Was not authentic! The chips were bulk store bought, salsa several days old and the tortillas definitely not authentic! So disappointed!

The pictures on the menu would indicate that this place would be delicious, however, I was shocked at how bland everything tasted. We ordered a quesadilla and a Combo 1 to try a variety of offerings. The only strong flavor that came through the food was of grease. Other Taco and Mexican restaurants may have the same level of grease, but provide more in terms of flavor. We came to red tacos because of the great reviews and were surprised in ways we didn't know we'd be surprised. First off for a Tuesday night at dinner it was very dead. We walked straight up to the cash register and ordered. My husband after ordering the combo #1 asked "do you have carne asada?" of which the employee replied, "no we only have birria" to which my husband asks "what is that?". The employee then shares that its goat meat. My husband and I look at each other and he says "well I guess we're feeling adventurous tonight" lol. Neither of us had ever had goat and were not expecting to eat it either. Our food took a while to come out and we were one of the few people in there so we expected it to be a bit faster. The horchata was 10/10 and we sipped on that while we waited for our food. The food came out and we ate it with a 100% open mind. Honestly it wasn't bad but it wasn't super flavorful either. Like pretty bland tasting even with the limes and other sauce that came on the side. Won't be coming back because it wasn't flavorful enough for me to pay another $30 for food but it was fun to try something new! read more

My wife and I ate there on Saturday. Very good, in fact great! I had to buy seconds because it was so good. Had the Combo 1 and a Mulita, then had to go back and get a Queso Taco and a Doradito. All were very good but liked the Combo 1 the best, but a little small for sharing with my wife. I could have had that all by myself. The hottest salsa was very good and the best. Not so hot it couldn't be eaten, at least not by myself or my wife. Will definitely be back, many times. read more

They have some of the absolute best Mexican food you could ask for. Prices are very reasonable, and while the tables were all occupied, there was no wait for your order. Food was great, everything else, not so much. Both girls at the ordering counter and pick up counter had horrible attitudes. Is this a family business? Are they being forced to work there? Are you not paying them enough? Either way, they need better training in customer service or they need to be in a role that doesn't require interaction with other humans. Seeing some of the other reviews mention the same thing is telling...it's obvious we didn't catch them on a bad day...this is just how they are...and I'm not sure why you would want people like that at the forefront of your business. Next, we waited 30+ minutes for our food, and so did everyone else in the restaurant. Meanwhile, people kept coming and going with to-go orders and large catering orders. If you're not capable of handling catering orders AND regular orders then pick one. read more

So dang good! Queso Tacos are super legit. The burrito is great too. Their salsa is good, but I wish they had a salsa bar with more options.

The food was bomb and so were the yummy agua frescas. The ambience was calm and had a lively atmosphere they played such good music, if you speak Spanish you'll know lol. I loved this place other than that the service was ok I mean they weren't the rudest nor the friendliest people ever. But when u ask something their tone of voice can come off as a bit annoyed I guess you could say. If I had to rate this place for just the food and without the service being a factor I give it a 9/10 with just the service factor of it, it's like 7.8/10 not quite a 8 but not as low as a 7.
