They fixed the leak well back in 2022 but be aware that for the cost of a leak fix with Red Rhino, you could almost have your entire pool lining redone. We got quoted almost the same price in 2025 price to redo the whole pool lining (grind it down fully AND tile) I regret not redoing the lining completely for almost the same price read more

Tony came out and found two leaks in the pool . One in the skimmer box and one in the tile area . He did a great job in a timely fashion . It was definitely worth the money to hire a professional to pressure test all the lines and go over the entire pool . They will be back next week to repair the diamond bright and tile in the skimmer box area mean while they applied epoxy to the areas to temporarily stop or slow the leak read more

I had Red Rhino come out to do a leak detection on my pool. They noted several areas where there were leaks most notably around my pool light. They patched the area temporarily which was around the light niche. They told me the cost to repair the light niche which involved removing the concrete around the niche. They came out, one technician who did not seem very confident about this repair but he finished it. After he left the spa where this light was leaked water. I call red rhino and they came out saying thefe was a leak in the conduit to the pool light. The technician repaired the leak with epoxy putty saying it was a temporary fix and that i needed the entire niche replaced now for more money when the niche was never the problem or the conduit. Now the tehporary patch job is leaking. After reviewing numerous videos on you tube on how to repair leaking conduit they should hVe used butyl tape around the conduit followed by epoxy after roughing up the metal and pvc conduit. In addition the light should have been left out for 24 hours to fully harden since any movement would potentiate a future leak. Well no butyl tape or waiting to put the light back. So now i have a leak and a niche that was fine before now leaking. Sorry but this is not the way to do business. I am not impressed. I contacted red rhino after the niche was resealed the first time and i never received a response. I am not very satisfied with their work and would think twice about using them. I am seeking another repair service where they use scuba gear instead of holding their breath to perform repair work. Awaiting a response from Red Rhino. read more

We had several leaks that required digging up the skimmer, hot tub drain and two pool vents, it was an all day job. RR did an excellent and expert job. Price was reasonable and work was not noticeable when done. read more

The quality of their work was great and they left the area clean, too. It was worth the money to put my mind at ease and I now know my pump area has the issues I''m having to report. Jason was very communicative, helpful and quite knowledgeable. read more

These guys are the BEST. I was losing water and contacted them. My pool is almost 30 years old. They found leakage in one of the jacuzzi inlets and recommended replacing all 5 because of the age of these. I agreed and I was amazed the effort expended in each inlet. No simple cap replacement; concrete removed and new piping and end caps. The pool now is great! Leakage gone. I will use no other company if another leakage occurs. read more

we had a pool leek for some years, and we chose to hire Red Rhino - Nick and Chris, they are the BEST. They were on time, punctual, worked extremely hard, and very polite. Our pool is back in business, they came back the next day to take all the debris. I will give them 10 of 10! I recommend them if you have an issue with your pool. THE ABSOLUTE BEST! Look, it completely sucks to have a pool leak. But, if you are in need of leak detection and/or a repair, these guys do their best to make it as painless as possible. We've had two leaks over a 15 year period, and both times we went with Red Rhino to find and fix the issue. They provide quality series at an affordable price, and they stand by their work. The technicians explain what they find in clear terms, and the repairs are done quickly and with minimal disruptions. Our most recent leak required them to cut into our concrete pool deck, and they did their absolute best to minimize any impacts to the appearance of the deck. Highly recommend Red Rhino! read more

Thank you to the kind person who picked up the phone. I had some questions about leak detection and this fine human happily answered, but also went above and beyond. She asked many investigative questions about my pool. She offered me several suggestions, including a diy test. She didn't try to sell me anything at all, or push me to make an appointment. She volunteered her knowledge and sense of calm. Although I'm not sure I need their services yet, I'm thrilled to keep Red Rhino in mind as I search for a possible leak. Their great Yelp reviews plus the demeanor of their kind employee mean a lot! I often look back at my reviews to recall what company I have used in the past; this is as much a thank you as it is a personal reminder to try out Red Rhino in the future if I should need their services. Thanks again! read more

Great service and work. My pool was leaking from the skimmer, so I requested a repair and John Callender came the next day and did a amazing job! He kept me inform with everything he is doing and showed me the leak and explaining all the questions I had. I truly had a great experience and I am highly recommending Red Rhino. Especially I'm recommending John Callender to do the repair. He is truly a professional and you can tell he cares about his work and his customers. Thank you guys so much!! read more

I've had a slow leak for the last year that has grown into a 40,000 gallon loss in one month and I spent countless hours trying to isolate the leak Unfortunately there are so many inept unskilled pool leak repair people out there that it took three months for me to eventually get a recommendation for red rhino I've never witnessed such a professional organization in South Florida in my 30 year time here. The first pool attendant and leak detector found the leak in 20 minutes in some obscure area under the patio....He then found other leaks in the structural cracks in the pool long waiting for repairs Three weeks later they spent an entire day repairing the cracks and the pool is filling now and it looks absolutely beautiful Let it be known there is an incredible pool leak detection company that repairs pools out there in South Florida read more

Kiddos to the entire Red Rhino team. An extra shout out to Dave for being super responsive and helpful.

My experience with Red Rhino was excellent. We'd had a pool leak for awhile that another company couldn't repair. It took Red Rhino some time to evaluate where the lead was occurring. They were thorough, professional and easy to work with. And the leak was found, unfortunately, required breaking up the cement to get to the pipes to repair, but the technician did all of the work and replaced the concrete patch nicely. read more

I have been in the pool business over 20 years, I have seen so many leak companies come and go- or rather should I say, I know or many many people that do a quick start up company and realize it is work! Red Rhino is far the best - they are running a business that is being built to be here for many many years.... I refer them, and have worked behind them and every home owner or community is delighted and Thank me for the referrell! Makes for a nicer day. Thank you- Red Rhino Team! read more

I would never recommend Red Rhino Leak Detection to anyone. I called them when my pool was losing 3/4 inch of water per day. Their technician, Josh, came to my home to check out the pool and investigate the leak the same day. So far so good. After a couple hours, he informed us that we needed to replace the skimmer and the return line, which were both leaking. He wrote up a quote for a $2,700 complete repair. However, he failed to tell us that he decided to remove the old repair putty that was in place from a prior repair. Thus, as soon as Red Rhino left, the pool began leaking 6+ plus inches per day, a dangerous amount of water to be leaking from your pool. So, he charged us $300 to diagnose the problem but made it much worse, thereby putting us in a position that we had to immediately fix the problem. When I called Red Rhino to report that Josh's removal of the parts had greatly exacerbated the leak, their explanation was that "well, the prior repair was failing anyway." This is unprofessional, unacceptable, and dishonest to make the leak worse by removing a part without telling the customer, thereby increasing the likelihood that the customer will follow through with the $2,700 recommended repairs. I called Red Rhino the next day and they sent Josh back to replace the part he had improperly removed and the pool has not leaked AT ALL in the last 24 hours. Their $300 diagnostic "service" recommending that we pay $2,700 in repairs was a complete and total rip off and I will NEVER ever recommend to anyone. read more

We had the best experience using Red Rhino. We have a pool from 1975 that got a 6 foot crack in the deep end. We called Red Rhino and the were out within a few days to access the work. Then they were able to add us to the schedule in two days. Brady, the technician, was the most polite, knowledgeable, well mannered man. He did an amazing job and the work was done in the timeframe promised. All of this plus a reasonable price for the work that needed to be done. I would refer them to anyone who needs repairs done on their pool! read more

First time customer. Called Red Rhino to locate a pool leak on our thirty year old in ground pool. I can't begin to express my satisfaction with their service! They reconfirmed the appointment a few days before the date, on the day of the appointment the tech called to ask if he could arrive 30 minutes 'EARLY' for the service call. Yes, EARLY! The tech really knew his stuff and located not one, but two leaks. Now I'm really impressed! Service like this is very rare in S. Florida. it get's better... they're coming in two days to repair the leaks! AMAZING.. Red Rhino is now the ONLY company I'll be dealing with for leak issues. read more

Red Rhino is good for leak detection. They are very thorough. However, I would recommend getting quotes from other pool repair services because they charged me $2700 to fix a leak at the pool light and another one at a spa return outlet. The job took a single repairman less than half a day. They give a one year guarantee. read more

I made appt with Red Rhino for first time d/t a slow leak in my pool they are coming next wk. Reading reviews, little nervous about some of the reviews, some really great some really bad. However I did speak with a really nice lady making the appt. had to change appt date d/t heater pool company had to come out first to service heater and they were really nice and gave me the option on what day for them to come. I will let you all know how it goes. We see crack in side of pool wall so hoping it can be patched up but not sure how all this works. Sound like they are a good company but we have been mislead before with " seems like nice company" . Will write review after seeing what happens Friday. read more

I was very impressed with the professionalism and expertise of the diagnostic tech who was able to identify several problems with my pool and even put a temporary fix on the leaks. I agreed to a very expensive repair, and again, the techs that came out were of the highest order in their field. I had an issue though and was very uneasy about it the entire weekend. The next business day though I received a call from the branch manager who reassured me that everything was done as promised. In addition, my regular pool tech also vouched for red rhino stating that they are the best in the business. I wanted to add that It is very cool how I got photos of the problem areas that needed to be fixed and then a photo confirmation of the repairs. I would recommend this company without reservation read more

This is the most professional company I've ever worked with. We had six major, complicated leaks in our pool. They sent a crew to find all the leads and gave us a very fare quote. Five of the leaks were fixed as expected. The remaining leak ended up to be much deeper than originally thought. They spent an extra three days fixing it and did not charge me extra. We were supposed to have one van at our house with two people working and ended up sending three vans with six people to get the job done right. Again, no extra charge. They cleaned the pool after they were done as well as all their work areas. I was shocked at the level of service and professionalism they provided. They did not ask me to write a review. Our pool would a skateboarding park if it weren't for them. We are very happy. read more

This is the second time I have used them. The first time was about 4 or 5 years ago and we had 3 leaks in our pipes and they were able to mark the spots within a foot or so where the leak was. Our pool size with an attached jacuzzi the leak detection is $350 and if you book for them to fix your repair within 7 days, they take $100 off the repair. Based on how large of a problem we had a few years ago we have been holding off getting this done to have the money to do repairs as well. The guy spent almost 3 hours here, in the rain getting in and out of the pool. Very nice and professional. I kept walking by the window wondering how many X marks I was going to see (X marks a leak in a pipe) Well, it turned out our leak was inside the broken pool light conduit and he patched it with epoxy so no additional repairs were needed. The price they quoted for the leak detection also fixed it at no additional charge. Will use them again, and recommend them to anyone. read more

It's funny how 90% of RR leak detections need a "major" repair. Other companies reported 20% They charge 3x more than any other company and will try to charge you extra just to use pool putty!! With all the pools I'm south Fl , you don't need to scam people that are trusting you. Literally pick ANY other leak company. I have found 2 people in my area that had red rhino out recently and paid them over $1500 just to have the pool leak the same way it did the first day they were there. They refused to give any type of refund! read more

Called Red Rhino after discovering the pool was losing water. They responded very quickly with a technition who did a thorough inspection and showed me with dye where the pool was leaking. The repair was scheduled next day (pool skimmer replacement). Both technitions were very personable and explained any steps I had questions about. read more

I just had a major leak repair done by Red Rhino and there are very significant issues with the job. The customer service contact told me last week that a manager would be contacting me to discuss and resolve the situation and after multiple follow-up messages, no-one has bothered to contact me or come out to look at it. This company is more interested in making the next buck than doing good work and resolving an issue when one arises. With all the great reviews, I was very confident in my decision to hire them but they have turned out to be another shitty S. FL company that delivers poor quality work and couldn't care less about it. Highly recommend if you need any major repair to keep looking. I just spent over $7,000. and this company cannot bother to return my call. I have another vendor here now fixing the mess they made. read more

Red Rhino was recommended by our pool guy of Clean and Clear Pools. Josh came out and spend a few hours walking in waist deep pool water looking for our leak. After a few hours he had located three leaks. He showed us where they were by forcing a thin stream of dye through the system. The largest , though was a broken pipe under the pool deck ! After explaining the repair process to us we scheduled the repair. Jacob arrived the next morning and proceeded to cut away concrete on the pool deck and inside the pool where the leaks were. He filled buckets he had brought with the dirt from under the deck, which he then put back into the dug hole leaving the deck clean. The replacement concrete was molded to match our deck. A perfect square was cut around the surface above each leak inside the pool and covered back up with tile and diamond bright to match the areas. Both representatives of Red Rhino , Josh the leak detector and Jacob the repair man were professional, efficient and friendly. Neither one of these men were over bearing and both worked effortlessly and quietly on their tasks. The price was reasonable for the work done . As a bonus this company will give you a $100 discount for scheduling the job the day you receive your estimate. read more

Red rhino came out twice as the first guy was done in 15 minutes and thought he found the leak in a return. After I complained the head guy came out and found another leak in another return. Both repairs would require digging up my pool deck well over a thousand dollars. Two different results, they lost my trust. Turns out another company found the leak behind the light. Red rhino is just looking for big paydays so be advised. read more

I would not deal with this company! This has been my experience. They come out and charge $295 just to do a leak detection. Then they come up with a cockamamie story that they found the leak. They drained my pool 1/3 down and did some patches on the wall which now looks obvious! They think they fixed it and leave. I noticed the water level was still lower than normal so I called back. They tell me it's evaporation. Now it's 7-8 months later and I have to shut down the pool because I'm filling it up on a daily basis. They never correctly fixed my leak & I'm out $700! And their warranty? There is none! Beware beware before you deal with Red Rhino! Do not waste your money. UPDATE: after this review Red Rhino came back to investigate my complaint. They did find more cracks that were not found the first time. They were very nice and professional about this & took good care of me! I'm very pleased with the outcome and will use them again! Thank you again John Vick & Matt! read more

So happy with Paul from Red Rhino! So polite, professional, and smart! Fixed my pool in two hours after another company was out 4 times over 3 months and billed each time!
