Keeping a pool clean and balanced every week takes more time than most people expect, so having someone dependable handle it has been really helpful. They show up consistently, keep the pool looking great, and make sure the chemicals stay balanced so the water stays clear. A couple of times they also pointed out small equipment issues early, which helped us fix them before they became bigger problems. What we appreciate most is that they're easy to communicate with and straightforward about what the pool needs and what it doesn't. No pressure, just honest service. If you're in the Clearwater area and need someone to maintain your pool or check your equipment, Clearwater Pool and Patio has been a solid company to work with. It's nice knowing the pool is always clean and ready to use.

Then I find out he was 'released.' I talked with staff and they became the middle man for management. We had visited a local recommended pool supplier about putting in a handrail for our inground pool…read more They said we could not put in a desired stainless steel hand rail since it was not a new installation. We did not like the plastic, cheap looking solutions they offered and the price was very high. We decided to look around and went to Pinch-A-Penny in Lutz, FL for something else but asked if they could help us find what we were looking for. They the exact model we were looking for and said they had an installer. The price was very reasonable so we bought the hand rail and I called Michael's to schedule the install. They quickly gave me a date a few days out. The tech's sent me a text to let me know they were on there way and I had the part ready for them when they arrived. They took the time to listen to my thoughts on the install and they had some very good recommendations on where to install. I was told they would tell me what type of escutcheons to purchase for the install but they had anticipated what I needed and had it with them. This saved me a trip to pick some up. They had to drill two holes in my pool deck and they did a good job limiting the dust and cleaned up after they cemented the handrail in place. While there, they took a look at a pool light issue and were able to quickly determine the problem and took the time to educate me on how the system works. I would not hesitate to call them for any pool issues in the future.

I only give a negative when a business really deserves it. I don't do reviews on that other browser site, nor social media. As you can see, I previously gave CK them a 5-star review, but my recent experience deserves an honest and factual update. Short version: Please get a 2nd estimate! Long version: Our pool pump was leaking bad and needed a replacement. A CK tech came out promptly, reviewed our situation, and said they would email an estimate. I thought the estimate was not only high, but very high. I got 2 other estimates and they were far less. Upon further research, I noticed CK hoped to charge us an $800 markup for the pump itself and charge us DOUBLE for the separate controller. I completely understand a markup, as they have to stay in business, but these were outrageous. Then the tech spent a great deal of time telling me he could not even install the new pump unless we agreed to have a very expensive "bonding rod" installed and pulling up our pavers. Since our plumbing runs under that area, I really wanted other opinions before I agreed to such a drastic and expensive change. Well, it turns out we already had a bonding rod there, not 12 inches away from our old, leaking pump. Was this an honest mistake, or something more? I guess that is something for the owner and his tech to decide. So, we used another company, saved over $1,500, did not need our pavers pulled up, nor pay for an unnecessary "bonding rod" that was already there. I once was very happy with Chlorine King but no more. If I had read the owner's responses here, I would have never even called them about replacing our pump in the first place. If he put as much effort into customer service as he does his negative review "defense?" Both he and all of his customers would have a lot less headaches!

Despite paying my bill on time every month, my pool was often not serviced unless I called to complain. Since I live out of state, I trusted this company to properly maintain my pool, but unfortunately that was not the case. Each time, I was told that a technician would be dispatched, but the problems continued. I honestly don't understand how this company is still operating with this level of service. It's especially disappointing because I work in the customer service industry myself, and I would never treat clients this way. Customers deserve reliability, communication, and the service they are paying for. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Update: I was contacted and we discussed all my concerns. They were quick to provide some chlorine…read moretablets and ensure that I was happy. I appreciated the communication and kindness! **************************************************** Overall happy because they kept my pool nice and clear. Communication could be much better. One visit, they removed my pool robot-vac and set it aside. The visit log just simply said "vacuum not working". It had just been working the day prior, so I took a look and it had a piece of mulch that caused it to seize up. Removed the debris, and it worked just fine. No big deal. On another visit, we noticed they did not put any chlorine tablets in the floater. It was just empty. A few days before their next visit, I put my own chlorine tablets in the floater. But when they did their weekly visit, I come home to find the floater set aside on the pool deck with NO tablets in it. My brand new tablets I had just put in the floater were just gone. The visit log said, "Need a new chlorine floater" It was an old floater so the "floor" of it fell out (but you could put it back and as long as you gently place it back in the pool, it held the tablets). I called them and left a voicemail describing how my tablets just disappeared because they decided the floater is no good. I said it would be helpful if they would at least leave 2-3 tablets for me so I can put them in a new floater. So that was annoying, and they didn't even call back. Finally, I had been planning to take over pool care on my own, so I later sent an email letting them know. I know they got the message because they didn't come, but it just would be nice to be acknowledged when customers call or email. Again, overall, they kept the pool clear, so I appreciate that much. If I could do half stars, I'd say 3.5 out of 5. Keep in mind that while they empty baskets (including the one at your pool equipment), you (or someone) still needs to clean the filter once in a while. This helps your filter last longer and do a more efficient job.

Our salesperson Glen first met us at our house and helped us plan a pool that would fit into our small yard. Then there was plenty of options to choose from in their showroom, and he provided us with excellent advice on the finishes and choices. Once the project got underway, there were no unpleasant surprises, and Robert the project manager became our contact. Robert operates at a next level of excellence that made everything run smoothly and seamlessly. While scheduling every step of the pool construction he kept us in the loop and was very accommodating to our requests to integrate multiple other projects into the timeline (generator and tiki hut) so that other companies had access to the yard at important moments, such as after the pool was "shot" but before the pavers went down etc. All of the contractors involved (electric, plumbing, digging, concrete, paving etc.) were professional, polite and knowledgeable and did excellent work. Jimmy, , the other Jimmy, and Travis wrapped things up with us in the final days, and again they were knowledgeable, professional and polite. This is the second time we have installed a pool from scratch (previously we did one in New Mexico), so we had a previous experience to compare this to. Natural Springs Pools was notably faster, more detailed, and more organized than our previous NM experience. We are thrilled with the final result and happy to recommend them!
