome effects and great detail/decor... but not so much scare going on! At a haunted house you want to get scared! I can't even watch scary movies usually and I was fine the whole time, maybe jumped 4-5 times... none of which occurred in the woods. The woods were dead! I thought maybe the staff were all on break? I did see 3 staff members/actors just chilling all talking rather than scaring people while in the woods at an area that looked like it had the potential to be pretty scary. Your job is to scare people for a few hours, 5 weekends out of the year... be scary please! For it being Friday night on Halloween weekend and at $30 a pop, I expected SO much more. And when we got off the elevator midway, the staff really slipped up and put our group of 6 in with a group of kids so about 12 of us were clumped together. Ruined any chance of there being an experience. There are so many others in town way more worth it! read more
