I received roadside service from Redline and it was excellent from start to finish. My tow driver Angel was prompt, courteous, professional and very cheerful. He made you feel comfortable by his demeanor and his love for helping people. He loves what he does and it showed. He was very respectful and concerned of loading and unloading my vehicle and that in itself was a plus for me. Some companies out here just throw chains around and drop your vehicle down like it's nothing. Had the most amazing experience with Redline towing this evening. My car broke down on the Indiana toll road. I contacted the Audi assist line and was connected with Redline they were amazing our driver was able to get to us within 15 minutes and was so helpful and accommodating. STAY AWAY. Will absolutely leave you stranded. Waited 4 hours for them to show up. Kept saying that they were 15 minutes away. 30 minutes away. Then it was that the truck was broken and they were working to fix it. Then it was they were getting another truck. Then it was It is a busy night and they can't give an estimate. Horrible customer service, they picked up my vehicle at 4:30pm I messaged them at 8:50pm to see if my vehicle had been dropped off at the destination I assigned it to. This was their response, (picture attached) after attempting to contact the company and the driver my calls were ignored, I had to call my insurance company to get a hold of Redline. They were extremely rude to him as well and said they didn't know where my vehicle was to call back in 1 hour. How do you not know where a customers vehicle is? After I had to pay an extra $105.00 for the tow and you lost my vehicle! If I'm paying an extra $105 on top of what I paid my insurance for the tow I would expect my vehicle to go directly to its location and not get lost on other calls along the way. For me to have to contact the company to see where is my vehicle and for them to have no clue where it's at and then to be ignored. It's unbelievable. Terrible service. Go assigned for roadside service they gave me an estimated range for when they would arrive and a link to track progress. They showed up more than an hour after the latest estimate. In the interim the tracking app and the chat feature kept telling me they were 7 or 2 minutes away. Completely useless. I called their phone number multiple times and they did not answer. When they did answer they told me they were looking at the GPS and the truck is 5 mins away. It showed up 20 mins after that. They need to stop lying to their customers. read more

i have never seen a tow company get to me as fast as redline, i was stuck in the snow storm and my car wasn't starting tried to get a jump and didn't work, i let them know that it was urgent and i was stuck in the snow and they came by in less than 15 minutes! i really appreciate their service and would recommend for anyone in the chicagoland area! read more

They were suppose to pick up my car on a Monday and take it to the auto body shop in my town. Instead they picked it up on a Friday and said they were going to store it until Monday. I didn't think that was a good idea but they said they do that all of the time and that it was fine with my insurance company since this was an insurance claim. I did not call these people it was someone that my insurance company hired that gave it to them. They held my car for 6 days so that they could charge my insurance company for storage. I thought they had brought it to the auto body shop on Monday! When I called them about it they said they were holding my car because they didn't get payment from the insurance company which was a lie. They stole my owners manual out of my car and I later found out that you can get $112 on e-bay for my owners manual and that people steal manuals out of peoples cars to get the vin off of the manual and claim that it is their car and get new keys made from the manufacturer for your car and then come to your house and steal your car. BEWARE OF THESE CROOKS!!!!! They have 3 one star reviews for a reason. They should be out of business. read more

this company was assigned via roadside service. the driver picked up the car, drove to the dealership (part of the contract with the auto maker), and then drove away. he never got out of the truck. there's camera footage proof. he then drove back to the lot and told them that the dealership rejected the car. after hearing this, i was also told that they were calling my insurance. they didn't have my insurance information, and the only way to find it was to rifle through the car, which, later i found out, they did. the dealership, when called to find out why the car was rejected, said they don't have the authority to reject a vehicle. they called the tow company. who then said that they would not return the car to the dealership without another road side claim started. fine. done. and now i had to pay out of pocket for the new distance to the dealership that was expecting it. and only after this transaction was complete, literally 2 minutes, probably after they got the request, the tow company called and "james" told me they were returning the car for free and NOT CHARGING FOR STORAGE. um. what? i called around 11:30am when this all started to find out what was going on. the vehicle was picked up around 9am. the dealership, about 8 miles from the tow yard, didn't get the car until almost 5pm. the tow driver, or yard employee(s), rifled through the interior my vehicle and stole my tow hooks from the spare kit out of the trunk (which was left out in the trunk). when called on this, i was told they weren't needed and did i check the whole car. i did. they are nowhere to be found. why would they be missing if they weren't even needed? if your roadside assistance sends this tow company to help you - tell them you want another. or get AAA, like i am, so i can pick and choose who touches my vehicle. read more
