My 2 year old was free. $2 for a bucket (must use a Froberg's bucket for picking). We bought 2 to share among the 4 of us. We filled both close to the top (close to 6 lbs total). I'm not sure how much it cost per lb since I didn't pay, but i think it was $5/lb. Credit card does incur a 3.99% fee. We also bought some bbq: brisket sandwich, hotdog with turkey sausage and jalapeno sausage, Arizona green tea, bottled water, and 2 sausages to-go (jalapeno pork & deer sausage and regular sausage). It was a lot of food actually for $48. We also bought some baked goods to-go (especially enjoyed the oatmeal cookie, chocolate cookie, and pecan pie) . Cookies were $1.50 each or $12/dz. The medium pie (about 4 servings) was maybe $6-7. Being a Friday, there was not much to do at all because all the rides, games, and food trucks only run on the weekends. I guess it saved us money at least bc everything cost $3-4 (tokens). We still managed to stay 2 hours (it made our 1 hr drive worth it) because we ate the bbq at the shaded picnic tables while my 2 year old played on the playground. It's a small playground, but it had her favorite things- swings, slides, and a tire tower to climb. She had fun. I may go to Blessington for the pumpkin patch this fall (based off reviews), but fruit picking is pretty fun here.

We had the absolute best time at Crocodile Encounters and honestly, we haven't stopped talking…read moreabout it since! We arrived a little early to wander around before the 2pm guided tour, and I'm so glad we did -- it gave us extra time to soak everything in. The guided tour itself was phenomenal. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, answering every question thrown at them with enthusiasm, and they were so warm and great with the kids in our group. You could tell they are truly passionate about what they do, and it made the whole experience that much more memorable. My son about 5 minutes into the tour said he wanted to work there when he grew up. Don't sleep on the gift shop either! For a smaller store, it was seriously impressive -- packed with Wild Republic plushies in every variety, alligator trinkets, shirts, and so much more. Let's just say we didn't leave empty-handed! What also makes this place extra special is the heart behind it. Owner/Operator Chris is deeply involved in the local community, regularly donating to schools and welcoming student field trips. It's rare to find a business that gives back the way they do, and it makes supporting them even easier. A MUST VISIT if you are even within 90 minutes of the facility. 10/10. 5 stars. BIG RECOMMEND.

We are visiting out of state and this stop was a planned visit on our trip! It did not disappoint…read more We did the VIP tour with the feeding and our 10 year old daughter loved it. We saw a lot of crocs and gators which was awesome. We started out with Reagan as our tour guide and then got Mason. Both girls were great! My daughter also loved the baby goats they had that we stopped and saw after. I would say our only complaint was they did not feed the gators very much on their end to show us and they mentioned that they had had a busy day with field trips and were low on chicken. I feel like that could have been better planned so that we got the full experience regardless if there were other tours. Otherwise highly recommend to do the VIP tour vs self guided because the animals definitely know the keepers and are way more active than if you walk around by yourself.

The MacDonald's Farm is conveniently located right off 1960 in Humble, TX. This place has been…read morearound for years and offers a great spot for a family outing. From riding a train around the farm to petting goats to running around on a huge playground, this Farm is an all around good time! Pros: Activities: This place is packed with all types of things to do. There are several animals you can pet (Goats, Llamas, chickens, Cow, pony's and many more. There's a train that goes around the whole farm (included in your admission) and you can ride it as much as you want. They have several spots throughout the facility to reserve for birthday parties . There a HUGE mound of sand for the kids to have fun and a big playground. Plenty of places to take great photos! Location: I dread the words "It's off 1960" because this stretch of road has horrible traffic and some spots are not the best areas to be around but this spot is an excellent location. For all my golf folks, Tour 18 is right across the street ‍ Cons: Price: For a family of four (includes a 16 month old) we paid $80.00 plus food for animals for a total of $89.00. I know everything has gone up recently but I was a little blown away by this price. I would've expected a little more animals to pet or even some outdoor games to make up for this amount. Parking: Get here early or you will be parking in the "additional" parking spot which is a mowed field. Nothing against a mowed field but it isnt close so be ready to walk a little. Overall we will come back again this year since our kids had a blast!! If you're in the area give this farm a try.
