Being charged over $30,000.00 and not having anything that was supposed to be done working properly. I took the car to another garage and had him look at the car without telling him what was supposed to be done. When he looked at it he went through several items that nick claimed were done right and he verified that they weren't done right. The second garage was totally independent in that he wasn't doing this to work on the car but a favor to me. I will now take the car to another garage that the second mechanic recommended and see how much more it is going to cost me. Long and short of it I have or had a (warranty) on the work and if I wanted to let nick continue to get the work done right, judging how long it takes when I did take the car back to him I might never drive the car again. And it still wouldn't be done properly. Nick, I think you know who I am and if you want to give me a call please do. Turns out the converters were fine, sensor turned off on its own. The sensor light was the result of bad gasoline, once that cleared out the light went off. We researched failures of catalytic converters and the failure rate on modern cars. This is a rare event according to the major manufacturer of converters. We were really disappointed in this very expensive recommendation, as this business had great reviews.
