Recently I had Case Electric over to my home to install some exterior lighting and they explained the process prior and were so nice. They sent me pics of the before and after. John Jr. of G4 Electric came out because half of the electricity in my OLD house wasn't working…read more He promptly located the problem, and advised us that the issue could be coming from the city incoming power supply - not the power on our side. He was VERY honest and even called the city for us to make sure. It turned out he was right - and the city fixed the problem quickly. (Another electrician told us we needed to have the whole panel replaced at a cost in the thousands of dollars.) G4 Electric is a refreshing surprise in a world filled with gougers and rip-off artists. John Jr. was honest to a fault, humorous, patient, and engaging. He was also not shy about explaining things thoroughly. I believe John Jr. is a 3rd generation electrician and his son is one as well (hence the G4 name). Rest assured that G 4 Electric will be taking care of all our electrical needs from here on out and I'll soundly recommend them to others I know who need electrical help.

Avoid this company at all costs. The owner has no idea what he's doing. Completely clueless. I…read moredon't even know how he got a license. Customer service is nonexistent. Work is sloppy. Owner never takes responsibility for anything. His first reaction to any criticism is that it's not his fault. Before even taking a look at a problem or considering a complaint. Employees flat out lie. Told me work was done that wasn't. Told me things were fixed that were not. A few months after construction was complete we had a heavy rain and a large sinkhole developed destroying half of a limestone patio. Turns out it was right at the point where the plumbers connected the sewer line and failed to properly compact 5 feet of backfill. Washed out an entire corner of our structure underneath our footings. When I brought this to the owners attention, guess what? Completely denied responsibility and told me I should've compacted his 5 foot deep trench myself after they had filled it in. Again, has no idea how construction works. Run away from this company as fast as you possibly can. Absolutely nothing good going on here.
