Thank you for the speedy repair of my AC and Smog test. Top notch professional and experienced service always!

Very honest and speedy auto shop! Highly recommend them. I popped over with no appointment and was helped immediately

For the second time this year, I made an appointment to have my car serviced at Redhawk. I've used these guys for several years and have had good service, they lived up to their word. But now.... Not so much. Just like last time, even though I had an appointment they did not have the right parts and an oil change that should have taken no more than an hour has dragged out to 6.5 hours and waiting. The last time, they did not top off the fluids and I had to do that myself even though I paid for the service. I get that help is hard to find right now, so how about you change up your business model and don't schedule appointments if you don't have the time, staff or parts? It unprofessional, rude and disingenuous to do this to your loyal customers. My goal to support local, small companies only goes so far I won't ever be back. read more

We initially chose RedHawk Auto because it was close to home. We are so glad we didn't waste our time at a different shop. The staff here are great! Both Manny and Mike have helped us with our two cars. We get our diagnostics back quickly with an easy link that has photos and explanations of what is needed. Prices are fair and best yet, their service is quick! For sure check them out, they have our business from here on out :) read more

Took my car 3 times to have brakes replaced because they did a terrible job and had to re do over and over. Finally said enough dealership said it was because they were using crummy brakes (they claimed OEM) and lubed nothing. They charged me $750. The dealership did the same brake job and fixed it for $300. read more

Don't go to Redhawk unless you want to throw away money! I had an oil change and they told me I needed brakes and numerous other things done. The price was so high I told them I would have to do it later. I took my car somewhere else to get another estimate and they told me my car was in perfect condition. No brakes or other work needed. I will NEVER go back to Redhawk. read more

Going to a mechanic shop can be intimidating at times. Since you aren't sure what the problem is or what the price will be. I am beyond grateful I met Sal yesterday. From the phone call for an appointment to the payment, these workers treated me like family. They took care of my car quickly and treated me with such kindness. I am very thankful I met them and now I won't be going anywhere else for mechanical issues. I highly recommend you all do the same. read more

So happy I came here. Great customer service. Great work. I would definitely come back again and will if I ever gave a problem I can't handle myself. Shane is awesome and very informative. Good people. read more

Alex and Sean and the entire team are amazing! Together they have helped me to get my Jeep back on the road and running like a top. Add to that, they gave me a ride home so I did not have to wait in the he shop all day while my Jeep was being repaired. They also have a loaner vehicle available which is pretty cool too. I highly recommend this shop! read more

Got an appointment same day for a smog, got in and out within a half hour and for the exact price as advertised and quoted. Experience was great. Will return for my next smog. read more

Brought our car in for ac problem. They made the repair in a couple hours reasonably priced great attitude in the office love your employees looks like we found a great shop to take care of our vehicles. read more

After driving 2,000 miles across the country from Wisconsin and arriving on a Thursday, we definitely know we had a problem to take care of Friday night before we could return home. Red Hawk took us in Saturday morning for a diagnostic and by 11:00 a.m. I had a problem identified, estimate in hand, and completion time to do the work. I gave them the green light to order the parts and do the work and my car was ready to go Tuesday afternoon, on time, as promised. I had no problems on the return trip. I can't say enough about the great service and courtesy from everyone I spoke with during a very trying 3-4 days, particularly Manny who oversaw my visit for the repairs. Thanks to all the staff and crew for a truly superior experience. If Temecula was my home, Red Hawk would be my go to place for service, maintenance, and repairs. read more

I was really impressed with this place. Prices are competitive, I would not think of going anywhere else in the future for this inspection. I highly recommend RedHawk Auto Service to anyone looking for a great auto shop. Thanks again!!! read more

Love love love this place. Honest reliable the best I have ever been to. I know I won't be swayed in another direction.

I came in and the lady at the counter wasn't wearing a mask. I then saw her all around the shop wearing one. I went to get SMOGed. Technician had stopped working ok on my car for 30min, I watched. Finally I went to the counter and ask if something was wrong. She said oh no, it's done. Also, shebwas wearing the mask this time. I waited 30min for nothing. read more

I booked my car in for a service after receiving a coupon in the mail. In two calls to the company I could not get a price to do a simple service (which should have warned me). Only after I checked in on the morning of my service, I was given what seemed like a very high price to do a simple oil and filter change. By then it was too late. I also needed a smog test and the coupon advertised a smog test at $49 but they actually charged $59 ($10 extra for the certificate, which seems a bit misleading). As soon as I arrived home after dropping the car off, I noticed a huge oil leak had happened the night before, coincidentally. The garage's response after I called twice, was to say they could check for the leak for $75 and couldn't say what the fix would cost. So I picked my car up after a service and there was still a big leak! That seems to me like waking up after surgery with a broken arm. On the plus side, the man I dealt with was polite and pleasant. read more

Red Hawk Auto saved my bank account! The Acura dealership told me I was going to need new brakes and a timing belt by my next oil change so initially I took my car to Red Hawk to have them inspect my brakes (they did this for free). Found out that there was nothing wrong with my brakes (the dealer was trying to get a buck out of me) but the timing belt was an issue. They did a timing belt service on my vehicle for less than half the price the dealer quoted me. The service at this shop is amazing. Alex sent me text message updates as to how my car was doing and when he expected it to be done. When I picked my car up it was washed and vacuumed and is running like a dream. I will not be taking my Acura for service anywhere else! These people are awesome!! Side note- please don't listen to people like John S. Who post a review on a business based on someone else's opinion, without actually having gone to the shop. That's just ignorant. read more

Very bad place to take your car for repairs, rip off merchants, use sub-par components and charge the earth, and tell lies. Wouldn't touch this place if my life depended on it read more

I've been there lots of times never had an issue. I went yesterday. They charged me $1300 in labor for a 3 hour job. I'm a hard working mom of 6 children. Then the asst manager Scott acted like he was giving me a discount. Never got the discount. Never got the AAA discount I asked for either. I took the receipt to 3 different mechanics in the area. They all laughed and said they took advantage of me. Their labor charge was triple the cost of the parts and more than Mercedes Benz dealership. I'll never return there and I hope you don't go there either. im super disappointed in how I was treated and used. I literally was home crying about it. Never again. read more

On their website they describe their service as: "fast, affordable and pleasant" well they forgot to say HONEST! They provide honest service. I made an appointment and they took care of me right away and the friendly staff knew what they were talking about and did not try to sell me something I did not need. I highly recommend that you take your car to them because they are great. read more

I would give them 10 stars if I could!! Very professional and respectful service. Manny was wonderful and sensitive to my timing. Even though I was planned to see a different mechanic, Manny realized that he will stay busy for a while, and quickly requested someone else to do my job in a very timely manner, and I was soon on my way to work with no delays. read more

I can't rave enough about the way my oil change was here. From the moment I walked in until the moment the work was done, which was quick. Everyone I got to meet was incredibly friendly and eager to help. Sal, Gio and Scott treated me so well! Will be using this place for all my future auto service needs. Thank you so much guys!! read more

If I could give them zero stars I would! About 3 weeks ago my husband took my car in because it was making a funny noise around the battery/ alternator area. They run a diagnostics and tell us it's just the battery. We pay for diagnostics and new battery and at the moment we were told they would also change the cables out but when my husband got their they only put a new battery in. So they gave him a "discount" and we paid $321... well then just 2 days ago my battery light turns on! And we take it back, well now this time they tell us we need a new alternator and new belts... and it would be close to $900! I told my husband, don't let them touch our car anymore and let's tow it to our trusty mechanic in Oceanside. My trusty HONEST mechanic shop checks our car and tells us it's the alternator as well but they charged us only $479 and did everything that Redhwak auto shop was going to do for us. Our mechanic assured us this place knew we would need a new alternator the first time around it doesn't take 3 weeks for an alternator and belts to go out! We learned our lesson, we will continue to do the drive to our mechanic in Oceanside. Also my mechanic was in disbelief how much they were trying to charge us! This place is just out to rip people off! They will find a way to continue to get money out of you! read more

Car had terrible fishy smell. I was reluctant to call because the reviews were not great, but it was close and I was desperate. First person who answered phone said I could drop off but they could not give me a ride home. I called back to make an appt and my savior-to-be, Manny, picked up. I explained that I wanted to make an appointment and need my car back to pick up my kids in the afternoon. He said since it was so busy and he didn't want me to wait, I should bring it in right then and he'd check under the hood when I arrived. When I arrived he immediately checked under the hood and said he was sure it was a dead animal. He couldn't see anything immediately, so put the car on a lift and inspected with a flashlight underneath. Within minutes he found a dead mouse and removed it! Amazing. He recommended getting an interior detail and use air fresheners and replace air filters. Best part was that when I offered to pay he said no charge. I will def come back for future repairs! read more

I had my 2003 Tacoma's second of three must do recommended services done since I purchased it brand new. And just like the initial one I scheduled with them a couple of months back, I was again totally satisfied with the work done and on top of that I paid for it just the most reasonable and affordable price for both parts and labor you could find anywhere in and around the area. I wouldn't hesitate going back to them for future services as their staff are courteous, friendly, and provide you with honest, hassle-free advice and estimate. Ask for Manny or any of their amiable staff. read more

Took my vehicle here for smog. I was told when it didn't pass that I still had to pay. That didn't sound right to me but I paid the high price anyhow just to avoid having problems. Took my vehicle to another smog test place in Temecula and was told that you don't pay unless you pass. So basically I wasted my time and money taking my car to Redhawk; DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR SMOG. I can only imagine if they are doing this with smog how many other things are they ripping people off for. Even the second place that I took my car for smog test said they were going to report Redhawk for this. So obviously something is going on. read more

This place is super busy. I did not call in advance for an appointment so the fact that there would be a 2 hour wait for a smog is understandable. As long as you have no where else to be, it's no big deal. BUT the $59.99 price for a smog check is a big deal. I've never paid that much for a smog, EVER. My SUV is a 2006 so it does not fall under the older vehicle category, it's not a bus, and it's not a motor home. I ended up taking it to Kwik Smog on Jefferson and used a yelp coupon for $28.00 plus the cert fee, I paid $36.00 TOTAL. And my smog was done in less that 15 minutes. read more

Went in to get propane this morning. The entire staff was outback smoking and not one person could stop and help. When I asked for help one of them spoke up and said laughing " be with you in 10 mins or more". Awful service read more

These guys saved my ass today. My wife was stranded 90 minutes from home and could not get the gas door on her truck open. She was out of gas and had stopped at 3 different places and no one would help her. She called me in a panic almost in tears and I was 2 hours away. Husbands, you know the feeling! I called Red Hawk Auto off of Google and spoke to Manuel and he told me to send her over. When she got there "Shane" (you will know him because he has dreamy eyes!!!!) calmed her down and got the gas door open in just a few minutes. The next call I got was from a very thankful wife who had stopped crying and was now was in love with everyone there. Thanks Manuel and Shane, you saved everyones day!!!! read more

Took my car in for new tires and the mechanic said my car also needed some front end repairs which would cost $5400 in addition to the $900 I spent on the new tires. I took my car to another mechanic for a 2nd opinion and he said many of the repairs the RedHawk mechanic said I needed were not necessary and he saved me $3000! Very disappointing experience at RedHawk Auto. read more

Horrible customer service! I will never take my vehicle here again!! The owner, Patrick is very rude.. I went in for a simple oil change and left paying 200 for a new oil pan plus labor because they cracked the pan. They wouldn't own up to their mistake, argued and cussed me out in front of my children. I would not take my vehicle here if I was you! read more

This is one of the worst auto work experiences I have ever had, especially with something as simple as a smog. First of all, if you fail the smog you are still required to pay the $60 labor cost so be forewarned. My vehicle did not pass the visual inspection (described below) which could have been indicated immediately but instead they proceeded to run the additional tests and burn 3 hours of my day (said it was going to be an hour). Secondly, if you have any issue passing the smog, they are not helpful at all. My catalytic converter was stolen in 2007 and thereafter replaced. Apparently after 2008, new catalytic converters are required to have EO numbers. Being that mine was manufactured in 2007 (which was indicated on the converter), it did not have that number. While the ARB website listed my converter as being exempt, so long as emissions fell within a given range, they wanted a receipt showing when it was installed. Since I didn't have this, they wouldn't pass the visual and were quick to refer me to a company they work with who could install a new converter for $350. I just wonder how many times they have scammed people this way and what their cut is. Above all, the issue I had was the lack of customer service and attitude of the employees. Beyond the generally condescending tone, the front desk was argumentative. When I asked to speak to the manager he said they were too busy and to walked off. It was really amazing and took a great deal of patience to get through the time. Fortunately, I went to a new smog shop and they confirmed that my emissions were acceptable and that my information regarding the EO was correct. Just highlights how horrible this place is run. read more

Great job - walked in with no appointment- smog and electronic certificate completed within 30 minutes- even though estimated wait time was an hour - super fast! Fair and reasonable pricing, competitive with deals in the area. Wasn't over charged and didn't need a coupon! Professional staff, courteous and friendly. Small Lobby to wait in with TV and comfortable chairs. Water and coffee available too. I would definitely return for future repairs. There is also a gas station and hand car wash conveniently located right in same parking lot. read more

I just need to say Thank you to Mike Selby for stopping everything he was doing and without any hesitation fixing my tire so I could get home that night. The garage was closed by the way... Bad Business practice and dishonest. I used to trust this shop until a few weeks ago they flat out lied and were totally unethical about what was going on with my car. Turns out they never diagnosed my vehicle, but came back with an outrageous price $899.00 to fix my driver side window. After calling around to a few other shops and verifying that that was absolutely ridiculous, I decided to take the door panel off myself to inspect. Turns out I did not need $572 worth of parts nor $327 in labor, the door panel itself didn't even need to be removed to see what the actual problem was. Had they actually diagnosed vice guess they could've provided good customer service vice try to rip people off. My master switch which cost $70 brand new was the issue and not my motor, regulator and assembly... These guys are scammers, liars, unprofessional and very unethical. I also asked for a quote to change spark plugs and wires for the same car, and the price was quoted was outrageous as at $799. I called around Temecula and found that the going rate for my car is $285 for the same work!!! Imagine that!! If you want fair pricing and quality information PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.. When I went back in to explain that what they told me was a bunch of BS, they started back pedaling.... Nice try in trying to cover butt by not printing what you actually told me over the phone on the invoice because would posted in the review... Worst experience ever!!! read more

Went in for a smog check and the service was great! Friendly and SUPER fast! Maybe 20 minutes MAX.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP. A Few days ago my car would not start. I called AAA and they told me it was the started. I had them tow my car to this shop since it's close to my work. When I called the shop I told them my car was on the way there and that AAA said it was the starter. They shop ended up running a diagnostic anyways only to find out it was in fact the starter and later charge me $100 for that! The shop called me with a quote of $1,000 for part and labor!!! $700 for the starter and $300 for labor. I then called 2 dealerships and both shops told me the part was $427! Total with labor at dealer $815. When Redhawk auto called again I let them know that 2 dealerships had quoted me only $427 for the part when Redhawk was telling me $700. They claim Dealership had quoted them $700 for the part! Sure! I asked if I can buy the part from Dealership and take it to Redhawk for them to install. They said that was not an option. Redhawk later gave me another quote of $688.30. I asked if that was an aftermarket part. They said it was. I then called another shop and got a quote of $500 for part (aftermarket) and labor only $500! I called AAA again and had them pick up my car from Redhawk and take it to the other shop. When I got to Redhawk it took them a few minutes to find the car key. One of the employees (probably the one I had been communicating with over the phone) seemed very unhappy. I was charged the $100 at Redhawk which I just paid even though I should have never paid it. Since AAA had already said it was the starter! Not taking my car there again that's for sure! Liars!!!!! Super expensive! I would suggest for anyone looking to get their car fixed that they call different places. read more

Noy, Nick and Manny have been so very helpful and has gone way beyond in making sure that I am happy customer. Not only did they make sure that my car was fixed, they also went out of their way to provide me a ride to and from their auto station. Their family friendly attitude towards me is very much appreciative and have made me feel very comfortable and confident that my car is in good hands. If I had a million cars, I would take every vehicle I have to them. Its people like them that you want to have on your phone on speed dial or your "favorites". I hope that their business continues to advance and grow in Temecula. Thanks guys! Helen Valenzuela read more
