I'm crazy grateful to Dan. He did a great job and we have the perfect dog. Literally everyone who sees our dog realizes we have a special dog. He's not a guard dog, because he's a companion animal. I think that our dog is our family's most prized possession. It's the only thing we are worried about getting stolen. Dan was instrumental at helping us find and train the dog. We wanted to rescue a dog, and we even checked some of the rescue dogs out. But Dan said that for a companion animal, we should go to a breeder. He picked the best superstar breeder who had a bunch of kids around the dogs so that our dog would be used to kids. Dan was 100% right. I can't possibly recommend Dan highly enough. he took our dog and our family to a bunch of parks and taught us everything about dogs and dog training. What a guy.

A very overdue review for No Bull Rehab…read more A little background on our dog, Bubba: we adopted him from the Inland Valley Humane Society after looking for a young adult dog who would fit well with our two small kids. Bubba, a 2-year-old shepherd bulldog mix, seemed perfect -- sweet, potty trained, and a staff favorite. We fell in love immediately. Once we brought him home, though, we realized he had some significant behavioral challenges. Bubba was highly reactive to other dogs and had severe separation anxiety. He was destructive when left alone and even injured himself trying to escape two metal crates. Managing his anxiety while also handling his reactivity became overwhelming for our family. I've had dogs my whole life, so at first I tried working through it on my own. Eventually, though, it became clear we needed professional help. We met with several trainers, but nothing felt like the right fit. Many approaches seemed like temporary fixes that didn't address the root causes of his behavior. When we were expecting our third child, I knew we needed a real solution, so I started researching behavior-focused board-and-train programs. After a lot of searching, I found No Bull Rehab through a rescue organization they worked with. From the very first interaction, Sarah was incredibly responsive, empathetic, and informative. That communication alone stood out immediately. We brought Bubba in for a consultation with Drew and Sarah, and after just one meeting, we knew they were the right people for him. Their ability to read and explain his behavior was such a relief. Drew is so calm and completely in tune with all things dog. We enrolled Bubba in their 8-week behavior modification board-and-train program focused on his reactivity and anxiety. Throughout the process, communication was excellent. We received regular updates and always felt informed and supported. At one point, Bubba injured his foot by puncturing in between his toe on a walk during training, and they took incredible care of him -- coordinating vet visits, follow-ups, and adjusting his training while he healed. We trusted them so much that we chose to leave him there during recovery rather than bring him home. What really made the difference was that Drew didn't just train Bubba -- he trained us. He showed us realistic, sustainable ways to structure our daily life so Bubba could feel safe, calm, and successful. Unlike other programs that required hours of daily training, No Bull's approach fit naturally into real family life. The change in Bubba has been incredible. He's still himself -- a little anxious and quirky -- but now we have the tools to manage him safely and confidently. We can walk him daily, leave him home alone, and enjoy life with him instead of constantly living on edge. Most importantly, he's happier, and so are we. Even after training, Sarah and Drew have continued to be responsive and supportive whenever we've had questions. We live in Orange County and still bring Bubba back to No Bull whenever we travel because they know and understand him so well. Living with a behaviorally challenging dog can feel isolating and exhausting, but No Bull Rehab truly changed our lives with Bubba. We're incredibly grateful for everything they've done for our family, and I cannot recommend them enough.

With a baby on the way, I was genuinely worried that Kilo would be too much for our family to handle. Despite my best efforts--daily 4-mile walks, hours of fetch to wear him out, and trying to train him myself--nothing worked. I had just rescued Kilo and was committed to giving him a chance, but I didn't know where to turn. Thankfully, a friend recommended Kevin, Markelle, and Andy. I reached out to Kevin, and he showed up the very same day. He immediately evaluated Kilo, explained what behaviors needed work and why, and broke down how they could be addressed. He also walked me through all the available training packages in detail, which made the process clear and easy to understand. Not to be dramatic, but training with Easyday was literally life-changing…read more Before hearing about Easyday through friends, I had a reactive husky who pulled incessantly (big surprise). I booked a 3 week board & train and promptly heard from Mark who walked me through their pre-program recommendations, which included rules like no furniture and hand feeding. After the board & train, life with my pup was... awesome. I will say -- it's a lot of work and practice. Think personal trainer.. The trainer will tell you what to do & how to do it, but it's up to you to continue putting in the work. You don't just work out for 3 weeks and stay fit for the rest of your life. Same concept here. Mark essentially taught me how to enjoy life with my dog. Our big goal was hiking off leash and we were able to accomplish just that in about 2 months after our board & train program. From going to the office to hanging out at coffee shops and hiking & walking off leash, I was able to bring my dog pretty much everywhere and not have to worry about her behavior. I'd recommend Mark & Easyday K9 Academy over and over to anyone. After getting nowhere with another trainer and being on the brink of giving up, my Australian…read moreShepherd Maverick entered the two week board and train training program with Omega Paws. Each evening, after spending the day working and training Maverick, Alexx would send me pictures and/or video updates, along with explanations of the things they were working on, and also what I needed to know to continue working with Maverick after he returned home. And each night I would watch the videos and cry happy tears. I couldn't believe that was my dog! Maverick responded so well with Alexx. And after two weeks, he was ready to come home. I couldn't believe it! And I was so afraid that I was going to mess something up and that my dog would never behave for me the way he had for Alexx. But I was wrong! From the day Maverick came home I could tell he was a different dog already. I paid close attention to the things that Alexx trained ME to know. And every day I continue to work with Maverick the way that we were taught. I was never fearful of the tools that Alexx employed while training Maverick. I knew that proper use of a prong collar would not hurt Maverick. And to the contrary, Maverick responded much better to that, than to having a slip lead noose around his neck. With a slip lead Maverick with pull himself so hard he could've done damage to his esophagus. But with the prong collar, he no longer pulled on his leash. I also was never afraid of using the E collar. From day one, Alexx showed me proper use of the E collar. And he even demonstrated it to me, having me hold it in my hand to feel the vibration. I know that the E collar does not harm Maverick in any way, it's simply a gentle reminder for him to make good decisions. And it works. Since Maverick came back home, I actually rarely need to even press the button to make the E collar vibrate. However, if Maverick needs a reminder, it is a tool that has proven to be extremely useful. Maverick no longer pulls when on leash. He walks next to me and heels very well. And when we encounter other dogs and he begins to bristle, as if he were going to react, all I have to do is remind him to heel. If I see that he is starting to forget, I hit the button for the E collar control. For Maverick I have it set at 15, which is pretty low, and usually one tap is all it takes to get him back on track! Sometimes all I have to do is touch the controller and he responds without me even pushing the button! It's like it's ingrained in him already. And it works! Maverick came home, such a better dog! And since then he and I have been able to bond in a way that we weren't able to in the months prior to him going to Omega Paws. Maverick now has a better understanding of what he needs to do, and he follows directions much better. He understands when I tell him to go to his place, and he stays there. He also understands when he is supposed to be in his crate, and he goes in without a fight. I love our walks because on leash he is amazing! And he has not reacted in the same manner towards another dog since returning from Omega Paws, so I no longer have that fear of being injured when he's on leash. He is much better mannered. And I have no doubt that within the year I will be able to get him certified to become a working Therapy Dog with me! And barely a year old he's still a puppy, and he's not perfect. But he is so much better than he was, and our relationship is so much better as well! And believe me when I say that my dog is much calmer, and he does not need a treadmill! He just needed to learn boundaries, and we needed to bond! That's something that we weren't able to do with the previous training. We had such a good experience with Omega Paws, that once Maverick had come home and we saw the difference in him, we decided to have Alexx and his team train our two small dogs as well. They are both Chihuahua mixes, and or were foster fails. One is 10 years old and the other is eight years old, so they are pretty set in their ways! But we wanted to give them basically the same foundation that Maverick had so that they all had the same understanding. And while they are not quite as good as Maverick, they are definitely much improved. They definitely understand boundaries much better, and they behave better on leash! I cannot say enough about Alexx and Luis, and all of Omega Paws. I was literally on the verge of giving up, and contemplating surrendering my dog because I knew that I could not go on the way that we were. And that's a terrible feeling to have when you love a dog! Omega Paws gave me back my dog, and also self-confidence. I am so grateful to them for all they've done for my family. And I can't wait to see what my future holds with Maverick by my side! I hired Adam because my 5 year old dog is anxious and fearful, so much so that his world has become…read moresmall. He loves going to my friends homes, parks and camping, but is terrified in the car. It seems like he's getting worse with time. He's 52lbs and now I have to carry him to the car because he won't budge when he sees we are going for a ride . Once in the vehicle he pants and shakes for the duration. Even walks can be challenging if something spooks him. I have to carry him across busy intersections because he freezes out of fear. He's a load to lift! Adam has taken a slow approach, building trust with Theo. We have driven to the park and walked as well. Walking, Adam was able to observe Theo's fear of trash cans, holding him in place, side against the container, reassuring him, until Theo's body language relaxed. At which point Adam gave a high value treat as a reward. I'm learning new ways to interact with my dog. I'm trying to let go of my protectiveness and let him experience triggers differently. It's a learning curve for Theo AND me. I like Adam's approach. He understands my dog has problems and it's his job to identify and work to mitigate Theo's anxiety... and mine! (I'm more like Theo than I care to admit!).
