This place does not deserve not even a star. Such very very poor service. She can barely speak English and she's rude. She does not know how to communicate with a customer. It takes more than just putting polish on toes and hands to run a business. Places like this makes you want to run away from getting your nails done. This is the reason why I detest getting my nails done around here. She charged me to put nail polish on my toes when I paid for a full service pedicure last time I was there with out color. I told them I would just come back to get the color done later. I came back and she charged me extra. What insanity That's poor service and not good business practice. I got a fill done by an older nail tech that spoke and understood very little English and she was irritated because I couldn't find the polish cor I wanted , thats one grievance . She doesn't know how to apply nail pish because it looks streaky and not right , THATs the 2nd grievance . So the next day I came in to get a simple correction on the shape that requires the drill and the one lady Tammy ( not her real name ) she's Vietnamese or whatever . She was very rude and told me to ask the nail tech to fix the shape because she's the one that did the fill . She was extremely rude and yd me that I should've td her yesterday when I had the fill done that I should've gotten the shape I wanted then . I walked out pissed off and I'll never go back . I went in a while back for a pedicure and got skimped on the massage part. The lady with the short bob and bangs is honestly horrible at her job, she does everything half way, very lazy. I'm pregnant and was expecting a nice relaxing massage with my pedicure and she BARELY rubbed my leg for under 1 minute and moved on. I asked her nicely if that was it for the massage and she said 15$ more for extra massage then proceeded to finish and add oil to my leg at the end of the pedicure and rub my leg for 3 mins. honestly not the best service very upsetting when you were looking foward to that part that's apart of the pedicure. I come in on Thursday afternoon to get dip nail and pedicure. Tammy the boss or head nail lady there told me to come back tomorrow on Friday because she was leaving early. I made a 5:30p appointment for the next day. She started my nails immediately but it felt off because normally they will soak your nails while your pedicure is being done. As Tammy is finishing up my nails a group of four people walks in and state they called to all get a pedicure, which leaves no one to do my pedicure in which I made an appointment for! I come back from washing my hands and Tammy moves my purse and tumbler to the side. I said what about my feet I booked for a pedicure as well, she tells me yes someone will do it. I waited for about 15 minutes will more people walked in to get service before I left. Mind you I'm a frequent customer and to push me off to the side to take other people was beyond professional. It was cooo... walked in early and was taken quickly for a gel pedi. The space seems pretty clean and they have a decent selection of colors. However, they didn't have the ones I initially picked so I needed to look again when it was polish time. The process itself was good and my tech was fine. Nothing extra or great about it. It was faster than my usual so I felt she could have been a little more thorough. I was a little put off about a few things during my visit. My tech didn't really do a good callus job and it's part of the package. She also charged me for choosing 5 different colors which is fine but no one has ever charged me @ other shops. Located in the Trader Joe's parking lot, near Supercuts and the UPS store. Stopped in to get a gel pedicure. Picked out a color and was immediately seated in pedicure chair. Chairs have massage option, and timers that go up to 30 minutes. They have PLENTY of color options to pick and even Kiara sky dip powders should one be so inclined. It was VERY cold inside, so if you're into frigid cold you'll love the atmosphere. The massage they provide during pedicure is LOVELY. I asked for a file down, she clipped my nails then filed (minus 1 star), the pedicure water was like warm (asked for hot water as soon as I noticed). Gel pedicure was $50, regular pedicure $30. Wow. Since when did adding gel become dang near the price of a whole pedicure? Literally two days later the gel pedicure was basically flopping around in the wind, it was not adhered to the nail (minus three stars). I'd expect more longevity. read more

My go to nail place for years! I come here for my acrylics, and I always get my full sets done with Tammy. She's super nice and friendly, and is really talented at doing designs. I always show her an idea that I have for my nails from a Pinterest and she give me how much exactly what I'm looking for based on that. All the other nail technicians are very nice as well. My mom and grandma get their services with Phil. The salon itself is very nice as well. Well taken care of and always super clean. Relaxing environment and I always feel welcomed even if I get to my appointments early and have to hang out for a bit. read more

Worst nail appt ever. Come to get my nails filled today had an appointment. Showed up early was seated and the lady started taking off the gel polish from previous. Then 2 older ladies walk in with no appt and the owner told my tech to move me out of the nail tech seat and time for my pedicure. I told them the lady had not even filed my nails completely. They didn't care. So I sat in the pedicure seat like a good girl. The 2 ladies in the middle of the service start yelling how they are being cut and wanted to cancel. Then when I asked for Regular polish for my toes because I had time. The lady yells me $5 to remove the gel after already removing it. I argued the fact they removed me from my chair in the middle of service on my nails and now I have more time to let my toes dry while I still need my nails done. The service was horrible all the way around here. They really need to do better.! read more

Currently getting a pedicure, Iv been in the chair for about 5 minutes and immediately she cuts my big toe. She clipped to far back on my cuticles and it started bleeding. It hurt a bit but not too bad. She immediately put a cotton swab on it to cover the blood like I wouldn't notice. Then switched to the other foot and again started clipping to far back causing me to wince in pain. Luckily this foot didn't start bleeding. However she left it looking haggard. This cost me $30. I can't remember the guys name that I got because I completely forgot to ask but I know his station is in the way back by the restrooms and let me say he is the nicest nail tech I've ever had. He was very cautious with my nails and hands and extremely funny. I usually don't stick to the same salon because I like to get a feel of the area, but I'm def coming back. It's crazy to think that I wouldn't have came here if the first one I went to wasn't short staffed. I'm so glad they were because he did an amazing job!!! I paid $50 for my nails, they're a full set gel. It was worth every penny Update: about 3 days ago my nails started to fall off, they started to lift off my nail. I pulled it up to show the friend that I went with and it came off completely. I don't know if it's the glue or the nail. I'm not in a profession where they should be falling off like that. I've had them done before from another place and that didn't happen. They've also started peeling. The nail polish is coming off more and more everyday. What I asked for and what I got is two different things. Initially showed the lady what I wanted and she reassured me she could do it. 2.5 hours later and a 65 charge. I'm dissatisfied. I used to go to this place years ago, and recently started going again after my husband passed away. I had the best experience yesterday & I just had to share. I decided to treat my son & I to mani/pedi's for our upcoming birthdays. We were greeted and seated immediately by the owners who started working on us right away. They did a great job trimming, filing & painting our toes, and the leg scrub & massage felt so good. We chose dip powder for our finger nails & they came out so even & pretty. Somehow through our conversation I connected with the nice couple who did our nails. We chatted about life & our kids & the terrible state of their home country. They knew we were there for our birthdays. During our conversation the husband ran to Trader Joe's & returned with roses that he set next to his wife. I thought, how sweet. Then we paid and as we were leaving the wife handed me the roses & wished us a happy birthday! I was so floored by this gesture I cried. My husband got me roses often & it was a lovely reminder. I made an appointment 4 days in advance for Tammy at 10am. She showed up at 10:20a ignoring the fact that I was at her station.and gave me such attitude as if I was bothering her.... Ok fine, let's move on... I told her that I was getting married in 2 days are proceeded to Show her some pics of pink/white dip ombré nails that I wanted. She then told me that she can't do that in her broken English, that it was all pink powder.....she then told me to go pick out a color. I was confused as to why when I just showed her what I wanted with dip powder, then I asked her if she could put a simple design. (Literally the initial D+S on the ring finger. She shrugged and said oh no I can't... So after making me wait 20 minutes, threw attitude my way and pretty much told me she can't do what I want I got up and walked out! I Walked across the parking lot (a stones throw) to Secret Nails and showed Jimmy the pics of what I wanted. Not only did he do the most beautiful ombré nails and design but he went out of his way giving me the most elegant nails for my wedding day! FYI - Luv's Nails is horrible and they took all the motors out of the pedicure massage chairs saying some bullshit about COVID so no massage with the crappy pedicure! People were complaining! UPDATE: My step sister was charged the same price for her acrylic set as I was for dip nails. WHAT? She said they've never done that, and that t6he owner wasn't there. When the owner is gone, do the people up the prices? UGH! Now she won't go back and no other place has the dip nails(Which is what I need)! Previous review: I've been here three times and each time was great! I preferred the second guy, I wish I had gotten his name! I got my first pedicure here and I cannot wait to get another one! Now, acrylic nails never stay on. No matter where I go, they never stay on for more than a week. I explained this to them and it turns out more people have this problem than I thought. They explained that their new thing, dip nails, work better for those like me. It's been almost two weeks, and NONE OF THEM HAVE FALLEN OFF. It's a miracle! I got the dip nails and the basic pedi with gel polish, and it came out to $90. New regular customer! *ABOUT THE DIP NAILS* They do not do fills on these nails, I am not sure why not, but they don't. That is fine. I'm sure this place is usually great but my first visit wasn't so. To make a short review, my nail tech accidentally cut a nice piece of skin off my thumb, and did not show much sympathy. When she seen another customer show up waiting on her, she started to rush and decided to give me only 2 coats of my glitter gel. (You could still see my nail under the paint.) She didn't give me a discount for my bleeding thumb. I left very unhappy. And now 9 days later my gel Polish is already peeling off. :( read more

I think I have been going to Luv's about a year now. Every 2 weeks mani/pedi and gels. I tend to like classic red nails but have ventured out into sparkly and designs, etc. The last time I had my nails done they were stunning. (See photo with silver sparkly tips and white flower... better in person!) No matter where I go everyone comments on my nails. Perfectly shaped the way I like them and thin but strong. They are BUSY so make an appointment if you can and if you don't, then be patient and don't take it out on others that you can't get in right away. The nail technicians obviously talk about every customer in Vietnamese. It's funny when you watching Anjelah Johnson the comedian doing a hilarious skit about it, but not for reals. It's tacky.. and I find it a bit humiliating. I will not be returning to this place after my second attempt to give it another try. The quality of service is poor. Hi I went twice to this mails salon and had a horrible experience. First time my gel pealed after 3 days and second time Tammy did my manicure she did dip for me and ot came out so thick and she treated me horribly. She didn't even do the design I asked and paid for. She cut my nails so short that they hurts so badly when anything touches them and didn't even use ant cuticle softener let allow cleaned my cuticles when I paid for a full manicure not just a color change.
