Our 2009 Mercedes Benz started making horrific noises while in Poughkeepsie on a road trip up from FL. Joe and Mainly Benz Service did an absolutely INCREDIBLE job (and at a very reasonable price) diagnosing the problem on short notice (he said "bring it over first thing tomorrow morning and we'll have a look at it!") and replacing the a/c compressor the very next day even though, understandably for such a great Mercedes Benz repair shop, there were no service appointments available for the next several weeks. In short, Joe and Mainly Benz Service came to our rescue and in a very big way (with tremendous honesty and integrity). This is a FIRST CLASS Mercedes Benz repair shop in every way that can easily rival the best Mercedes Benz dealership or service center. We only wish Joe and Mainly Benz Service had another location closer to where we live in FL because we would never go anyplace else after the terrific service we received at Mainly Benz Service!!! read more

The most trustworthy and efficient MB mechanics in the entire Hudson Valley. While my vehicle isn't as complicated as a contemporary Mercedes-Benz, there is a lot of special knowledge required to work on a W123 from almost 40 years ago. I wouldn't trust anywhere else to bring the car. read more

The wiper mechanism on my '91 Mercedes 300 G-Wagen detached from the motor. An appointment was made 2 weeks ahead (they are very busy) offering a while-you-wait repair. Over a 2-hour period they were able to recover the detached nut and re-affix it working through the quite small motor-installation hole under the hood. The alternative was to remove the instrument panel. They charged just one hour of labor, that's all, kept me informed throughout and were very pleasant. Very impressed. read more

I've been driving two older, high-mileage Mercedes E-class cars for the past 8 years, and kept them regularly maintained at Mainly Benz. Joe Maier is an expert, completely trustworthy, very friendly and personable, and I've never had a problem with the quality of their work. I can stop by with minor small problems with my car (like an oil cap I didn't put on tight enough, or a Check Engine light on) and Joe has always looked at it right away, diagnosed the problem correctly, and often fixed it right on the spot. At the other end of the spectrum, I have complete confidence that Joe and his staff can handle even the most complicated or difficult repairs. Joe's had my E350 4Matic running for more than 205000 miles. I'll be in the market for a replacement car in the next few years and will stay with Mercedes just to keep a trusted mechanic and good friend. read more

Joe did a great job on my car. I had him take a second look at my vehicle after the dealership recommended I do some transmission work. Not trusting the dealership I decided to take it to Joe. He said the vehicle's Transmission issue was not severe enough to repair it, so he recommended waiting and monitoring it through routine service. I had him do a regular A service, and he went above and beyond. I look forward to taking my car there again. read more

My dashboard informed me that my tires had low pressure, especially since cold weather had set in. I tried to do it myself at a Stewarts ( only free air around) but to no avail. A friend mentioned Midas on RT. In Wappingers. I went, walked in and pointed to the sign about low tire pressure. I said " I have that". I was quickly directed to bay 6, and a very nice young man came out in the bitter cold, added air and set my tires at the right pressure. That was just so nice. Thank you for the best customer service I've had anywhere in a long time. read more
