I took my boots in to get the souls redone, when I took them in they never mentioned how long it would be to get them fixed all they said was we will call you when they are ready. They charged me $169 for them to get fixed. I called them after a month to see if they were ready thats when they said it normally takes 2 months.. I called again after 2 months then they tell me they could not get them fixed. Everyone there is very unprofessional they all have attitude. I went in to get my boots and a refund because they have never been send out to get fixed. I will never shop there again. read more

I've been reading all the reviews. It seems like you guys like big customer service or we were a certain type of people for you to treat us fairly. I came in and bought some shoes some boots and I'm almost $300. You know they're not cheap immediately when I walked in, me and my girlfriend I was judged by an older Mexican lady talking to her colleague. She said in Spanish if I was good or if I was bad . whatever that means I didn't know my character was up for judgment upon getting shoes this was my first time in the store. And I mean I bought them cause I never had a red wing shoes always had wolverines if I ever buy anymore I'm not gonna ever go in the store as long as those people are there. I'll just shop online and Jesse you do the same everybody was just really awkward and no one was really friendly at all like no one wanted to be there like I felt like if I owe them money or something I did something wrong to them, but they were just all miserable and mad the nice lady manager asked me at the end or is everything OK? And I like I kidding. Lee said oh no everything was kind of terrible. Everybody was standoffish but we all know there's always truth to kidding so hopefully she got red between the lines but I think you need help manager lady because those people there are working with you doing nothing for you or bringing you down more because your reviews are not good and you have terrible ratings. We went into red wings shoes There was a young lady named Stephanie She has to be a new employee. She was very patient with us. She Was the best dressed neat clean. They all looked homeless. The store smelled really super bad. We come in that store often and it's always filthy. The manager is not friendly! I will come back in and buy our work boots there again hopefully we will get that same salesperson. She was very kind and had a really nice personality. I finally bought my first pair of Red Wing boots today; Iron Ranger 8111s to be specific. Despite having done as much research as I could on these boots and the company, nothing beats actually going in the store to get fitted properly, and seeing and feeling the boots you wanna buy. First off, as soon as I walked in the store, I was warmly greeted and made welcomed. Then Kathy, the associate who helped me out, asked if there was anything she could do to help. I told her I wanted to buy my first pair of Iron Rangers, and she took care of everything from there. She made me stand on this electronic fitting pad? (For lack of a better term) and a computer automatically calculated what size would fit me best. Computer was accurate indeed. After that, she got the boots from the back, and brought them to me to lace up, and try on. Yea, without saying much, I fell in love with them instantly. After making the decision to buy them, she offered to clean and polish them before I left, and she did a fine job of doing that. Kathy's professionalism, knowledge, and friendliness made my experience at this store a good one. That's something that'll always have my respect. read more

Have about 5 pairs of custom pairs my left foot is slightly wider than right and when I get them made that makes a huge difference :) my feet are happy I do this. I'm in sales and love wearing my work boots everyday. I over dress shoes the staff will help you if you can cooperate with the questions they have makes a difference when a professional is helping you customize your boot. About 2 ago I purchased about $500.00$ invoice including 2 work shoes but as some of you know with this pandemic most stores are short in inventory and this store is one of them & I had to Preorder the size I want so it takes about 30 days to get in to the store. Soon enough the shoes store called to pick up my 2nd par shoes so I was very happy to pick up them however it did not fit me right it hurt my feet so I went back to the store to exchange it but they told me that It was the wrong box so they recommended that I need to come back with the original box for that shoes sadly my kids get sick with Covid and I had to stay home and take care of them so I couldn't go back to the store on time within 30 days period to exchange or return the shoes. I want to the store and explain to them what happen but they will not open for solution and they say do you have passed your 30 return policy As for me I will never go back to that store. She did not even come to us by saying "Oh I'm sorry you cant look around before the sale tomorrow." Instead she said you cant look around! You can't be in here! Horrible Customer Service!!!! The supervisor lady that is there does not greet you when walking in. Then when you ask for help, she pawns you off to a new employee (without product knowledge). Every time, I asked a question the new employee had to ask the lady. The lady would not talk to me directly. It was ridiculous. When walking into the store (about an hour before closing) I was greeted cheerfully by Mr Rameriz inquiring how he could be of assistance to me. I told him I was back** to purchase pair of Iron Rangers. Mr Rameriz acquired several sizes from the back room for me to try on so that I could ascertain the best fit. Bought a pair of $300, 6 inch boots which look beautiful. Problem is that the insoles are very hard and uncomfortable, the top of the boot cuts into my ankle and I don't even use the top eye lets. I have had 3 par of red wing shoes. I wear them everyday for 8 to 10 hours. I had problems with my feet before my red wings. My job is very physically demanding, and I really put the red wings to the test! The shoes last about 2 years other shoes fall apart after only months. Im sold on red wings. This is the worst place to get your shoes repaired. The craftsmanship is horrible it looks like a 3rd grader fix my shoe. I took my shoes in to have them repaired and they charged me $45 up front . They never called me when they were ready and after 2 weeks I called them to find out that the shoes were ready. I went to pick up the shoes and they were in such horrible condition I refuse to take them. I called 12 days later and a unknown male answered the phone. He said he would check if it was done. I heard him ask another male if the glove was finished. Because he didn't put me on hold or cover the phone with his hand, I heard his conversation with a second male. The second male said,"f@€ k no its not done. I told the guy it would be 2 weeks." The other guy said well it has been 12 days. The second male said,"well tell him to wait til next Sunday." I called on Sunday and recognized the guy who answered as the guy who used profanity on the first call. I asked if the glove was done and he rudly said,"no we have been too buzy with our tent sale. Call back Tuesday or Wednesday and I'll see if I can get to it." The place has rude employees and doesn't care about thier customers unless they are spending thousands of dollars.
