I had a really mixed experience here. My nail tech was amazing and did such a great job. She took her time, was super sweet, and I loved how my nails turned out. The problem was the manager. I work in the mall and asked about the mall discount. She asked for a mall ID, which I didn't even know existed, so I showed my work shirt. She seemed annoyed right away and kept giving me rude looks. For pricing, it was $65 for the acrylic set and $20 for the French tip and designs, so $85 total. With the 10% mall discount, it should've been $76.50. Instead, I ended up paying $84.21, and I'm honestly still confused how that math adds up. When I tried to ask if the discount was included, she kept insisting it was. At the end, my nail tech stepped to the back for a minute, so I was waiting to give her cash tip. The manager saw I had cash and said she could give it to her for me. I told her I wanted to give it to my nail tech personally and chat with her for a second, and she said, "I am the manager, I don't steal their tips." I wasn't accusing her of anything; it just made things really awkward. My nail tech came back right after anyway. I knew I shouldn't have risked coming here. You'd think because it's in a nice Summerlin mall everyone would be a bit more sophisticated here or so here? Definitely not. I came in to wax my arm pits on a whim because I was already at the mall instead of going to my usual place. The wax was too hot. She double dipped the same stick throughout the entire service!! Extremely bad hygiene. You're supposed to dip the stick once, spread on the skin, then toss the stick and use a new stick every time you dip. How many times has that dirty double dipped wax been used on different people?? She didn't wash her hands or wear gloves before my service. She started plucking the stray hairs with tweezers that weren't in barbicide or anything. What the hell. When I left, I ran to the restroom and soaped my underarms and sprayed hand sanitizer hoping not to contract a virus/disease. Took all of 5 mins for my pits to be waxed and put me out $25. They need to take waxing off of their menu. But I'm sure, the entire shop isn't hygienic, not just the waxing after what I experienced. Very disappointing. Just dirty and dangerous. read more

WOW RUDESSSSSSS Owner/Manger EVER!!! Not welcoming at all. She seems like we were inconveniencing her, while there was no one else in the shop but us and Ann finishing up another client. My 5year old has been getting her nails painted since she was 3yrs old while I get a pedicure. We've been to so many nail shop and no one has ever been this rude! She was so excited to get her nails done and super smiling trying to talk to Julie and Julie just Barked and rolled her eyes, because she needed her to switch hands. LEARN some customer service! My daughter is not one to wiggle because she loves her nails painted. We stop here because we had an hour to kill before heading to Hip pop class down the street. Almost got up and left in the middle of this service if Julie the owner was rude to my daughter again.! My response to the business comment. I have no problem with a nail tech not being able to draw something HOWEVER my review was about the attitudes at the shop. From when I came in to change the color of my nails. When I said there was still glitter on my nails she was trying to put top coat over. The attitude I also got when I pointed it out. She set up the chairs but didn't put in any foot soak and didn't turn on the jets. She then started one and I asked about turning on our jets, she said relax m, your tech will do it when she starts. Walked in as new customer since I work at the Downtown Summerlin mall I needed a quick nail fix and I had found this nail shop. As soon as I walked in I was greeted asked what service I was needing today and immediately signed in. My wait time was only about 15-20 min which was expected since I was a walk-in and it was already 5:30pm. So I was willing to wait. I picked my gel color and I was introduced to Makayla. For not knowing what to expect from her I was nervous. But I trusted the process and the service began. She was sweet kind and easy to talk too. I showed her a pictures of what I wanted my nails too look like and the design / shape etc. Man... sis executed EVERYTHING!!!!!! They turned out so beautifully! Not only did she actually fix my broken nail like it never happens BUT she corrected the shape and the lumps from the previous nail person who had ruined my setSo I was very happy to see someone who had only been doing nails for 2 years knock it out the park! Most ppl that I'm not use to doing my nails hurt me but she didn't knick/cut me at lol. I was extremely happy the way my nails turned out. Price wise I was a bit shocked at how much it ended up costing me BUT after seeing the results of my nails - Aye it was well worth $75 + tip!!!!!!!! My mom who speaks little English but conversational went in yesterday to get her nails done, the lady who did her pedicure was really nice and respectful, whoever did her manicure (Apparently the manager) was rude and disrespectful. Mom and I went there a while ago and had the same treatment but wanted to give them a chance. Don't go to that place for a manicure unless you want to get some a-hole mistreating you. Ok, I rarely give a bad review But honestly the Service here was horrible I came in for an 11:00am appointment, and 5 people were waiting. I was not welcomed. She never looked up from what she was doing. She asked me to sign in. I said sorry? What? SIGN IN! Then she threw the price listing in the counter and said "Choose". Then I Chose, then she said "What Color" I said Clear. Then she said sit down we will be with you when we can. That was it. The rudeness and lady's lack of friendliness did it. Julie is phenomenal. She has been doing my nails for awhile now but I was out of town a ton this summer and fall and had to go elsewhere to get my nails done and no one was as good as her. Some were cheaper but they didn't look as nice or last as long. She is amazing. I am moving away from Las Vegas but anytime I am here visiting, I will be making an appointment to get my nails done. Arrived on time for my appointment. Started with a pedicure, asked for the simplest pedicure. My feet are not in bad shape, just really wanted my nails shaped and painted. Things I did not want: my nails drilled till they were hot (I had regular polish on), my feet scrubbed so hard they throbs, my feet cramped because the massage was squeezing them so tightly etc. Let my tech know to please stop what she was doing it was hurting me, she did not stop she actually laughed and said "a lot of people like this" in a laughing tone. I do not like this. I'm staying calm, and NICE. It was one thing after another after another. Finally, she cut my toe cuticle so badly blood poured from it. I got up, and told her we are done. My toes are not painted, they are damaged now as well. I still paid (and their card fee) $46.50 and walked out. Didn't want to make a scene in the salon. Called the salon, to speak to whoever is in charge (Julie) who basically told me well you sat there quietly for 30 minutes....you could have gone with another tech (there was only 2 others and they were very busy) plus how am I suppose to finish when my toe is bleeding??? I asked her to please refund my money, since nothing was done that I asked for and I'm injured. She said the best she could do was discount $15..... I just hung up. Don't go to this place. I was able to convince my friend to get a pedicure with me. Since we were already in Downtown Summerlin, we figured it would make the most sense to just go to a nail place that was close. Shame on me for not checking Yelp first. I immediately found it very strange how none of the employees spoke to each other. They hardly even spoke to my friend and I. I don't go to nail salons for conversation, but a simple "how is your day going?" goes a long way. Right off the bat, I was surprised (and a tad frustrated) that a basic pedicure costs $40. I get that the salon is located in Downtown Summerlin, but that seems excessive, especially since the pedicure was okay at best. Let me explain. The polish chipped after two days. Maybe I'd understand that if I was walking around town wearing sandals, but I was in my office wearing closed-toed shoes. Maybe it was because the tech who did my pedicure didn't use a top coat. As my friend and I dried our nails, we discussed our experiences and her tech only treated the dry skin on one of her feet. Interesting, since she has two feet of equal dryness. I was perhaps most annoyed when I went to check out and redeem the Yelp/Google Review discount they were advertising. That is, until I found out that you can only get that discount *after* you've written a review. Not sure how that makes sense, as a simple check in is acceptable for literally all other businesses who offer specials for Yelpers. Also, not sure how I can review a business to get a discount without having received the service yet. Regardless, I'm now eligible for that 10% off and have no desire to redeem it. Still the best place in the Vegas valley for a manicure and pedicure. This nail salon is clean and the pedicure massage chairs are comfortable, spotless, and relaxing. Due to recent work travel, I had not been here for a while. I was thrilled that Ann was able take me as a walk in for one of her top notch gel pedicures and also for the best manicure - which left my hands looking 10 years younger. Julie was there today also and although busy with clients, still went out of her way to say hello and indicated that she remembered me and asked how I've been (as I hadn't been there in a while).
