Also, it gets pretty dusty so if your eyes are sensitive, I'd bring some eye drops. We went on a Friday night and thankfully it wasn't too packed. Parking was free and there was plenty of space in the lot. Getting out wasn't bad at all either. Like what other reviews have stated, the tickets are not cheap ($45 after tax). But I will say, the entire setup of the area is super cute and well decorated. Not only are there so many places for photo ops but there are also a ton of activities for kids. And honestly, even as an adult, my friends and I had a blast- just channel your inner child and go on those rides! There were mini rollercoasters, slides, petting zoos, a firework show, and so much more. Our time slot was 7-10 pm but honestly, I would try to get there earlier (i.e. 5 pm slot) especially if you purchased exclusive attractions (i.e. haunted house, corn maze, etc). With the general admuission tickets, you don't have access to the special attractions but you can purchase them at Dewberry farm- I believe it was $7.99 each. But if you're already set on going to numerous special attractions, just get the whole package online. My friends and I did the Trail of Terror and it took around 20 minutes to compelte and everything was well done! As for food, I know Dewberry Farm has the snack pack available for $15.99 and that covers kettlecorn, lemonade, a cookie, and a snowcone. And honestly, that's pretty worth it because a kettlecorn bag itself was 10.99- it was very yummy btw, my friends and I almost killed the whole bag in one sitting. Very neat experience if you never been. My sister set up a weekend outing for the family and kids to see Christmas lights and tractor ride. This place is huge! Make sure you wear your tennis shoes. I didn't get a chance to take a lot of photos but did get one. They have all kinds of activities, playground, rides and food that will keep the kids busy. Just FYI lines for food can get very long but the wait was worth it! From what I was told they do hold other events here and not just Christmas. We've visited Dewberry Farm every fall for several years, and my kids have always looked forward to it. Unfortunately, this year's visit was a real letdown. Many attractions were closed -- including the corn maze and corn pit. Who closes a corn maze during a fall festival‽‽ While a few staff members were friendly and welcoming, several others seemed impatient or downright rude. Around 1 p.m., staff began herding guests like cattle toward the exit, saying the farm was closing soon. Attractions that had been open were shut down abruptly. When we mentioned among ourselves that we thought closing time was 2 p.m., a nearby staff member snapped, "Actually, we close at 1:30." Even after we explained that we had been told 2 p.m., she curtly repeated, "No, it's 1:30." We left feeling disappointed and unwelcome -- a sharp contrast to the fun, family-friendly visits we've had in past years. There was a super long line for women's, and 4 out of 8 of the bathrooms in that area out of order with human waste piled high. Everything is dusty and many attractions have an additional charge. We have come for the Fall Fest and Holiday Lights. We came a day after rain and that was a mess! Wait a few days or wear rain boots. We were weaving in and out of mud the whole time. One ride you couldn't even get in because of all the puddles and mud so people were putting kids over the fence. They have plenty to do and lots of staff to monitor. We haven't tried the food but kids loved the lemonade. We rode almost all the rides and loved the trail of lights. Definitely a must visit for the holidays and all other times as well. There was just an incident that happened on the slide that they closed it down but weren't concerned when my grandson had his pants wet and smelly the whole time we were there. Visited: 11/10/24 | Spent: $12 - Due to procrastination, I waited until the final weekend of the fall festival to drive 1 hour outside of Houston to Brookshire to visit Dewberry on a solo day trip. It was a perfectly sunny day and a smooth drive for midday Sunday. When I arrived there was plenty of parking and no wait line to enter. I noticed there wasn't much security (no bag checking), but plenty of space to lounge about in the mid-70s weather, take photos with the many fall festive props, and grab some snacks at any of the vendors. I opted only to taste the butterbeer (my main reason for visiting). To my delight, it tasted very similar to the butterbeer served at Universal Studios - Orlando: cold, frothy, and sweet! There were A LOT of fall festive activities to explore on the property, and even some barn animals to feed. I'd love to return for their "Berry Merry" Christmas event to see the areas transform into a winter wonderland. I'd also return on a cute date or a family outing, but would be sure to pack a picnic in the car as the food options were a bit pricey, although simple (state fair-like menu). read more

Why 4 stars? Because it was a fun day, but an expensive one. --- --- --- For the first two October's since moving back to the area, we took our son to P6 Farms in Montgomery because we live in Montgomery ourselves. But we got tipped off that Dewberry farm was a much better version, and the tipper was correct. There are probably double the amount of activities here for kids of all ages. You certainly pay for it, though. I don't remember what P6 cost, but 3 tickets for Dewberry came in at $134 after tax, which was a bit of a shock to the system. The nice thing is that once we were in the park, the only things that cost something additional were the pony rides ($8) and face painting, which ranged from about $10-$30, depending on what you wanted. Let's see if I can recall everything we did in a little over two hours: pumpkin photos, playgrounds, many slides, a ferris wheel, a train ride, pony rides, a petting zoo (from the other side of the fence), merry go round type rides, launching balls from a high powered cannon, playing in a giant bed of corn, jumping on a bouncy thing (not sure what these are called, but there are 3 of them and they are massive), face painting and walking through a mini maze. There were also a couple rides we skipped and also some kind of paintball thing we walked by. The wife ordered a turkey leg, but we didn't partake in any food beyond that. So, as mentioned, there's a lot here. 2 hours was more than enough to tire out our nearly 5 year old. We almost never get naps anymore, but he passed out in the car pretty quickly, which means Dewberry Farm did its job. read more

We mainly went for the nighttime Halloween festival. We went to all the haunted attractions. They were fun. Not too scary for little ones. Bring some water. What an epic disappointment. We have been visiting Dewberry Farms annually for almost a decade and witnessed the severe decline of this place the last few years. More than 70% of the attractions are closed on the weekdays for no reason other than a weekend cash grab. This information is not given until arrival. Even the corn maze was closed?! Corn pit closed. All outbuildings closed. All carnival rides closed. Staff was unbelievably rude to children waiting in line to go down the one open slide, refusing to let them in until they stood quietly in a single file line-this is supposed to be fun. They also aggressively attempt to herd people out the door and close the few remaining attractions an hour before their official "close" time. Not worth half the entrance fee or the drive to wander around what is supposed to be an amusement park with all the attractions closed. read more

Berry Merry Christmas 2023. There are 4 time slots to purchase online tix. We purchased the 4pm slot and upon arrival, the majority of booths for food and beverage, including Santa, were NOT open. (See signs below) We found one and they were not prepared to serve customers. We should have packed our own!!! WE...WE made the most of our experience at DF. We stayed for the ride thru the light trail which is great! However, management and employees have zero concern for customer experience and service. It's a shame really, they have local family bloggers marketing this business, the bloggers probably have no idea who they are marketing for and the quality of the experience. We always have a memorable time with the grandkids at Dewberry. They love the hay stack rope, the train, and the other rides. We went during the spring festival and tried to do the egg hunts. What a disaster! Parents were pushing and shoving to get their children as many eggs as possible. Why? The eggs didnt have anything good inside and it was scary dangerous for the kids. This activity needs some thought--no parents allowed and more egg hunts so it isnt so crowded. Also the mini wooden houses have some nails and screws sticking out of them. They need maintenance. There was no wait and Dewberry Farm was not the slightest of crowded. Thet had many booths and stand that were all picture worthy! The time spent was great for the family and some social distancing activities! *** An enormous heads up though knowing that I commented on the "overcrowded" aspect of Dewberry Farm, after leaving at about 2PM, was then that we all saw the lines extremely long and there was no 6FT apart. People were literally back to back in line. Some did not have masks and there were no precautions for Covid-19 in that line. We come throughout the year. From pumpkin picking, ice cream, lots of food, playgrounds, trains, animals and so much more; there is something for everyone! We love that this is an all age friendly place, including a designated toddler/ infant park. The animals are very well taken care of and constantly watched around people and children. Dewberry Farm was such a disappointment. We went last year and it wasn't this bad, but what a waste of money and time. It was overpriced and you can definitely tell that the owners only care about making a profit, not about consumer experience. Here are the things that need improvement. -They sold WAY too many tickets. There should be a limit on how many tickets can be purchased each day, because it was terribly crowded. Expect to wait in line for everything (food, activities, bathroom, drinks, entry, etc.) for at least 10-15 minutes. -The "pumpkin patch" was scarce. Barely any pumpkins left, and several of the ones left were rotting. Yes it's the week before Halloween, but we should have been informed prior to spending $40 per ticket that the availability of pumpkins (at a farm marketing themselves as a fall festival) is incredibly low. -Everything is overpriced. $10 for a glass of wine is absurd, especially when the wine slushy machine is broken. Speaking of things that are broken, the soda machine at the ice cream parlor was also out of order. Why charge so much for entry when you aren't going to use the profits on upkeep of the farm? Again, it comes off as the owners being cheap. -The corn maze was abysmal. The corn stalks were maybe 3-4 feet tall and there was trash all throughout the maze. There's not even an official exit, it just spits you out on the outside edge of the corn maze and you have to walk back along the edge to get back to the rest of the festival. -Overall poor organization. For example, the paintball line was suuuuuper long, and of the 5-6 paintball gun stations, they were only using 1-2 at a time. Absolutely wild decision making from the owners. -The staff seemed hot, understaffed, overworked, and stressed out. I can't blame them--there should have been way more people working for the amount of crowds that were there. -There was litter EVERYWHERE. There was absolutely zero effort to keep the farm looking nice. Dirty diapers in the parking lot, drink cups all over the corn maze, etc. Save your money and spend your time doing literally anything else. read more

Thousands of people, long long lines, no police, no crew, disorganized and old. This is a huge farm and fun for young kids but its ran by very careless team. No running water anywhere, all bathroom faucet are either broken or too old to dispense water. No soap, no toilet paper. If you want to buy water or food, you should expect minimum of one hour or two in line. It took us 45 minutes to just get in and we had bought tickets online. Why don't you guys setup small tents to just sell water? Why people have to stay in line for one hour to buy bottle of water. Crew behind the stands are extremely slow and they look like they hate to be there. No one smiling, no one trying to make your visit memorable. Rides are old and repair numerous times. Some are so dirty that you would know they have never even been cleaned once. My biggest concern is lack of security and active management. There was only two police cars at the door and atleast 5,000 people inside. If something goes wrong here, I expect catastrophic ending. $40 bucks its not much to spend for one ticket but you expect to get minimum amenities like water, food and bathrooms. We've been 2-3 times during the fall, spring break and checked out the Christmas lights thing this past year. If you buy tickets early during their promotion it's not too bad, especially if buying for a family of 5. Not enough shade for when it's hot. Christmas lights were nice, but long wait times to everything. A lot of the go karts were not working and the basketball/baseball area in the back really needs a make-over. The jumping pillow area also needs a face lift. One of the large jumping pillows was not available. So overall just noticed that the whole place is starting to look worn out.
