Just got our pool tested for leaks. Jon was great, on time and very professional! Did a great job. Thank you so much!

Red Rhino holds their employees to the highest standards I've ever seen in a company. To say I'm impressed is a strong understatement. Over the past several years I've consistently worked with people and companies who severely lack attention to detail, fail to communicate properly and almost always fall short of expectations. My faith in company professionalism was tarnished - until now. We hired Red Rhino to detect a leak in our high end pool built by a luxury pool builder in the area. The leak was suspected due to the need for high chemical use and a more than double water bill. From the first phone call to the final follow-up call, Red Rhino far exceeded my expectations. Because of the complicated jet system in our spa, the leak took many visits to detect. Several hours were spent and several different men worked on it tirelessly, even into the evening hours regardless of the cold temperature. They always kept the screen door closed as I asked so our small dog wouldn't escape. Our dog loves to put the ball and in the pool and have humans fetch it out. Each man working on our spa would even get the ball for her! In a situation like this, with multiple different people I would absolutely have expected a break down in communication where someone would end up leaving the door open or not know where the person before them left off or something else to go wrong. Their communication and attention to detail is second to none. They have an app they use to track EVERY detail of each visit. One of them even showed me their side of the app where they can see notes left by each person. They continuously documented details such as "be sure to leave the screen door closed for the dog" and even mentioned her name and behavior. Each and every person who worked on this job was 1000% professional, very personable, incredibly kind, thoughtful and even apologetic for the length of time it was taking to locate the leaks. They took the time to show me the leaks when they found them and explained all the details. They also took clear, specific photos and underwater video of the leaks which can be seen at any time on the customer portal. They documented everything and we have access to all of it. Just when I thought they couldn't get any better, they discounted the cost of the repairs because of how long it took them to find the leaks in the first place. It's uncommon for them to take more than one, maybe two visits to locate a leak and since mine took many days, they didn't feel it was the right thing to do to charge us the full cost even when we expressed it wasn't their fault. If I could give Red Rhino 50 stars, I would. I hope we don't have any future leaks but if we do, we would hire them again without hesitation. I simply can't recommend them enough! Every company across any industry could and should learn from Red Rhino's integrity, professionalism and work ethic. They set the bar and every company should strive to meet that bar! read more

Raul, our technician from Red Rhino, arrived punctually and provided my husband and me with a comprehensive explanation of the tests conducted to identify the source of our leak. Raul utilized advanced technology and sophisticated equipment to accurately locate concealed leaks within complex pool systems. He carried out thorough diagnostics, including pressure evaluations and subsurface main drain assessments. Raul demonstrated professionalism through courteous conduct and clear communication, explaining the repair process in detail. It is evident that Red Rhino emphasizes comprehensive employee training, as evidenced by Raul's professionalism. Tomorrow, we will submit a photograph illustrating water loss over a 24-hour period; subsequently, he will determine the appropriate next steps to resolve the issue. Thus far, we are highly satisfied with Red Rhino's services and the assistance provided by Raul for our pool. read more

I recently had Red Rhino inspect and repair the pool at a home I just purchased. They were great! professional, thorough and worked hard all day to replace a skimmer and repair a pool leak for me. being a new pool owner, I welcomed being walked through the process before, during and after the repair. The technician, Armando, even called back later to make sure I had gotten the system working well after refilling the pool and following his instructions. I highly recommend them! read more

I wrote a review back on Nov 24 and I expressed my displeasure about not receiving my overpayment in a timely manner. Well once they realized what happened they went above and beyond to make things right for me. I am very happy with the the way they handled things and took complete responsibility for the delay. They have changed my mind and I would use them again if I had a problem. A special Thank you to Christian for his condolences and act of kindness with the death of my Sister. read more

We had a leak in our pool, but we didn't know where the leak was. Dale and Darryn came out to "diagnose" the problem. The source of the problem was found quickly and the repair was set up for the following week. Steven was the repair guy. All 3 were very professional and super sweet! I can't speak to the value because I have no reference, but to repair the leak around the light was around $2000. If this seems pricey, remember you get what you pay for. Side note, the pool had to be completely drained. Definitely reach out to your water company, ours helped with the cost of water to refill an 8000 gallon pool. read more

I had a leak in my pool and called Red Rhino. My technician Raul arrived promptly as promised. He spent several hours thoroughly going over my entire pump system first then went into the pool and found several leaks. He spent time and showed me each leak. He made repairs. And followed up with me the next day to see if the repairs had stopped the leaks which it has. Thank you Raul and Red Rhino. read more

Business recommendation .... Red Rhino A+ I had a leak in my pool. I decided to try a different company than the one I had used in the past. I saw recommendations on Nextdoor for Red Rhino. I gave them a call a few days ago. They were able to get me in quickly which was important as I was adding pool water every other day. The person making the appointment by phone was very nice and professional. Today 8/27 Alan arrived on time. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the testing and leaks. He answered any and all questions with easy to understand language. Explained all options available for dealing with the problem. This company was the best! They really test everything unlike other companies. They send detailed information and photos of your pool to your email. I will def be using Red Rhino in the future Alan was a perfect fit for me. read more

Add Ricky E's name to the list of Red Rhino All-Stars. Yesterday, Sam came and located the leaks I knew were there but had been able to locate by myself. Today, Ricky arrived, drained the pool and resolved the problems. Professional, thorough, and efficient. Thank you, Ricky. Thank you, Sam. Great job, Red Rhino. read more

I would highly recommend this company! Everyone we worked with from beginning to end was kind and professional, starting with our first phone call to schedule an appointment. We were able to get an appointment quickly, and the technician did a thorough job, researching our problem, which ended up being many leaks. He was able to quote us a price That was reasonable right on the spot. In less than 48 hours they sent a very qualified technician out to do the work. We are very happy with the job that was done. read more

Forrest was a very polite technician. Unfortunately, while he was inspecting my pool for leaks at $350, he told me that there was bad news, and it would cost to fix 1200.00, but there was a $200 discount and said it would be $995. As time went on, more bad news. It was now going to cost $2200. As he inspected further, more bad news. It was now going to cost $3000, and so we agreed I would put another $250 on top of the $350 to secure a appointment (I assume to go toward the total). But wait, more inspection and it was now going to cost $4500. Not too professional, if you ask me. Inspect. Go over all possibilities, write up a form and present ONE estimate. Sort of sounds like a con, don't you think? I will not be using them. read more

I have never experienced such trouble with a company in my 50 years of home ownership. leak was detected with no problem until repairs were started. Pool was drained about 14 inches. repair was done. to their satisfaction, but when I inspected it there were several areas of concern. skimmer was replaced but not flush with deck, cement replacement was not tinted to color to match. second time they came out to fix the repair work they said they didn't have the tint to match, third time out they had to drain pool again to tint the cement. I had been told I had a one year warranty on the work done. I had to call them four times to finally receive it. they told me I would get some kind of credit for water drained twice. I had to call five times to get something in writing about that and now I am told "I" have to contact the water company to resolve that. I would not use this company for any repairs unless you have nothing else to do but make calls to them for answers. what a horrible business to do business with. what a nightmare. read more

I wholeheartedly recommend this company! Apparently, we had a leak in our pool for quite a while and had not realized it. When we started with a new pool care service, the guy/owner told me he does not usually make recommendations but he had heard of Red Rhino, and he made sure to say, in so many nice words, please do not hold me responsible for their work if you use them. WELL, LET ME TELL YOU, HE CAN RECOMMEND RED RHINO TO EVERYONE!!! That company is so busy and they tell you up front to give you a proper expectation - I loved that. And they communicated with me by email to remind me of my appointment - I loved that too. The Leak Detection Technician, Tyler, showed up in a wet suit and checked EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE for the water flow - worth the first appointment fee compared to other home water leaks I've had. He gave a full assessment and a quote. YES, their service is pricey BUT it is WORTH to have no more worries! The 2 Technicians came out and replaced the skimmer and repaired the leak in ONE DAY. Let's SWIM! read more

When you get a $500 water bill, you know you have a problem! Got a new faucet for the kitchen, but no that wasn't the culprit, it was the pool....thinking that still, sends chills down my back. We had supposed experts, divers, a new pump, the pool dyed, to look for leaks..... Nothing worked. We were way out of our element! We know how to do the maintenance, chemicals, cleaning & party time of the pool.... that's it. We even looked into filling the pool in with dirt, STOP , not that easy & very expensive. Along the way someone mentioned red rhino, located in Holiday, in Pasco county. Red rhino was a savior!!!! They came out several times. What a fabulous crew to work with. They were so knowledgeable & quickly made a daunting & scary repair, relatable & understanding. Very thorough, easy to work with, skilled technicians. They presented us with a comprehensive appraisal with pictures, explanations, prices & specifics. Trust me you don't want to do these repairs to your pool, you need a professional!! Red Rhino is 100% professionals, responsible & skilled....they know their business. As a pool owner,, my biggest fear was cost, money gone, so I should do something myself, WRONG! If my first call had been to Red Rhino, I would have saved so much money. Dying your pool, getting people out in wetsuits... wasted my money. Now I've seen theight & logic & my fears are gone & Red Rhino is in my phone to stay!!! What's a girl to do? Chase her tail in fear? No call Red Rhino first & all will be just fine. read more

they repaired a leak in the jet line , yet pool was still leaking slightly. The tech came back out and determined there was a leak in the skimmer. Skimmer repaired, cosmetically good job. I had previously written a bad review, Branch manager Adam Gragg contacted me and reviewed my situation. I was impressed that he took the time to come out personally and assess the situation. I'm a happy customer now. read more

Wonderful experience. On time for finding the problem. On time for fixing the problem. And great follow-up. From the start to the finish the team was friendly, polite and professional. Can't remember all their names, but each was a member of Tom's crew. Also Mojo was the last to leave the day of the fix and ensured us, if there was anything that needed to be done or any questions, be sure to contact him or Tom. As a follow-up also, Tom called us and did some onsite follow-up work. Great job guys! Highly recommend. Walt & Sue read more

"The crew was fabulous", very impressed. Chase & Sean were the initial "technicians" they came out to do a thorough run through from equipment, structural, pressure, you name it they inspected our pool almost 2 hours. I knew with all the rain central Florida was getting our pool was losing water but that's when I contacted Red Rhino Leak Detection. After the inspection they explained the report they generate from a tablet and they emailed me a written report within 3 hours. They were patient and thorough and I made it clear we do not want a BanAid fix but a permanent fix. They guarantee their work up to 1 year and after checking out their company and getting a "stamp of approval" from our regular Pinch A Penny technician Trey they use them exclusively so I went ahead an booked them in less than a week and then the "repair technicians" Jeremy & Guillermo came out and did a run through with me and explained what will be done and do we have any questions. Well those 2 were both awesome & so professional. We have a salt system pool with a Pebble Tec interior finish and they really worked hard to match the Pebble Tec finish on my pool walls and they did, I was thrilled! You bet I recommend anyone to contact this company. Thanks again guys! Truly a professional company. read more
