Unfortunately, my vehicles have come across nails or random screws from driving around. Every single time I've needed help with a flat or leaking tires, Mavis has been my go to. They are easy to locate and are super fast with their work. The several times that I have been there, they seem to be really great with their customers. The pricing isn't too bad either and they don't try to sell you unnecessary work. You can schedule appointments or walk in. If you need extra assurance to have speedy service, go in early or as close to their opening time (8am). I went early and decided to walk around the corner to grab a quick breakfast from the deli... by the time i was done and back, my car was waiting for me. I'm not entirely sure how their other services are but I would highly recommend them for fixing your tires. The one and only thing that I would change is that they fill your newly fixed tire to match your other tires' air pressure. Other than that, theyre wonderful! Thanks to the guys at Mavis!

I figured it happens, no biggie. I asked if they could replace a headlight and if they had the bulb. Yes and yes. I made the appt. Then I got there... They were more concerned with joking around than helping customers. When I was helped, not a critical thinking brain cell to be found. I sat there for 30 min before asking for an ETA. I was told the delivery guy would be here in 10 min or so. "I was told you had the bulb." "Oh, we do, but [the lady working the counter] figured he would bring another on his delivery." "Ok... is there any reason NOT to use the one you have? I'm not looking to wait around for a part that's already here." "No, that should be fine." What? Next time I'll go to Auto Zone or O'Reilly's. These guys might be fine for tires but don't go here for anything else. OH. And they charged me more than DOUBLE what I would have paid Auto Zone or O'Reilly's. Lesson learned.

In July of 2016 the transmission failed in my 2003 Mercury Sable. This wasn't a shock since it was…read morea 13 year old American car but it did put me in a quandary. Should I spend 2K on a used car I knew nothing about or put that money into I car I loved and knew it's complete history. I had some misgivings but decided to have the transmission rebuilt. It turned out to be a wise decision. I'm posting this now because I just came across the receipt. That rebuilt transmission is now 3 years and 3 months old (It was warranted for 12 months or 12,000 miles) and both it and the car are still going strong. I do recall that Consumers Transmission was easy to work with, had the car done when they said they would and they even came in slightly less than my original quote. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat.
