Ive been coming here for less than a year, I think I've had about 4-5 nail appointments including gelx and pedicure. My most recent visit was my final straw at this establishment, I had asked for a fill for my gelx nail set, the process initially went well. However, once I started adding color to my nails, I noticed that they looked bulky and wide. When I asked my nail technician to file the sides and remove the bulky nails, she continued to do so. It wasn't until the third time I asked her what else she could do to eliminate the bulky look that she explained that it was because it was "hard gel." I've had nails with hard gel before, but it has never looked this bulky and wide. When I had let her know I was unsatisfied with the nails and her lack of communication, she said she'd find someone else to redo my nails, because she doesn't have "time for me". I refused a new nail service because I think it's completely unprofessional to assume after an hour of service, I want to do it all over again?? I also think it's extremely unprofessional to even say that to me?? I demanded a discount for the wasted time and paid. Later the same day I got my nails filled, the tip chipped, and my frustration grew more and led me to write this review. I wish I had remembered her name but if I'll be honest, no matter what person I got that did my nails, I always ended up in dissatisfaction. I've been going here for several years after bouncing around from shop to shop literally all over town for years. I used to drive 30-40 minutes across town just to get my nails done how I like, until she wasn't consistent anymore and I had to keep searching. This nail shop is not only consistently good but also close to my house and in a good area, but it didn't become my favorite until Karina came. Karina has changed the game for me and my nails forever, she has raised my standards of nail care and has become a very special person and friend in my life. She is not only amazingly educated about nail care, but also a wonderful delightful person to talk to. She cares about people and the work she does and I just enjoy her presence so much and my nails have been healing since she's been taking care of them. I have one nail in particular that has been damaged for decades and literally was always breaking and splitting before I could get in for a repair. After being with Karina regularly for months, maybe a year? I don't know time it flies with her, but it's been long enough that I don't have the same problems with that nail anymore. I've had such a great experience at Red Rock Nails! The salon is always super organized and runs really smoothly, which makes every appointment stress-free. Karina is honestly amazing she truly cares about all of her clients and takes her time to make sure everything is perfect. Never have been and I won't go back. I asked for the classic pedi, which is $35ish. When I checked out they charged me 60. She said I had the deluxe, told her I asked for the classic. She didn't even flinch and still charged me. Terrible service. Oh, and I only got clear polish. The deluxe comes with gel. I was specific in saying I was in a hurry and didn't have time for that. BIG TIME scammers. Don't go. Someone suggested paradise up the street, I will try that next time. Do not get dip nails here. My first dip nail polish fell off two days after getting my nails done. I got that one replaced and went on vacation the next day. Two more fell off the next day and as you can see I had to make due by buying sort of similar polish from a drugstore. Then two more fell off today. I got them done a week ago. Been coming here to this location for over 15 years and have never had a bad experience. I love getting a deluxe pedicure and manicure usually with Andy, but truly all of the staff here are amazing. I am on my feet a lot and unfortunately not able to get in as often as I wish, but never judged for my rough looking tootsies. I rarely, if ever, do any colors on either of my nails, only buff, but lately have become fond of the gel manicure. I love the comfy pedicure massage chairs and the always sanitary and clean safety protocols they observe here. Just a terrific spot. Call to schedule though...they get busy! read more

If I could give negative star reviews, baby I would. I came here for dip powder on my nails and deep V French nails ( I dk if that's the actual name of design) anyway.. Vivi ended up being my tech. Expressed what I wanted and showed image. To start she doesn't add base coat on my nails before the color dip. I ask her about it several times ( because I want to make sure it's done properly) and express that I want that and she says I don't need it. Ok i went with it. The design looked nothing like what I wanted and the lines were very scribbled like from her not cleaning them up right. She asked me if that was ok and I said I'm sorry but no love . She tries to fix it but couldn't. I let her know I'm sorry but not only are the lines not clean you have too much gel on my nails it's clumpy. She gets upset with me says something in her language to someone else and the receptionist comes and tries to fix it and then finds someone else. Long story the new gal ( she was nice actually ) tried to fix it also couldn't but at that point I had already been there 2 hours and missed an important appt I had so I just settled for it . Finished and paid . Not a single apology. My nails begin to chip so I call and let them know and the receptionist lets me know she can schedule me with their male nail tech Tim and he can remove them and redo them from start. Ok I'm feeling better. Let me say this, Tim is not only rude and disrespectful you can clearly tell he's a Misogynist from start. Anyway he looks at my nails and asks me what I want, so I let him know i want them redone please. The gal said you could. He grabs my hand aggressively and I pull away. He says nothing is wrong with my nails. Despite them being chipped, the nails were so terrible. I showed him a picture and ask him can you tell me my nails look like this? He says yes they do. And I chuckle are you serious .. he looks at me in an aggressive intimidating way and says yes they do you just don't like them. I thought you were happy yesterday in a sarcastic way. He begins speaking in his language to Vivi in a way you can tell from his body mannerisms and tone of voice he's speaking Ill words. I honestly at that point was so upset. Wasted my time yesterday and now today. Not only that I'm being disrespected, grabbed aggressively. He says to me I was only gonna fix chips and I said no I was told you would fix them and he says lies. Says to me I remove them and you go somewhere else. I will admit. I said to his face he's a liar, rude and clearly a misogynist . Called him pathetic. How he's a joke and vented about wasting my time here. Needless to say the gal that originally did my nails ends up removing the nails. I ended up calling a friend about my nails because my intention today was to fix them and I'm upset over now having to find a last min appt for my nails.. and he interrupts my conversation and told him to do his job and not to worry about me. ( I was venting on the call about him being rude so he interjected) Anyway there's tension in the nail salon, Vivi cuts into my skin twice as removing my nails ( felt it was done purposely). Overall I got no apology, they couldn't admit that hey I was wrong, I did a crappy job let me fix it, let me make it right. Nope. None of that. This place clearly from Yelp reviews is trash. They are rude, employ men who don't know how to respect woman, liars and their customer service is seriously trash. Having an ingrown toe nail, she was very sensitive and made my toe finally feel better.
