Soup of the day

Pros: - VERY TASTY FOOD. This includes the shrimp parm, meatball and sausage ragu, and rigatoni a la vodka. - Some outdoor dining in front on sidewalk. - $8 sangria. Yummy. - Solid lunch prices before 4pm, ranging between 14 and 17 dollars. Each meal comes with soup or salad. Very worth it. Cons: - No tap water. Only 2 dollar poland spring bottles. Waitress also doesn't tell you after you ask for water. It's more of a surprise. - Metered parking. - 4% fee added when you don't pay with cash. Also, a surprise.

I totally regret not having tried this place sooner! The service was good, it was a pretty quiet Saturday night but i didnt mind at all! We came here for my birthday and would definitely love to come back here as the food was amazing and i would love to try more things on the menu!

BYOB! I've come in both large groups and intimate gatherings. This is a great spot for an occasion or a date night. The portions for both single and family style are great, everything tastes delicious, and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. They treat you well and the food is authentic. We ordered all types of pasta and chicken dishes, salads, and appetizers, and everything was great. I will continue to come back here.

My manager and I stopped at this spot for lunch. When we arrived we parked on the street nearby. We walked in and was greeted by Claudia and she told us we can sit anywhere. We sat and ordered. The place is dimly lit fyi. I ordered the clam pasta with white sauce and my manager got the spaghetti and meatballs and sausage. When it came out everything looked great. I dug in and I enjoyed my meal and so did my manager. We had a good experience.

Excellent food! We tried this Italian restaurant out this weekend and it was really good! I had the spaghetti with meatballs and the meatballs were great, well flavored, soft and tasty. The sauce was really good too. OMG the clams steamed in beer were awesome! Goes great with some cold beers! The clams oreganata, and eggplant rollatini were also excellent. I have been looking at this place for a while now as I pass by it almost daily. I'm glad I decided to try it.

I've ordered catering from this place over 20 times. First time eating in person. Came for lunch. Some guy, I guess the owner, yelling at people - the waitress and people in the back. There are dirty boxes stacked everywhere inside the dining area. Brining in carts if tablecloths through the front door. Kid doing homework at the hostess station. Fruit flies.. energy here is off.

On a whim we decided to try this BYOB restaurant. Appetizers and entrees were very good. The meatball app and the rigatoni bolognese were on point.

Delicious Italian food. Definitely will come back. Server was nice and accommodating.

We truly have to physically go here and sit down and eat. We have a newfound 'favorite' place to order from at work, today almost 13 meals for lunch! Kevin is pleasant as ever when ordering, and they provide great portions with soup / salad for lunches. You know when you have that one place, that one go to place, we've found it. The lobster ravioli is amazing, chicken and veal parm are delish; We turned another department onto this for lunch too. Nomnomnom.

The pasta was very creamy and enjoyed the flavor. As someone who loves steak and is picky with how I receive it, I had ordered a porterhouse Medium Rare, the first one we received was overcooked to medium well and our server second guessed me when I brought it to attention. He had to call over another worker to double check and we had to ask once again if we were able to get it redone to our liking before even getting it replaced right away. The second porterhouse we received was done correctly and was seasoned well and had enough fat to make it buttery and melty. Espresso Martini was made well and for Whiskey Sours, if you like them on the smokier side, I would recommend it. All in all, we enjoyed all the food but the only set back for us was that we had to wait a little longer for our steak which we wanted to pair with our pasta. By the time it came out correctly, our pasta was already cold.

We arrived right when they opened (perfect timing, especially with a snowstorm expected later that day), so the restaurant was still quiet. The space has a modern, upscale vibe that definitely feels suited for special occasions. It's located on a busy street, and while they do offer valet, we lucked out with free street parking since it was early. They offer a prix fixe brunch for $39 per person, which includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. It's a good way to experience the restaurant without committing to a full dinner price point--but be aware that quite a few items come with upcharges, and drinks are not included, so the bill can climb quickly. I do have a gluten allergy, and I was honestly surprised by how limited the gluten-free options were for a restaurant of this caliber. That said, I made it work: I started with a Bellini, had the sizzling slab of bacon as my appetizer, the recovery burger (no bun sub roasted potatoes as a side) as my main, and finished with the salted caramel gelato. Everything I had was enjoyable, but I would have appreciated more flexibility in the menu. The rest of the group (no dietary restrictions) had more variety to choose from and really enjoyed their meals, which is always a good sign. Service was attentive without being overbearing--likely helped by the fact that it wasn't too crowded yet--so we were able to relax and actually enjoy conversation, which made the celebration feel special. The restaurant also has a private back room that looks great for parties, plus a downstairs lounge area, which adds to its appeal as an event space. Overall, for me it's definitely more of a special occasion spot, and while the pricing is on the higher side for what you get, brunch feels like the best way to experience it. I'd come back again--but probably stick to brunch.

We went on a Wednesday night around 7PM and while there were a good amount of people dining we were able to get a table right away. We ordered the burrata to start and it was delicious. It was served over oranges and with walnuts which seemed like odd pairings to me but it just worked. I love burrata. It's always pricey, but I'm a sucker for it and will likely order it every time. We got the skirt steak, octopus, Pizza al Tartufo, and Diavolina pizza. Everything was fantastic. The skirt steak was cooked medium rare as ordered and it was served with some greens. It wasn't mind-blowing, just a good skirt steak. I would probably skip this on a return visit so that I could eat more pizza. The octopus was cooked perfectly as well. It wasn't tough and chewy and it had a nice char to it. It was a pretty large tentacle served with an arugula salad. The salad had a citrusy dressing on it which was refreshing. I really enjoyed the pizzas. We went with a white and a red pizza. THe white pizza was topped with fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, and black truffle oil. Everything went well together and the truffle flavor wasn't overpowering as it sometimes can be. The red pizza had hot sopressata, fresh mozzarella, and grana padano. The sopressata was actually a little spicy which was different from the white pizza. Both pizzas had a great crust with just the right amount of char. It was firm enough to hold up the sauces and toppings but had enough give in it so that it didn't have the texture of cardboard. Service was friendly. The place had a nice cozy feel to it. It's pricey but I'd definitely come back.

Established in 1969 on the site of the former Bicycle Club, Giovanni's Bicycle Club features irresistible flavors of Italian cuisine from family recipes using the finest ingredients. The reservation was easily made via OpenTable but was not necessary on a Sunday. Upon entering this two-story building, my partner and I were greeted by the host, and a few patrons were enjoying their meal on two enclosed outside patio decks with fans in the summer, so we joined them. The windows could be raised for that inclement weather, and heaters turned on when needed. They do have a main dining room, with the front bar much fancier. A few small bicycle artifacts make the place memorable and unique. We decided on the Philly Cheesesteak and Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad. Complimentary bread with dipping oil started our meal. The food was tasty with a healthy portion. The price was a bit pricey. The service was friendly; our server was Buket. We could recommend this place.

What service? The bartender made cameos behind the bar at random intervals. Most of the time, she was nowhere to be found. The bar was littered with empty glasses that sat there for the duration. I had to hunt her down for the check. I also didn't care for the location of the men's bathroom; literally right next to the bar. We also had to move our seats once because the opposite side of bar near the men's room was right next to the front door. It was freezing and the couple next to us had their coats on the entire time. The ambiance is old-school Italian in the best way: timeless, romantic, and cozy. It works just as well for an intimate date night as it does for a small group dinner. Bonus points for being BYOB. We ordered the veal marsala and the seafood pomodoro. The veal was pounded to perfection and swimming in a ridiculously addictive sauce. The seafood pasta was cooked perfectly and loaded with fresh shrimp, clams, and mussels and you can taste the quality and care put in the food. Meals are served with a salad to start, and you can expect to spend around $35 per entrée, which feels more than fair for the quality. We were genuinely impressed and were treated with a lot of attention throughout the meal. The concept of the restaurant being run by two italian twins was honestly so sweet. Highly recommend if you're looking for classic Italian done right without trekking into the city.

I felt a little like Ray Liotta in "Goodfellas". The service was excellent and our waiter rattled off an extensive list of daily specials and they all sounded wonderful. We settled on burrata and a fried vegetable appetizer. The burrata was good but the fried thing was even better. I wish I could remember what it was because it was so good. I guess that's what I get for writing my reviews 2 months later. It was some kind of vegetable stuffed with cheese, battered and fried. It wasn't too oily and all the flavors and textures went well together. For our entrees we went with linguini in clam sauce and cavatelli, broccoli rabe, & sausage. The linguini was a solid plate of pasta. Linguini, clams, sauce. It tasted exactly how you expect it would and the pasta was cooked well. The cavatelli was much more interesting to me. The different textures and flavors really made it a joy to eat. The pasta was al dente while some of the sausage had some crispy bits to it. And the broccoli rabe kind of made me feeling like I was eating somewhat healthy The ambiance was nice if not a little dated. Not bad though, it was cozy. I'd come back, but not too often. The romaine lettuce, croutons and house made dressing blended the perfect trio! If you are looking for an appetizer with a touch of sweet and spice, the sausage & broccoli rabe will do the trick. The protein and vegetable blended well together with some diced tomatoes thrown on top. As always, I can never visit any Italian establishment without trying the Chicken Parmesan. For the most part, it did not disappoint. My sole critique is the excess amount of moisture beneath the linguini. I also used any extra mozzarella cheese as a topping for the pasta and table bread. Named after its restaurant, the chicken ciao bella was breaded and pan fried. The lemon butter sauce definitely added flavor to the cutlets and the side vegetables were just as "bella" as the main entree. The coffee flavored dessert was paradise. The taste as so rich and pure in flavor, you definitely didn't need coffee either this final course. I highly recommend this location if you want a decent meal at reasonable price.
