We took our 2 grand kids during spring break. The kids enjoyed the animals and riding the horses. Nice afternoon playing in the playground and sand mountain

Very narrow fence, hard to feed animals in some places

Went here with our 15mo old because he is obsessed with farm animals (in books) but has never seen them in person. We rode the train a couple of times, he got a pony ride, and we fed some animals, so overall the trip served its purpose. The cages for some of animals are a little small and are mostly concrete and dirt, so I hope that they get let out into the yard after hours to graze. The horses and deer do have a nice large pasture, but the cows were in tiny enclosures. Feed is $2 per bag, which is fair, but it's kind of hard to feed some of the animals where the fence I holes are so narrow. Staff is all very friendly and there is a swimming pool available for use included in entry fee (with lifeguard). This was nice to cool off afterward because it was SUPER hot outside. Kids under 18mo are free.

Amazing place to take children for a farm experience hands on attractions horse riding, feeding the ducks, deer, and cows the animals looked very healthy the grounds was well kept now it's a farm so it might be some unpleasant smells but it's a farm I enjoyed it!

Pretty easy to find, we originally went on a Saturday it was too crowded! So we came back on a weekday. Just be forewarned they do not enforce wearing masks and honestly I barely saw anyone wearing one but people were social distancing (sort of). Parking is free and the cost is $14 per person. Not bad at all considering kids get a free pumpkin! The farm activities were fun. My kids got to ride the train and play on the swings/playground. When it came time to view the animals to be honest the animals looked sad and pitiful. There was a group of kids there for a field trip who terrorized the poor animals especially the bunnies. Poor bunnies kept running away while loud screaming kids fighting to pick them up! The animals were probably my least favorite out of the farm due to the animals looking pitiful and frankly unhappy (We visited Blessington Farms a few months before much better experience) Kids also get to ride a small horse for free! Again the poor animals looked quite tired and unhappy. I felt bad. Overall it was a fun afternoon for the kids

This place was okay, lots of animals to see but they did not seem well taken care of. Very very small pens for large animals, and they did not have grazing space. They were dirty and seemed sad about conditions. The pumpkin patch was not a pumpkin patch. Small pumpkins set up for photos and they are "only for kids"

This is a really cool farm for kids. It has a lot to offer and tons of animals to see. Large playgrounds, train ride around the property, lots of photo op areas, pony rides, and even a large pool area to swim. Most all the animals were active and fed right out of your hands. My 4 y/o had a great time!

My kids love it here! Careful with the Goats they like to snatch the entire feed bag never fails! I like the upgrades they've done in the last 5 years, small, but very useful! Like the train line/roof the awesome pumpkin patch etc. I just wish there was more shade, specially on the toddler playground. The man that rides the train is such a nice guy! He's been there for as long as I can remember and he's always full of energy and nice to everyone! Over all great place to visit 10/10 my kids wanted me to add that they want the horse rides to be a little longer lol their rating 9/10

Such a cute farm! I came to Old Macdonald's farm with the intention of bringing my daughter to what I thought was a pumpkin patch. The place is an actual farm, with animals for petting..and in addition they do have a small area where there are pumpkins. So definitely don't expect to see the ground covered in pumpkins, the place is primarily a petting zoo. The farm itself was very open, and had two playgrounds. It was a huge open space, and although there were many people the place didn't feel crowded what so ever. They had pony/horse rides, train rides, a barn full of hay and plenty of animals for petting! I would definitely recommend stopping by to visit. However, the line to get in was so long around noon. So, if you have impatient small children I do recommend showing up early. Also, the staff was so friendly and inviting! Love coming to a place where employees are happy and helpful.

All my son said was "bacon". ‍

This is the second year we've come here in May to pick blueberries and blackberries. One of the…read moreworkers said that blueberry season is really a short 4-6 weeks time frame while blackberries are most of the summer. This year 2025, the blueberries are sweet but on the smaller side. The blackberries were not as good as some of them are tart or even sour as some seem to start fermenting? However in 2023 the blackberries were soooo sweet and juicy that even my husband liked them and he usually doesn't like blackberries. Maybe this year just wasn't good for blackberries. :/ The busket (basket bucket) is $1.50 and berries are usually $8-10 per lb but they ran a Memorial Day weekend promo for $4 a lb. We filled up our busket about 2/3 of the way for 2.7 lbs or $11 in blackberries and blueberries! Cheaper than Costco! Although it is a 45 min drive for us. Giant sunflowers were available too but all the wildflowers were picked already. Things to bring: Busket - if you already have one! Sunscreen - protect your skin! Hat - it's sunny! Water and a refill of water - it's HOT and you easily drink through 2 water bottles, plus if you use any to clean your pickings. neck towel / fan - nice to have I would also consider looking for a parking spot in the shade, usually to the left by the Farm Funland. I also put up our cars sunshade which helps too. This time, my 4 yo said her car seat wasn't that hot (whereas she will usually complain if it is), so i think jt worked! We only spent about 1.5 hours though from 1030-12noon, as it was getting really hot and the kiddo was over it. Overall, fun experience and some good berries but do come prepared for the heat!

Also, it gets pretty dusty so if your eyes are sensitive, I'd bring some eye drops. We went on a Friday night and thankfully it wasn't too packed. Parking was free and there was plenty of space in the lot. Getting out wasn't bad at all either. Like what other reviews have stated, the tickets are not cheap ($45 after tax). But I will say, the entire setup of the area is super cute and well decorated. Not only are there so many places for photo ops but there are also a ton of activities for kids. And honestly, even as an adult, my friends and I had a blast- just channel your inner child and go on those rides! There were mini rollercoasters, slides, petting zoos, a firework show, and so much more. Our time slot was 7-10 pm but honestly, I would try to get there earlier (i.e. 5 pm slot) especially if you purchased exclusive attractions (i.e. haunted house, corn maze, etc). With the general admuission tickets, you don't have access to the special attractions but you can purchase them at Dewberry farm- I believe it was $7.99 each. But if you're already set on going to numerous special attractions, just get the whole package online. My friends and I did the Trail of Terror and it took around 20 minutes to compelte and everything was well done! As for food, I know Dewberry Farm has the snack pack available for $15.99 and that covers kettlecorn, lemonade, a cookie, and a snowcone. And honestly, that's pretty worth it because a kettlecorn bag itself was 10.99- it was very yummy btw, my friends and I almost killed the whole bag in one sitting. Overall, my friends and I had a blast and we might make this an annual thing! I believe Dewberry farms also has a Christmas event so we might attend that as well.
