First day was in the office where topics were covered via PowerPoint presentation and Pete allowed us to do dry firing with airsoft guns. Second day was at the range for about 1.5hr where he taught us safe operation (i.e. grip, stance, aiming, accuracy, loading, unloading). Special remarks: Pete's dedication to gun safety and safe gun operation is apparent in the way he teaches. He is passionate about safety and an enthusiastic teacher which made the class fun. One of his most valuable strengths is that he was able to teach in a way that I could understand. (Side note: I am afraid of guns but took this class to combat that fear!) Pete was able to keep the class engaged, provided constructive feedback, and attention to detail. With his guidance and support, I was able to see a significant improvement in my grouping and decrease my fear of guns overall. Bad experience from start to finish…read more We came in for a PPT and waited nearly an hour while the staff talked with someone who wasn't making a purchase. They weren't friendly or welcoming and seemed much more attentive to regulars or people they knew. They took the seller's ID right away, but only checked my information much later. They then denied the PPT because my California driver's license was missing a space in my last name, even though my passport card and FSC showed my correct legal name. They explicitly stated that the ATF does not allow this exact situation, but four other FFLs had no issue with the same documents and I could not find any ATF guidance supporting that claim. It felt like an excuse rather than a legitimate requirement. Had I been buying directly from them instead of bringing in a $10 PPT, I doubt this would have been handled the same way. I won't be returning.

She informed me that because I wanted my FSC laminated that it was going to be two separate charges. I said no problem. I handed her the card and said let me go grab the two dollars out of the car when I came back she took another customer and asked me to wait behind that customer until she was done. Why would I be waiting when I was already here? I left the card on the counter. I just went to grab the two dollars because why would I charge my car two dollars when I have that in the car after I just charge my card $106. I have a laminated machine at home, but I just didn't feel like playing with it. It was worth the two dollars, but I don't wanna interact with her no more because it's an uncomfortable feeling when I feel like I wasn't taking it into consideration she put me second to a stapler, and then second to another customer. She looks too young to work in the front anyway, and her speech seems a little off. The other lady was just fine. It was two women in the front. The other one she's a little short shorter than the younger one. She was doing just fine. When I walked in. She helped me right away. She got me checked in right away. She checked on me while I was in the store. Everything was fine with everybody except this one girl I just think she needs more training. This is a picture of my receipt because I paid for the gun before I went outside to grab the two dollars for her to laminate the FSC. So why didn't she handle my lamination before she took another customer? I have no idea.

Luckily they had what I needed so I left with 2 new mags and a couple boxes of FMJ to test out at the range. Will return for my next firearm purchase

After inspecting the ring, Sam the owner was confident he could restore it to its original condition and offered a very reasonable estimate. The ring was ready in 6 days. When I came in to pick it up, Sam had an almost excited look on his face as he prepared me for the big reveal. You could tell how proud he was with the final product. As he took the ring out of the bag, my face lit up - I could not believe how beautiful it was. It genuinely looked every bit as good as the day I had bought it. The missing stones were replaced, all the settings were inspected and reinforced, and the gold and diamonds were cleaned and polished. I give my strongest endorsement to Modern Jewelers. Small business, family owned, and a real credit to the community they serve.

So far so good I am not done with the process yet so here's what I'm gonna do I'm gonna leave a review hopefully I can leave it up and not change it at all because I have had a wonderful experience I went to a gun show on December 1 and we actually sought to pieces that we purchased And as we wait for the checks to come back I have to say that I saw the same exact piece at another table for $50 less over at the show but I went by the other table 3 times trying to give him a fair chance not one person greeted me not one person said hello not one person even raise their butt or their eyes out of the seat that they were sitting in to see that there was a customer interested in purchasing something right away the total opposite of the experience that I had with RED RIFLE At red rifle I was greeted I was cared for my husband and my two kids had exchanged names with the two men helping us by the time we left and the experience I was so genuine and it made me choose them instead of going back and getting an AR for $50 less And when someone that's not too rich can choose this it's defInately to say something about these folkS. Hopefully the appointment and the pick up goes as smooth as everything so far so good I am definitely going to be one of the gals who is a Ongoing customer of these folks probably for a lifetime read more

Jack and Red Rifle is AMAZING!!! Very trustworthy and knowledgeable. Years and years of experience. Knows his guns. I am a 53-year old semi-retired CPA. Bought my last pistol, Colt 380, 29 years ago in 1989 after I was mugged. Then, did some range shooting with my son a few years back and now into it again. I bought a Sig Sauer P226, Nitron 9mm, CA approved. Jack tested me to get my firearms certificate and while I passed it, he quizzed me on the answers I missed to make sure I knew all of the correct answers. My son and I took a 45 minute gun safety class in the past but I still learned A TON from Jack when I picked up the Sig. I learned the 3 step sequence to make sure a pistol is unloaded, avoiding muzzle swipe, and how to take control of the pistol to make sure you manage it as opposed to it managing you. He also knows all the rules on California guns sales, roster guns, non-roster guns, the rules related to sales to LEO's, etc. Just an awesome, trustworthy guy with a sneaky sense of humor. I probably will not purchase any more firearms (well, I might) but if I do, there is only one place to go for a great selections, good price, and someone you can trust ..... Red Rifle!!! Myself and my wife visited Red Rifle recently, we both owned weapons prior to our visit. The knowledge and selection available prompted us both to make additional purchases. For the size of business we were amazed of selection, the Owner had extensive knowledge of firearms and didn't mind sharing his knowledge. JACK is a very matter of fact type of person, which I personally don't mind & frankly is needed, dealing with weapons and the safety mandatory to be a responsible gun owner! This place is awesome... NOT. It's great if you want Jack's two very large dogs to jump on you and harass you the whole time you are there. He shows little control over a St Bernard and some woolly dog while you're there. I tolerated that until I paid him to remove my flash hider. He left a crush washer on, knowing that they are 1x use only. I asked him if he removed it like her was supposed to and he acted surprised that i wanted the new washer (which came with my muzzle brake) put on my rifle. I told him I didn't like what he was doing and he told me that I will let him speak and not interrupt him again. He lives at his dirty little shop and his knowledge about weapons outside is comfort zone is questionable . Do yourself a favor and find a better gunsmith. read more

I should of came here in the first place !! Went to turners to buy a holosun red dot and they sold me the wrong one because the personal who helped me didn't know what model was needed for my slide, so once I went back to return it for the correct model they didn't have the one I needed. I decided to stop by red rifle and they took care of me really quick and very professional, right away you could tell he knew what he was doing. He sold me the correct model and mounted it and zeroed it in for me at no charge highly recommend these guys and for sure I will continue to purchase from them. I have now been to Red Rifle Twice and the gentleman working the floor has been nothing but professional and helpful with his services. He does not have the negative attitude normally stereotypical of gun store workers and has been incredibly helpful and friendly with both of my firearms purchases. The store itself is also neat, has a wide variety of both practical and more fun/unique guns, and the two dogs there are just the best and so friendly. Excellent experience working with Jack and Dash. They did a fantastic job in not only navigating me through the rather tedious CA requirements, but in professionally answering any questions that i had regarding the firearm and their gunsmith services. Although it's not obvious walking in, they also have an excellent inventory of parts and accessories. They also worked diligently to get the specific firearm I wanted in these crazy supply choked times. Added bonus: they have the two most chill dogs to hang out with. I brought in my Colt Gold Cup National Match to get a new front sight staked on since the original came off during a shooting session. Covid caused delays and after 3 months I just went back and took the pistol home since it wasn't being worked on. I guess gunsmiths are scarce. I realized I was going to have to repair my 1911. Bought a Strobel front sight staking tool online and staked on a fiber optic front sight myself. Red Rifle taught me the hard way that real independence is being able to do things yourself. 5 stars for giving me a real lesson I'll remember the rest of my life. read more

Had been to a couple gun shops in California (originally from TN) and have had an overall terrible experience. That was up until I came across Jack at Red Rifle. Was shopping for a Glock 19 and got it right from Jack. Hands down the friendliest, honest, and most reasonable dealer I've come across here. Jack is well in tune with his customers and their needs. How many other places will the owner of the store go out of his way to meet you on a Sunday and show you the ins and outs of your firearm. I'm fairly new to this hobby and frankly it's pretty intimidating going to the range your first time not knowing how everything works. Jack really cares about the sport of shooting and wants his clients to know that he pours his heart into his work. Jack at Red Rifle has a small store that provides a FFL service that is free from long lines or waiting times, has prices that are similar to Turner's sales prices...for all of the firearms he sells. If he doesn't have what you want at the time, he can get it usually within a couple of days, as long as it is available to him from his wholesalers. His store is located near the Carson Mall, convenient for me since I am in the South Bay. Jack does private party transfers also. read more

This shop is awesome! I work law enforcement and Jack was very helpful and made it easy to get my off roster firearms. I talked to him a few days in advance and when I showed up to the shop my stuff was already in. Quick in an out. Having the shop by appointment is nice because you don't need to wait in line. Show up and boom you're ready to go. Good inventory and if not in stock he can get what you need very fast. Pricing was very good too! read more
