Awesome place to be at for your entire family. . We love RED ROSE PIZZA . I have love them since I was a child. My mom use to use them as a incentive . She would take us out to Red Rose if our grades was good. Now I bring my children and they love Red Rose. The only thing that I would add to making them better would be them celebrating someone birthday with a cake and candle along with staff singing. We brought my sweet 16 there last night , I informed the staff all though we was the last big family to leave. Yes surprise, for the sweet 16 I thought they would sing and surprise her with a song but they didn't. This sweet 16 has held the honoral all year long and took on all types of obstacles but held on . I'm so proud of her so what more to do than to bring her to one of the best family restaurants we love RedRose . Speakers in the bar area are badly blown and need to be replaced. Also they need a pager system so we don't have to listen to them screaming names over the intercom. No one wants to hear that interrupting their meal. Food is delicious. Been coming here my whole life. read more

I try to visit the area at least once a year, I live in California. The food was delicious as always and our service was exceptional. I observed our server, Maryann, as she was waiting on a woman who obviously had some mental health issues. While many of the waitstaff walked by her and ignored her, Maryann talked to her and treated her with dignity. She makes your already fantastic restaurant, even more desirable. If you go to Red Rose, ask to sit in Maryann 's section. read more

My family was visiting the Springfield area and we needed a place to meet friends for dinner, so I searched online for "best pizza in Springfield MA" and Red Rose came out on top. We were not disappointment. Very lively atmosphere. Good service. The pizza was very good and I would definitely have it again. Another patron at the restaurant told us they thought it was the best in New England. I don't think so. I have had what I consider to be better in CT but it is definitely worth eating there and it certainly is close to the best. read more

One perk is the pizza and salad size: in our party of 4, we had a large pizza and house salad, neither of which we could finish. Friendly staff, great food, service was top notch. We enjoyed a medium pizza which was very large and well worth the money spent. My only pet peeve was an up charge for blue cheese salad dressing. Red Rose is a family-friendly, red-sauce Italian pizzeria & restaurant. The waitstaff was very friendly and professional. Even without reservations on a Friday night, our party of 7 was seated within 10 minutes. As others have mentioned, portion sizes are huge. Prices are very reasonable. I considered taking off a star because I ended up overeating, but in retrospect, I guess the fault was mainly mine. Yum! read more

Red Rose is perfect for large gatherings and families to come together. I have been to Red Rose on 4 different occasions (this year) to celebrate birthdays, promotions, and community events. Every time I have walked in the hostess (who happens to be the owner's best friend) is rude and has some serious attitude. Each time I asked to be seated I say 'this is the last time' because the hostess is the rudest person I have ever met in the restaurant industry and it ruins my mood for the first twenty minutes -until a kind waitress like Jodi comes along. As the first person to greet your customers, she should be welcoming and engaging. Instead you get somebody who is entitled, rude, and treats you as if you are a bother. It is her way or the highway. I have inquired on why she acts like this, especially being the "face" for the restaurant. Some responses are "it's a rough crowd sometimes so she has her guard up.", other responses are "she is the owners best friend". With the casino coming in there is going to be some high end clientele that drop lots of money (like most of us do there) and with an "I am better than you" attitude she needs learn how to make a customer experience pleasurable from the moment they walk into the door and not walk around as if she owns the joint and do whatever she wants. read more

Red Rose is a family favorite. We have eaten here on a weekly basis for decades. The staff and service is always fantastic, and the food is amazing. If you are in the mood for pizza you cannot go wrong. Even better are the Italian dinners. The chicken parm is a favorite. Large baked chicken breasts topped with slices of cheese, in the house marinara sauce. After years of people begging them to sell their sauce, it recently appeared at local grocers and is just as good at home. If dining with a party, I recommend the house salad. Served in a big bowl, with home made Parmesan cheese dressing it is my favorite salad anywhere. No matter what you choose, you cannot go wrong at Red Rose! read more

I've only eaten here through take out from delivery express. It's a pain in the ass driving down there into the hood, to try and find parking, so for years I have mostly avoided going there. There food is legendary in the area. I stopped in tonight for takeout without going through delivery express. The place was absolutely insane busy inside. I wasn't aware you have to pay first and bring your receipt up to the takeout window. I learned that after about 15 minutes, and asking other customers. After about 30 minutes of hugging the wall so people could get by, I got my food, and tried to get through the crowds with a damn pizza box. Food was awesome. Loved the pizza, and even the boneless buffalo wings. They really should consider moving the takeout area, it really sucks for everyone standing in the way waiting, and for staff especially trying to get by. I'd really like to have a sit down dinner here sometime. I don't feel a proper rating can be given by getting takeout. Anyway, food is great, make a reservation, be prepared to wait, and pay for takeout first. read more

Great family owned restaurant that has spanned generations. We have been coming here for over 20 years and still consider it a favorite. The pizza is one of the best you will find in the Northeast. Their eggplant parm is awesome. If you have kids they will love watching the chefs toss the pizza dough through the glass windows into the kitchen. This is a great food at great price.. Best Pizza in Springfield, IMO. Great dough, tasty topings, and a pretty sizable menu. Only issue at RR is I'm not a huge fan of the big dining room. Not anything wrong with it - just not my cup of tea. Service has always been sensational there and it's not uncommon to see the same waitresses working there over an extended period of time. It's a super-well run restaurant. Private bar/room off to the side is really underrated. Nice, spacious little bar area back there with a solid selection of beers. There are 3-4 restaurants in Springfield that if you're in the city, you have to go to. This is one of them. read more

Pizza was good, We needed an extra table for a wedding party and the staff didn't make an effort to get us one just made us crowd in and try to hold your plate and eat. Plenty of room for 2 or 3 more tables. and tables were available. read more

The pizza here is great. It's a good firm crust the sauce is a little sweet and the cheese/sauce ratio is perfect. The base pizza comes with pepperoni and peppers. I got a small pizza which was $12 and it was the size of a large at most places. read more
