We went on 4/12/26 at around 6pm and my friend met me there 10min prior, so when i got there the waiter came to us and ask if we were ready to order i said give me a minute cause i had just sat. it was 701 and he never came back , i notice that the other waiter was helping others but nobody came to our table again so we left. there was a lot of people for 1 waiter, 1 check out person. I really wanted to try this place because it was recommend by friends. but not with this service. Thank you read more

The food was good but the female server was not in a good mood or in a mood to help. While waiting for a good while we got up to get our own to go container and walked up to pay. She doesn't even give you a receipt just your total to pay, which at that point we just needed to leave after waiting. It's a shame when the food is good but the service makes you not want to return. read more

Great food it is a go to spot for fried rice and other things on the menu are great as well however the costumer service has been good up until today. A new server that I had was a lady and she gave horrible service and was lousy overall. She made me basically serve myself when I asked for a water and a container she told me I can go get it myself. I will not be coming back. read more

The food was really good! I love the flavor of the tonkotsu ramen! Thick and creamy! I also like how they cook their tofu. Service was okay! The place has a night club kind of vibe to it, loud music, good for hanging out with friends! One of us asked for extra noodles and they are very very generous! Almost filled to the brim! Good food and good times! Appreciate the service and awareness. Was very helpful and very patient with our party. Thanks Jayden!

When you walk in, your customer service really depends on who is at the front. At first we had a girl who wasn't as friendly (not mean or rude. Could tell she was just ready to clock out lol) The next person to help us was very helpful & friendly. Overall customer service was a 7/10 Food, was really good! We will be coming back most definitely for the ramen The broth was very flavorful, I'd recommend upgrading the noodles though. Still great they just remind me of spaghetti noodles. The only thing I didn't like from my bowl was the tofu, it was too salty for me. I asked if I could get plain tofu instead but they told me the tofu comes pre seasoned. Which was fine they were able to get the tofu taken off the bill & my bowl was really good without it! My kids and my spouse really enjoyed their bowl & definitely left full & happy. I love taking my family out for ramen because you don't get that gross overly stuffed feeling. You leave feeling perfectly satisfied The manager was great! Look forward to coming back read more

Food was amazing 10/10, But service on the other hand complete opposite the lady at the front seems miserable and hates her job. Our table was dirty we asked for a rag to clean it off she never gave it to us so I got up and grabbed it myself. Terrible service, Amazing food. read more

70 dollars for two ramens and two orders of gyozas is kind of insane. Especially since the food wasn't even that good imo. The dumplings come already saturated on the soy sauce. I got the miso "just right" spice and the broth was good but the yellow noodles were okay, and the egg was cold. For 70$ I'd expect the food to be extraordinary sad to say it was just okay. The outside seating is very nice tho I will say that! And another inconvenience is they're a card only establishment. read more

Two stars because their broth is really yummy....but..... Ordered Vegan Ramen with chicken broth and added an egg and then a beef ramen extra spicy with two hard boil eggs, he asked for beef was told he got an extra protein, so he asked for extra beef. The (very nice) man told him no problem. What we got: chicken broth with noodles, fried onions and green onions and our paid for egg. Beef broth I think, noodles and then the two extra eggs, No beef, No meat at all... Spicy edamame. $50 I called to let them know that the beef ramen had no protein in it and he said it's in the broth so extra protein juice is squeezed into the broth? So irritating. I called to have them make it right and they said the order was made right. Let me tell you- their broth is delicious...but communication and what you actually get for the price just doesn't add up. read more

Food was amazing ! I had the best waiter his name is Mario, definitely recommend coming here when he's working !

The food was great, the noodles stick with the rich broth that most other ramen places fail to do so. The ambience is very unique for a ramen shop, nevertheless comforting. Not to mention the music taste is right up my alley. My server Jayden provided very good recommendations with detailed information on each base. I was not disappointed in my selection! Thank you Jayden. I was not expecting to be this satisfied with my visit. I will definitely come back and recommend my friends to this place. read more

This is pretty solid ramen. I have no complaints on the taste just wish it was served hotter. I ordered the vegan broth with yellow noodles and tofu with corn and egg add-ons. I wish they offered a creamy vegan broth, but the vegan ramen is pretty enjoyable. Service was alright, there was just one guy working the entire lobby so I understood the wait time. This place has an open kitchen with a seating bar attached and an opening in the middle where you can pick up your order. Oddly, they did not provide me with a number or a receipt or even yelled out the order when it was ready, so I just had to keep checking. The guy at the front was quick to pack my order though, but I will admit it was a little sloppy to where some of the chili oil spilled in the bag. Not my favorite ramen spot in terms of flavor or ambiance, but still not bad. read more

The Ramen is tasty but edamame was really terrible. We each ate one pea pod and when then asked it be taken off the bill- The server was told by his manager that the best they could do was "refund half on future credit". It was beyond gross- they fried it and covered in pepper, it was greasy, soggy and overcooked. Plastic cutlery, tiny bar napkins, you grab and fill your own room temp water, grab your own to go bags, and are still asked to tip (which we did because it's not the waiters fault the owners went cheap) read more

Off the top. This place charges too much for what you get. For all the "add-ons" that would normally come with ramen it costs about $20. I wanted to try Japanese pork but @ 9$ and no assurance of what it is, I passed. It was average ramen, nothing super special to talk about. Broth is definitely good but I think I should have done some more spice. With one cook doing everything it took a while for me to get the food. Inside has a hip art setting with music. I probably will not be going back since I can't find a reason why I should. read more

I don't know what happened to the quality from the last time my family came. We ordered the Tonkotsu ramen and it was watered down and very bland. I literally had to add a ton of soy sauce and chili oil just to make it taste half way decent. Outrageously overpriced as well 3 bowls and a fountain drink ran us 64 dollars! Wouldn't recommend coming anymore, it's not worth your money! read more

To the lady that made the fried rice with hair in it... leave the kitchen. Ever heard of a hairnet?

Not sure why the low ratings? Loved the ramen! Simply classic Japanese ramen! Noticed plenty of reviews were low thanks to seating and prices. It's still COVID era (no it didn't just up and walk away, although that'd be nice), so businesses are still transitioning towards normalcy! Seating inside is scarce currently, but there's still plenty of room in the outdoor patio. Prices are high, yes, but it's still competitive with other genuine Japanese ramen spots I've been to. Anyways, enough on that... on to the food! Ordered classic ramen tonkotsu with pork chashu. At least, I meant to get regular pork chashu which I thought was Japanese pork, but Japanese pork was not at all what I was going for. My mistake. Japenese pork consists of huge chunks of meat which was a bit dry for my taste. Just not my cup of tea, but also my fault for not simply asking. Next time ordering the regular pork for that classic chashu experience. Got mild spice broth with add-ons seaweed, naruto, egg, and ginger. Yummyyyyyy!!! Broth was absolutely amazing and didn't disappoint - which, imo, is THE most important thing in Japanese ramen. Besides the ramen itself. And the egg perfectly soft boiled. And besides the thin, delicious pork chashu. You get the idea. Anyways, fantastic ramen and definitely coming again. Yes, it's pricey - but beats eating cheap, knock-off Japanese ramen. And for the price being a few dollars more expensive than its competitor, Kaz Ramen (won't be surprised if they're somehow related.. good way or bad), rather stay local and not wait for a few hours! This place serves authentic Japanese ramen, has quick service, and plenty seating outside unless you're picky about scenery. Great spot for families, friends, and a date night! Highly recommended spot!! Excited that we now have a local, authentic ramen spot! Especially with the gas prices these days... read more

We opted to take our family to Redlands Ramen for hanging out and getting yummy eats after a long afternoon attending our daughter's commencement at Loma Linda. To ensure our party could be accommodated, before the event my husband and I drove to the restaurant to make a reservation. He spoke specifically with Edgar who promised he would be there and will be ready to and waiting for our party of 12 people ready that evening. We arrived with our famished group, only to find out that Edgar was not there, nor did he communicate anything to his team about us! Isabel did her best, and though they worked hard the kitchen was clearly unprepared to feed our group size in a timely manner. There were issues of all sorts: the tables were not arranged or cleaned, the soup was lukewarm for several orders. My husband's order was hastily prepared; no cutlery appropriate for slicing the premium pork so guests struggled biting into it. It was nice being seated outdoors but as the time passed it started becoming chilly and it would've been nice to hang out longer had there been heaters for the comfort of guests. The food was great but it would've been enjoyed more if the soup was not lukewarm. The most disappointing part which dampened our experience and left much to be desired was Edgar's failure to communicate the reservation to the team. I think we would've been accommodated well if the team was given a heads up about our large group. read more

Found this place on Yelp. I was looking for nearby spot to take my boyfriend and get a quick bite to eat. We loved it! Delicious and it was everything you'd expect from a typical ramen restaurant. One downfall was that the soda machine had a lot to offer but only the coke fountain worked. Also, flat water was available but to my dismay, no ice tea. The murals aligning the walls was interesting and had a cool vibe. Music was on point. If you're looking for a place that has elevator music or pop hits, this may not be your place. Glad to see something fresh established in Redlands. Cool place and will definitely be back. Friendly staff and helpful with menu choosing. Parking is abundant. read more

I really enjoy the food here--the ramen is flavorful. The issue I keep running into is consistency. I often pay extra for additional toppings, but several times they've been missing from my bowl, including on my most recent visit. It's frustrating because I don't mind paying for the extras, I just want to actually receive them. The ramen itself keeps me coming back, but I hope the attention to detail improves, especially given the cost. read more

The ramen itself is good broth and noodles were super good the pork in it was way overcooked n superrr chewy but still okay. What was awful was the service and edamame. The edamame didn't come til after we finished our ramen and it tasted rotten completely even looking at it it was pale green and wilted. We even mentioned this to our server when she asked if everything was okay and said we did not touch it after one bite we still had to pay for it. Also at check out she mentioned how we never got our drink we ordered and asked "You guys never got your apple juice do you want me to take it off the bill" .... i mean at least she mentioned it because we completely forgot about it but obviously? read more

If you've gone to either Kaz Ramen in Grand Terrace or Saku Ramen in Riverside, you should know what to expect from here because it's virtually the same. I know ramen shops don't tend to vary too much as is, but yeah the menus are literally exactly the same except this place is new and some options aren't available yet. The direction of interior design of this place is pretty the same as the other places I've mentioned. Hip, trendy, meme-type art. Since the menu is the same, the ramen is also overpriced for the quality. It's okay ramen, pretty typical but I've had better for cheaper. The service fine, the food came out fast actually. A lot faster than expected, but I'm not sure if that speaks well of the quality if it came out so fast. There's no seated dining either outside or inside yet. At least this location is in a nicer area than the Grand Terrace location. I'm just a bit disillusioned that this was just another of the same place with a different name. I'm perplexed at why these places have different names when they're like franchises of same restaurant. read more

I had higher hopes for a local Redlands business that seems to be popular in the area. I ordered the pork tonkatsu ramen with corn topping i didn't order anymore toppings as the pricing was on the higher side. I ended up receiving my ramen with the corn and an added egg anyway which i did not mind the extra topping but the egg itself seemed a bit dried out/not as fresh or soft. The pork chasu was cooked way too long for my liking, I've had excellent chasu that is soft and breaks apart in your mouth, this chasu was more chewy, and fried up. It reminded me of chicharron (fried pork dish) This may be a stylistic choice but i'm not a fan of its execution personally The servers were diligent as busy as it is but I'd have to stick to other ramen spots such as Ramen Koko. This restaurant seems to be more crowded as far as spacing goes and bar focused, still might be a good spot to take a date for a drink. The murals were amazing as well :) 3.5/5 read more

Redlands Ramen earned a 1 star review, but I'm giving it 2 stars because many Yelpers think 1 star reviews only come from underachievers that somehow felt personnally wronged by an eatery. So read this and know, Redlands Ramen earned only 1 star and I write this so you might pay attention to this review. On entry this early Wednesday afternoon, we were told to sit anywhere and the handed a set of very tattered and sticky laminated menus. Further, the two house ramen bowls did not even mention the price (waiter, when asked, noted $25 and $22). As a first impression, not good. Walking to a place to sit, I noted the primary bar back decorations were empty beer bottles, and some looked like they had been there awhile. Not a good impression. Next I noted the filthy area near the back where a white door was only partly white from the knob up, and filthy dirty from the knob to the floor. This area housed a soda fountain apparently. Filth, not a good impression. The place smelled of disenfectant, but it did not look like it was used much. Not a good impression. The restroom was locked and in the hour we were there, nobody came out. Clearly, staff was limiting access. The female waiter that came after we arrived clearly saw I wanted to use the facility, but ignored me. I'm not going to ask a waitstaffer if I can use the restroom. Not a good impression. We reluctantly decided to stay, and waited abour 20 minutes for three bowls of ramen to arrive. That seems looooong given only three other tables with customers at the time, two of which had already ordered or were eating when we arrived. The ramen was ok, but their spice scale is off from the competition. If you decide to go, you might want to consider ordering one level down from your normal ramen heat level. The spoons at the table are cheap plastic spoons with very sharp edges. Jeeze, how much would it take to get washable asian soup spoons? Lastly, no check ever came. We ended up walking towards the door and the waitress perked up and checked us out. While checking out, I noted a sign about a couple dollar surcharge on dishes with eggs...not sure if we got hit with that hidden upcharge or not, but it should have been posted on the door just like the "No cash accepted" sign on the door. Not a good look for customers that prefer to pay in cash. The lunch tab for three was nearly $90, which might be ok for a 5 star eatery, but not at this place. So two stars is waaaay generous and, as explained, is intended to get others to take this review seriously. read more

Waited over 45 minutes for our food not to be ready when asked if it was close to being finished they haven't even started the order nor had any idea of us ordering. Terrible service to say the least, we figured we would get our food faster considering there were only 2 other customers at the time. I strongly suggest going to a different ramen place. read more

The first two times we came to dine in the food was fantastic. But when we ordered to go I had asked for my ramen to have no spice. When we got home it turns out they gave me spice but I didn't complain since I thought it was a simple mistake. Well we came back today 3/05/25 for take out and yet again they gave me spice. I tried calling them but the phone line was busy and I tried calling two hours later with no luck. There is no email to contact them. Delicious food and outstanding service from Jimmy! My go to spot for ramen. Love the fried rice and the ramen.

Let me start by saying I have tasted many different kinds of Ramen, but this place tops all by flavor!!! So good! However the uncleanliness and rude host make the service and ambience suck! The host didn't say hi welcome or thank you and had a stank face the whole time!
