This place is great. On two separate occasions I have walked in off the street and had repairs done for under $25 in under half an hour. Once to fix a leather strap that tore off of some clothing, and once when the pull strap tore off of my chelsea boot. Had them re-attach the one that came off and reinforce the other one just in case, $24.99 and 25 minutes! Going to bring the Chelseas back in soon when they are ready for a resole. They are located inside the Pacific mall on the ground floor next to Sees candy and in the wing of the old Sears in the middle. I brought a shoe to see if the sole could be fixed. I think the son took his time to explain why a repair wouldn't be possible and he was very friendly and accommodating. I feel like this family business is trustworthy. Good experience. Resole was almost $100, so pricy, but came out good as new. Tip - best to park in the structure and go in the mall entrance near See's. From there, it's on the other side of the central elevator. The signs say there is a Japanese food court opening downstairs and a bowling alley arcade upstairs, but the department store that used to be on that side of the mall closed, so there's no entrance over there at present. read more

I took my Free People lace up boots in to have the soles repaired. I've had these boots for well over 10 years. Ramon did a wonderful job. He even cleaned up the leather. The overall cost was about $95 with tax, which I felt was fair and reasonable, especially since the heels were rewrapped as well. The boots were valued at well over $300, so investing in the repair was worth it for me. read more

This guy is the absolute best. I look 2 pairs of Tony Lama boots in to him, one pair of smooth leather and one pair of python boots. They were very damaged from a young family member and I asked him to just do his best. He charged a very reasonable amount and he did an INCREDIBLE job. He went above and beyond and even touched up things he didn't charge me for. He managed to get the scales on my python boots to lay flat (they had been curled up for years) and he filled in deep cuts in my other boots and brought color back to areas that had totally lost their color. If you're looking for very quick turn around with excellent workmanship this is your place. Ramon is an artisan with a heart to deliver quality service. My boots looked great and he said I could pick them up the next day, instead of other places where I'd have to wait a week. I had bought a pair of Steve Madden booties and the zipper on one of them was broken. I was heartbroken. I took my one boot to Easy Step Shoe Repair for them to look at and give me an estimate and the gentleman took my shoe and fixed it right there! I was expecting a fee and he said that it was ok for now, but when it was starting to go again, come back in with both shoes so he can replace both zippers and make them match.
