This national franchise needs to work on their communication break downs. We were trying to buy a house and wanted our sewer line scoped. I scheduled a time for 8-11am, as the home is still occupied. 10:30 came along and still no sign of them, not even a call. Once it got past 11 I called and cancelled...no apology either. Fast foward a few weeks, our original house deal fell apart so we found another house. I called these guys and scheduled from 8-11am again (it couldn't happen twice right??) So at 8am I call to make sure we are all set. "Yes sir, I will have someone call you back to confirm." I wait an hour and call again. "Yes sir, I will have someone call you back to confirm." I wait till 10 and call again. "Yes sir, I will have someone call you back to confirm." At 10:30 I call back and get transferred to some "manager". No matter what I asked her she just kept repeating, "He will call you when he is available. He will call you when he is available." Soo frustrating. I finally got my first call back of the day at 2:45pm! "Hello sir are you ready for me to stop by now." Oh, and again no apologies from any employee. Maybe they do good work...if they ever show up. I then called Morgan Miller plumbing the next day. They came right on time, were very helpful, cost less, and sent me a handwritten thank you card in the mail! read more

Avoid Reddi Services at all costs. They didn't perform the work that was requested. They then made an error on the work they did. After all that, they charged my credit card for the unrequested work, the fix for their error, AND the originally requested work. This has to be the most incompetent and unethical company I have ever seen. read more

Called Reddi at 7:45a on Monday morning, Service Specialist Tyler Mullins arrived a half-hour later. Drain issues were difficult to diagnose, as water was collecting at the floor drain in the basement and washer drain water was filling the laundry room sink. Tyler discovered two separate problems, resolved them both, resulting in free flowing drains. Problems resolved in less than an hour. He proved to be not only a knowledgeable professional but efficient and respectful. Greatly appreciated was his empathy to this senior household. Call them out and call taker approved 119.00 for service. Asked if my 25 dollar gift card would be ok, and she said yes. when they arrived they fixed my drain but equipment was faulty and they had trouble directing cable because of a bad kink in line. They said they would fix auger when back in shop. Refused my gift card and was told when paying they were going to charge me an extra 3 % for using my plastic!! Had two people there and the one teaching the other was very disrespectful and the other tracked mud all over my porch. Called and asked for the manager and they said he was out and i could talk to the customer service man bu he was busy and would call back. NOT !!! read more

I recently hired Reddi Services to fix my AC and on their first visit here, they said that my current unit was broken and I would need to replace it. I agreed to let them replace my AC unit which cost $8,200 only for the unit not to work. Reddi never even checked to see if there was electrical issue before telling me that I needed a new unit. I feel as if they would have checked the electrical first, then I wouldn't have had to pay $8.2k, and I also wouldn't be in this position to start. Reddi claimed that it was an electrical issue, and that I must have an electrician come out. I hired (Bob Hamilton) and when I paid for an electrician to come out, and they said that Reddi damaged all of the wires. The electrician said that the unit requires 25 amps and what we have only goes up to 20 amps. Long story short, Reddi told me that I needed a new AC unit when I did not, and then the unit they put in my house still does not work. Now I am out $8,200 and my house is 86 degrees. read more

He spent more time on the main line than anyone previously and we have had it serviced every year for 12 years. We will be calling Reddi from now on. What we thought was just a needed routine pump out, turned into an old broken pipe. Fortunately Reddi Services is right here in Shawnee. It was after 5 pm when we called, and it wasn't an emergency yet, but they were out early in the morning the very next day. They got to work pumping the septic tank out first, and then it was on to replacing the broken pipe. I was happy to see they had a mini excavator to use, which meant minimal disruption to the backyard. After a quick run to their shop, they returned with the replacement part and got to work to get it installed. It wasn't the easiest job, but they stayed at it until it was properly in place. Of course I wasn't crazy about writing an unplanned check, but I found their price to be reasonable for the job they did, and I have the peace of mind knowing they're right here in Shawnee whenever I'm in need again. read more

When I called that morning around 0900 hrs I was told they "would be out in about two hours". When I call back to get a better ETA around 11:00 AM I was told that it would be around 1:50 PM. I call back about 1:00 PM to confirm that was still a good time they tried to add another two hours to that. I asked to speak to an office MGR. at which time they told me a Tech was on the way and he did arrive around the 2:00 PM hour. I also felt the price was a little compared to other companies I have used. The tech Dave seemed knowledgeable and was able to clear my drain. That is the reason for only three stars read more

To start with, the ad on Craigslist was misleading. It states "Need a Plumber? Give Ken a Call (Local Plumber)." The number the ad gives, 913-954-4492, is not the same number you get when you go to Reddi Services website, so a Google search of that number will not yield any results. This disappointed me a bit, as I was specifically looking for a small business or independent contractor, not a major business. The other issue is the cost. I was charged me a total of $369, which included two hours of work (at $95 per hour--seems high) and the cost of one part for a tub. I Googled the part number (the tech left the package at my house), and discovered that it costs, on average, about $60. This means I was charged about $180 for a $60 part. I gave one star, because the technician (Paul) was good and worked diligently to get the job done properly. While the technician was good, and got the job done, I can't help but feel like I was overcharged. $95 per hour for a tech (not a plumber) seems high, and the markup on the part seems a bit outrageous. I would recommend Paul, not the company. read more

Updating my review after two bad experiences this month. Called this outfit a month ago for a clogged driveway drain leading into my basement. They said someone would call right back but it never happened. We are getting 4 inches of rain over the next 48 hours, so I took the day off work today and called again and requested same-day emergency service to clear it before my basement fills with water. Was told someone would be here today and they would call 30 mins before arrival. By late afternoon I was getting nervous so I called. Was told someone would call me right back. So now, as my basement is literally filling up downstairs and I just turned my sump pump on, it's 8:00 pm and I'm kind of thinking they aren't going to make it. Reddi, if I treated my bosses the way you treat your customers, I would be fired. So tonight I'm firing you as a company that I ever call for service again. And I'm leaving this review on every corner of the webisphere. You owe me a vacation day and a dry basement. read more

Horrible services!! I would never use them again. First it was a guy training and he was talking the whole time. They seems unknowledge about how to open up a drain. My drain was clogged and now it's back clogged because they seems not to know how to unclogged a drain. I've had better plumbers from craigslist. I would never ever use them again. Came to repair toilet clogged issue and then later said they could fix it only by taking off the toilet which will cost $250. They not only couldn't fix the problem but also damaged property before leaving in hurry. At the end, they said they have to charge me for their "attempt" to fix the problem rather than fixing the problem. I will NEVER reach out to them again for any plumbing issues and I will also make sure all my family members, friends, neighbors and coworkers are fully aware of their service and code of conducting business. read more

I contacted Reddi Services to help with a blockage in the kitchen and to run the snake through the stacks for the house to make sure there weren't any other problems. They didn't arrive at the appointed time because it sounded as dispatch didn't send out the message in time. The kitchen problem was fixed in fine fashion, but snaking the clean outs was much less than satisfactory. The plumber went to the stack in the garage, because it was too much trouble for him to go to the one in the basement. After doing the job, he said that he thought we had collapsed lines and he was getting into mud. That was not the case. I hired another plumber and he went to the other stack and ran a camera through it and found only tree roots with no damage to any of the cast iron or tile sewage lines. The stars are given for the service technicians. They are always very courteous and polite. They get the job done and always show up on time. They even clean up after their mess which is a rare when dealing with contractors. The main issue with this company is the office staff! They do not log service calls, making you have to call back and start a new one. need an invoice for The work done? Forget it! You only receive invoices after repeated calls and still many times they fail to send them. That should be a company standard to send an invoice once the service is completed. Lastly the manager is always out to lunch well at least that's what you are told when you ask to speak to one. When asked for a time they will be in they never know and I guess the manager doesn't have a line where you can leave a message for a return call .... how convenient! This company could be so much better if they had a better office staff. read more

Nobody called me until 140 after waiting all day and after I booked another plumber that seemed much more responsive. DON'T WALK BUT RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Have had them come over before with no issues. This time my main drain was backed up. The tech removed the clog but when he left he pipe was broken (wasn't prior to his visit). It took a few days and a few phone calls for anyone to call us back about the issue. We were told that we would have to pay for parts and they wouldn't charge us labor and they would fix it. WHAT??? Your guy broke it and you want us to pay for parts!! We priced the parts on our own and he is asking double what we can buy them for at Lowes. Run away from them as fast as you can!! read more

It was quit clear from the beginning the plumber that was sent to our house didn't want to tackle our issue. Two times he was supposed to schedule us, he just didnt... Every time we called customer service they would say, "uh no we don't have you scheduled." This wasn't the only problem. We also had to have a smoke test done on our house, they told us our vent pipe wasn't big enough to do it properly, but we still had to pay the $325 after they unsuccessfully did the test. Not only is he extremely thorough but very knowledgeable when it comes to knowing what might be the obvious problem and playing the process of elimination game. Never tried to up sell me on anything, just a really honest transaction and great job. Very very very disappointed with this company. Our water heater was not working. The repairman came over. He thought he could fix it with a thermo-coupler. The charge was going to be $295 He started to fix it and then said we needed a new water heater. Their charge for a new water heater was $1,400. We told him we will think about it and look around for a better price. We called another plumber who came out within 1/2 hour after Reddi Services. He fixed our water heater for $125. The thermo coupler was NOT put on correctly and the Reddi Service repairman left a part off. He left the sleeve off to keep the part in place. Seems this company just wanted to sell us a water heater. I'm sure our water heater needed the new thermo coupler, but we did not need a new water heater! Would NOT recommend this place. I called this place on wednesday because I had a so called stuck plumbers snake stuck in my bathroom pipe, Anyway, I had someone come out on an emergency call and they told me I had put a hole through the pipe by snaking it and it needed to be replaced, so I had someone come by the following day, to give me a bid and look at it, and that guy somehow decided to find another guy to come out two hrs later, which that guy gave me a bid, and asked if I could be home today to get it repaired. So i took off work and I get a call telling me the plumber that gave me the bid is "tired" from the night before and cannot do it until trmw. What a crock. !!!! This place is a joke. I scheduled an appointment with them and let them pick the day and time that would be most convenient because I know how busy it can get in the summer and wanted to make sure they had a good time they wouldn't have be late or reschedule. The day of the appointment, no one showed up and they didn't even have the courtesy to call and cancel, I had to call them. They rescheduled for the next day and again didn't show up or call to let us know they wouldn't be coming. I called again almost four hours after they were supposed to come and again had canceled my appointment without notifying me. The employee I spoke to only told me they'd call when they got to me. I asked whether that meant later the same day (since they're supposed to be available 24 hours) or tomorrow, or even any time this week. She said she couldn't tell me but they'd call when they were ready. And again, they scheduled the appointment, not me! Completely unprofessional and inconsiderate. read more

Wow! A plumbing company that will actually come out and give you a FREE BID within hours!! I'm a researcher and contacted five different plumbing companies to get estimates over the phone by sending pictures of my issue. All the companies but this one gave me a HUGE range of what it would cost to install new water shutoffs for my washing machine. We needed someone ASAP as we had to turn off the water to the house when the valve broke the night before. It's difficult to function without running water! The plumber named Michael gave me a bid that was lower than the ones I'd received over the phone, and was at my home sooner than anyone else could arrive. He had great CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! Not only did he fix the valve; but he also went around my home and helped increase the water pressure by cleaning out the stuff that builds up inside the faucets (at no charge). He gave me other tips to avoid plumbing issues in the future. He was also very clean while completing the work. I've never written a review for a plumbing company; but Michael went above and beyond! In addition the office staff was very friendly and prompt in finding their first available plumber. I will definitely use them again!! read more

HVAC service. We called just after 7am because the AC was not blowing cold air overnight. We were told they would arrive by 10am. At noon, no show no call. We called them and were told that they were busy but would be there soon. 2pm no call no show, I called them (female owner of the house) and the lady in the office was very apologetic but still could not give me a time they would actually be there but reassured me that they would be there sometime that day. Finally got a call about 4:30 that someone was in route and showed up at 5pm, seriously 7 hours late!!!! Also they failed to inform me that it was going to be $175 just to show up. Over the 7 hour waiting period, I asked several friends on Facebook what the problem was and was told probably the capacitor (which was under warranty still) which is very inexpensive and only takes about 20 minutes to install. They were correct. So I paid $175 for 20 minutes of work on a warrantied part and the service tech didn't even bother to clean the unit to make sure it was running at optimal capacity. I called the office the next morning to complain, the lady listened to my story and said she was going to talk to the owner. I week later, I have heard nothing. I had used this company several times prior and never paid that high a service call charge and had been pleased with there work BUT after this mess, I will never use them again. read more
