Visited Froberg's on Friday, Jan 6. The strawberries were abundant and very fresh…read more $5 per person for admission. My 2 year old was free. $2 for a bucket (must use a Froberg's bucket for picking). We bought 2 to share among the 4 of us. We filled both close to the top (close to 6 lbs total). I'm not sure how much it cost per lb since I didn't pay, but i think it was $5/lb. Credit card does incur a 3.99% fee. We also bought some bbq: brisket sandwich, hotdog with turkey sausage and jalapeno sausage, Arizona green tea, bottled water, and 2 sausages to-go (jalapeno pork & deer sausage and regular sausage). It was a lot of food actually for $48. We also bought some baked goods to-go (especially enjoyed the oatmeal cookie, chocolate cookie, and pecan pie) . Cookies were $1.50 each or $12/dz. The medium pie (about 4 servings) was maybe $6-7. Being a Friday, there was not much to do at all because all the rides, games, and food trucks only run on the weekends. I guess it saved us money at least bc everything cost $3-4 (tokens). We still managed to stay 2 hours (it made our 1 hr drive worth it) because we ate the bbq at the shaded picnic tables while my 2 year old played on the playground. It's a small playground, but it had her favorite things- swings, slides, and a tire tower to climb. She had fun. I may go to Blessington for the pumpkin patch this fall (based off reviews), but fruit picking is pretty fun here.

We always have so much fun when we go to Froberg's Farm. Piggy races, train ride, bounce pad,…read morepetting zoo, strawberry picking, the list goes on with activities. My kiddo has a blast running around the massive play area too. I love getting fresh produce and eggs. We love meeting up with friends and spending an afternoon there. The food truck vendors are a bit pricey but you get a lot of food and it's pretty good.

I'm honestly really disappointed with this specific experience at Water Stone Ranch…read more First, the bathrooms are absolutely unacceptable. Both the one in the back and the one near the cars were extremely dirty every time we've visited. There was liquid all over the floors (and honestly, I really hope it was just water), used tissues everywhere, no soap available, and the paper towel dispenser was jammed. The tiles were cracked and filled with dirt and what looked like urine, and the sinks were filthy. This has been the case every visit, which shows serious lack of maintenance. Second, the management was extremely unprofessional. The employees themselves were actually great, friendly and polite, but the owner's behavior was shocking. When we arrived, we saw multiple groups with outside food and drinks, including full boxes of pizza and other meals, coolers, and more. There was no clear signage or policy stating that outside food or drinks weren't allowed. If that is a rule, it needs to be clearly communicated, not enforced by embarrassing guests. Overall, between the consistently filthy bathrooms and the rude, unpredictable management, this place was a very negative experience. The staff was kind, but unfortunately that doesn't make up for everything else. I hope they improve someday.

It was hard to find at first because there is no large sign or instructions on how to get to the restaurant. You will have to drive through gravel and maybe pot holes. When I reached the destination I parked and there's an area with hanging lights up above and once you walk further the restaurant is there. There's also a playground for kids. It looks like they would be limited on parking. I don't recommend coming here after it rains your shoes will get muddy. The server is very friendly and explains everything. The breakfast is unlimited at $25 per person. It reminded me of a charcuterie board but you know Turkish style. It's an outdoor restaurant so if you prefer to eat inside this is not the place for you. With outdoor eating you have the weather, views, and insects-flies and bees. The experience is worth it though. It is more of a hang out spot though.
