About a year ago my wife and I decided to look into back up generator power. Our community experiences quite a few power outages in the summer. We called several companies in the valley including Red Line. Gavin with Red Line stopped by and discussed options with us. He was professional and was able to answer all our questions. He was more than willing to accommodate some unusual requests by me. The price quoted was well within our budget and more than fair. Other companies were almost double in price. Fast forward 11 months, Generac generators are on back order, we received our generator. Gavin was quick to get us on the schedule. Gavin and John came out the day before to coordinate the install. With a plan in place they got to work. Everyday I received updates via text and email. John or Ron were on time everyday and worked diligently to get this done quick. Both Ron and John proved to be true professionals in the trade. They communicated throughout the entire project with my wife to minimize down time and impact which allowed her to work from home with zero hiccups. They were both polite when they spoke with her. The site was cleaned up daily. The install, commission and test are complete and I couldn't be happier. Start to finish they hit all the marks. They are great salespeople. The explanation of what they would do to remove and replace my solar panels, correct any issues and to be sure it was running a peak efficiency sounded exceptional. Unfortunately, that's not how they performed. I discovered they were overpriced, added 3k to the bill for replacement parts (wire and plastic connecters) and said when they were done, all was working well. According to SRP, it wasn't. No power being produced and the inverter needed to be replaced at $4500 more. Had it done by a reputable company for $2485.00. Stay far away for this company. read more

I utilized Redline for my home inspection. They're overpriced for the services they provide. I was charged $300/hr. only for them to tell me the solar is working but the inverter is end of life. I asked for a discount or I'd take my business elsewhere. They said there's nothing they can do. So I'll take my business elsewhere. Don't use them for quotes or inspections. Stay Away! $200.00 an hour, Two hour minimum. On a regular 40 hour week that is well over 400k a year per individual. Why would anybody in their right mind pay this? I used Redline to inspect the solar system on a home I was looking at to purchase in Goodyear Az. They charged me 600 dollars to do the inspection. They told me everything was working and the original installation company was out of business. I believed them. After buying the home and moving in I discovered, using APS app, that the solar was not producing. I talked to Redline a few times and was told I needed to talk to manufacturer of the inverter. SolarEdge told me how to connect to the inverter wireless. That told me the inverter was in "night mode". SolarEdge told me I needed to have an installer look at it. I called Redline back and he said he'd have their main installer call me back. I never heard from them again. I called Argent Solar, recommended by the HOA, and was told by them that they installed the system and the inverter was under warranty. They came out the same day, took the information they needed, and contacted SolarEdge to have a new inverter sent out. Basically I wasted 600 dollars and when I called them to say I had a problem they couldn't be bothered. If you don't mind being lied to you can use Redline, but I wouldn't recommend them. I bought an electric car in 2018. I was charging by using an adapter to plug my EVSE into a 110-volt outlet. This sometimes tripped my circuit breaker since the car pulls so much current. I called Redline on a Thursday to find out about putting in a 240-volt circuit. By the next Tuesday, they had it done. The price was reasonable, the technician was on-time (very important when we have to get on with the day) and everything works perfectly. My car charges far faster now. But even better, no more tripped circuit breakers! read more

This is the second time I have used Redline Electric and both experiences were exceptional. This occurrence was really smooth, I am in the process of selling my home and there were a few issues on the inspection report that needed to be addressed. Redline Electric asked for the report and went thru electrical issues that were addressed, even found one that was not on the required repairs list and fixed it with a minimal charge. They scheduled the repairs in a timely manner and the service tech showed up on time and was very professional. He even made sure the face plate screws were aligned vertically!! Just the way all my screws are aligned. I had new smoke/co2 detectors installed in the bedrooms and made sure they were synchronized, also the proper install. Their quotes were fair, electricians were honest and I never doubt for a minute I'm dealing with anything other than a credible organization doing things the right way. Very impressed with their knowledge about solar. Finding a true solar company in Phoenix can be a bit of a challenge. When I called around to different solar companies, most of them are nothing more than sales groups who write the contracts then sell them out to a bigger company to actually work with you. Not sure about their service, but a guy driving a truck with Redline logo all over it put lots of people in danger. He was going about 85 mph, swerving in and out of lanes with no signal, cutting people off and had no regard to the publics safety. If you need an electric company in Phoenix, this is the company to call. They had an emergency line that answered because of the time of night I needed help. They were able to help me see the issue wasn't as bad as I had thought. So I was able to call them out during regular hours to fix up our mess. After these Monsoon storms, there are power outages all the time, My tree had hit some electrical boxes on the side of house and I needed help, fast! They did everything and were super professional along the way. Great work over there Redline Electric! If there were one suggestion I have, it would be to text me when you're on the way. Redline Electric is AWFUL. They cut so many holes in our ceilings and walls it looked like Swiss cheese. We found beer cans on the premise while they were working and they left insulation all over the house even though they know we have small pets. Absolutely awful, dishonest, company that does terrible work. AVOID AT ALL COST. You will not be the exception. read more

My kitchen florescent tube lights went out and we have those lights on for everything. I gave Redline Electric a call and Josh was very helpful and they came out and installed some brand new LED tubes instead. The installer even called and was able to make it to my house earlier than planned which worked out great. We purchased a ceiling fan from a home improvement store and used their installation service. Redline was dispatched and Gavin did an excellent job installing it. As it turns out, the existing old fan had not been properly centered in a confined space and he had to move the ceiling box (no extra charge). Impressed with this work, we obtained an estimate to do some outdoor electrical light work which involved extensive trenching by hand and dealing with a root system from large trees that had been removed. Extremely disappointed. Solar panels are on the house but here we are 16 weeks later and we still don't have a running system. Yard was left a mess after installation. No communication. No straight forward answers. Job not done and no one is able to tell us when it will be. If I thought I could get them taken down and go with a different company I absolutely would.
