I loved going to In & Out Smart Repair. They were very fast, very friendly and were able to repair a huge mess that I made of my phone trying to fix it myself. I literally brought the phone to them in pieces. The rep that helped me was named Nils. He was great and not at all intimidated or judgmental of my mess. Just a piece of advice as well, I bought a replacement screen for my phone online and it was faulty, they are very low quality online, It had two areas of defect on the screen so even if I would have gotten it back together, it would not have worked. They had everything they needed in stock and I had my phone back in a very short time, I think under 2 hours. It works perfectly now. I was so thankful to have it back. I thought for certain that I would have to buy a new one but Nils recognized right off what was wrong. And the price was AMAZING!!!! so worth it and I highly recommend In & out. read more

I had a cracked iPhone5 and several things did not work on it anymore. I've been praying for my phone to live and not die for months!! I have a family, about to adopt a child so the last thing on my mind was getting a new phone. I don't know how he saw my phone or if Joy, his wife did, but I went by the shop and sure enough, he pulled an iPhone 6 out of the drawer and handed it to me and said: "This is for you!" The staff here we're knowledgeable, friendly, and prioritized my needs. I brought in my destroyed smart phone with little to no hope of getting any of my data and memories off of the phone, which was my fault for not backing my phone up and was told by my phone carrier there was no way for me to restore any of it. but within two days they had solved the problem and made it possible for me to get all my stuff back onto my new phone. i've never written a review for any business before, but the service i experienced from in & out smart repair gave me no other choice but to make a yelp and leave a good review. In & out Smart Repair the best device repair company I've ever used (and I've gone to many!) I have now used their services twice. I pay for insurance monthly and every time my phone has broken I've had to pay hundreds of dollars to get a new phone. In & Out is thorough, fast, and incredibly affordable. I am living in Norway and was planning to go to Redding, CA for holiday. Few days before I left Norway I broke the screen on my iPhone 6. The service and the employees are great. Have a iPhone X which the back glass broke, had them service it, the facial recognition doesn't work anymore, my apple or bank pay doesn't work anymore either. And I noticed the reception signal is alway nill now. I wish they would have gave me a heads up before or let me know that these things wouldn't work with replacing the broken glass. Oh last thing to the new glass or plastic on the camera seemed to crack while in pocket, I'm assuming it's from it being plastic if it broke that quickly from being in my pocket. read more

My iPhone wasn't charging properly, so took it to In & Out Smart Repair. Wearing his mask and being socially distant, Batman took my phone and cleaned the charging port. Before Batman Returned my phone, he tested it twice with two separate charging devices to make sure it worked. I was relieved to see it charged perfectly -- this charging issue had been the Bane of my existence for weeks. The issue was fixed at no cost. My phone recently stopped working and went to two different places before being recommended to come here and man!!!! I wish I had come here first ! We came here with almost no hope left and the technician Nils came to the rescue . These guys are awesome! Fixed my phone and gave me a screen cover for less than I paid for at Batteries Plus. I requested a quote online and received a fast response from Trey about a price. Yesterday was my second visit to Redding Smart Repair. The first time to have the battery and camera replaced in my Apple 8. The cost was reasonable and the service was quick. My iPad Air2 would not charge and the charging cable would not properly connect. I expected the charging port to be replaced. They took a quick look and pulled a very small piece of metal out of the charging port. The iPad works great and there was no charge. Thanks RSR, I'll see you next time. read more

The kid looked at my laptop with its broken key, looked at me, said, That's it? Took the tiny face off, pried the three parts apart, shimmied them back together and popped it on. 5 minutes. No charge (I gave him $5) This happened after I had been to two other repair shops and had the long wait, then prospects of being without my computer for a week, and MAYBE they could fix the key and maybe I would have to buy a whole new keyboard.
