DIY Dining Experience @ West Desert Grill We stopped in for dinner and knocked over a Mountain Dew. Totally our fault--but while we scrambled with napkins on the floor, several employees just watched. No offer to help. Until we got up and asked. Then they brought two rags, which, bless their hearts, weren't nearly enough for the size of the spill (20 oz?). Eventually, after asking again, the waitress brought over a sticky mop--and just handed it to us. No joke. We mopped the floor ourselves, while she stood there. To be clear: we were her only table. It was so awkward we started laughing... mostly to keep from crying in public. The silverware was dirty. The soda was flat. The food was okay, but if you come here, expect a DIY experience. Super cute, clean place and a friendly group of young workers. We just ordered pizza to go and it was quick to be prepared and very good.

We panicked in the parking lot- but figured out that the name changed to West Desert Grill- same menu (from what we could tell). Kids got personal pizzas and fries, husband got a burger and everyone loved what they got! I ordered a gluten free pepperoni (thinking it was a personal size- it was not, haha). Note to customer: the gluten free options for sandwich just means it's now a lettuce wrap. That's not specified, so I ordered a gluten free turkey sandwich expecting it on gluten free bread, only to get surprised with a lettuce wrap. Would have been nice to have a little more transparency. That being said, the food was pretty good. I'm a little bit of a fry snob and I loved their fries--very crispy and seasoned nicely. They come with a tasty fry sauce. Service was good, food was terrible. Ordered the artichoke dip and what came out looked like snot with 2 inches of melted butter on top, I had the Philly cheese steak and my wife had the chicken bacon avocado wraps. My steak was so greasy the bun it came on had the same texture as a wet sponge, and my wife's chicken wraps were so dry they crunched when she chewed them. The Red Rabbit seemed to be the best restaurant option in Delta when we were passing through. The only reason they are getting three stars was for their Covid precautions, there were almost none. Seating large groups and when you ask for sweet tea they just hand you the jug and let you pour your own and on to the next person (not in your group) They should really tighten up on this. Now let's talk about the service and food. The food was pretty good here and I'll say they served some of the best steak I've had in a while. This cut of meat was very tender and had perfect fat content. I was very pleased with that part of my meal. My side salad was full of crisp lettuce leaves.The freshness was definitely there. Service here was very friendly and the restaurant seemed to be very clean. Other than the social distance and lack of mask requirement, this was a great restaurant. I ate here with my family when I was in town for a MX race. Food was great, people were friendly, and prices were good.

Service was pleasant and attentive. The artichoke jalapeño dip was disappointing. Very greasy and little flavor. The grilled chicken wrap was fresh and had good flavor. The jalapeño ranch has just the right amount of kick. I'll be back to try other items. read more

Prices were reasonable. Food was good, although the Buffalo Chicken is more like a spicy Asian sweet heat type of sauce so it's miss labeled. The young girl that waited on us messed up the order, they said they didn't know what we ordered and they wondered what that extra pizza was for. Wanted our house salads to come out before our pizza. Once we ate I went to pay and they said it showed it was already paid for, when it wasn't. Because of the mix up we would say the staff was in experienced. They were nice but there was way more confusion then there should be. It's difficult saying they were bad, but we wouldn't go back. Just us, don't let that sway you. read more

Honestly my experience was good. But when we got our actual meals everything but the chicken on the Alfredo was cold. Like they forgot the chicken and just left everything sitting where it was plated. Our waitress was amazing and everything was pretty quick. This was my first visit! This place is so cute inside. The decor and feel to the place is adorable and trendy. We ordered the garlic bombs to start. They were so warm and gooey with cheese and butter. Definitely a must get! Then we both ordered sandwiches. My daughter got the chicken bacon ranch wrap, but as a sandwich and she got the picadilly chips with hers (she dipped hers in ranch) and I got the turkey sandwich with sweet potato waffle fries ( I dipped mine in fry sauce). The server was friendly and quick. She was cute and refilled our sodas frequently. Also, she even gave us a cup to take the drink to go. I would say this is the best place to eat in Delta! read more

Been a long Time since I added a review but this place deserves all 5 stars and more if they were available. We were tooling the desert and came in to civilization for lunch and picked this place. Built my own pizza, it was fantastic. I asked them I combine the Buffalo chicken pizza and all meat pizza and it came out fantastic! My compadres ordered a custom sandwich and a custom burger and they were both fantastic too! And the sweet potato fries with their recommended Carmel frosting was the absolute best! The food was surprisingly delicious! I had the Chicken ranch pizza. The crust was good, the chicken was moist and well seasoned and it had a fair amount of cheese and sauce. The only negative thing to say is that perhaps there weren't enough of the veggies, but I like a veggie heavy pizza. Pricing was affordable. I would up ordering a 14" since the 10" was around $6 and though that can't possible be enough, well I wound up taking 1/2 pizza home with me for bfast. A buddy of mine ordered their western desert burger thoroughly enjoyed it and said "the produce they used on it was particularly fresh. The lettuce was clearly fresh and the tomato seems to have just come off the vine because it was clearly tomato tasting unlike the nondescript watery bland tomatoes from a large city grocery chain. The onion straws were lightly seasoned and very crisp." Definitely a restaurant worth revisiting. read more

In town for Granddaughters dance competition. Not feeling fast food. Saw this on Yelp and everyone decided it had something for all. Nice clean and decorated well. Order and pay at front desk. Warning Flag!!! Cashier asked if I wanted to place a tip on the total. OK no service and no meal..... and you want a tip?? This is why many people get offended by tipping. So ordered and got our own drinks and utensils! Again tip?? Food came, I had the Philly Steak. This version was chopped beef with a cream cheese spread. It had very little onions or green peppers. Was ok but wouldn't order it here again. Wife had a salad that was looking great. She liked Iran's gave it 4 stars. All in all it wasn't bad but nothing really great. Better than fast food. Prices are quite reasonable. I had the firefighter pizza, my wife had the California club and we split the absolutely decadent sweet potato dessert fries. The service was superb as well. The bill was $26 which is the lowest cost for a full meal (including dessert) for two at a full service restaurant I've experienced in a long long time. We've walked out of here twice. Long waits- you might eventually get served or asked what you want to drink but your patience will be tested first. The food isn't anything special. Try Ashton's or pretty much anywhere else. I've had okay experiences here too, but never actually good read more

Dinner on Sept 25, passing thru Delta. Service was very very slow, in spite of there being few other diners in the place. Air conditioning was set at a frigid temp. The service was horrid. I went in on a Saturday and my server, Jeff or jeftie I think was his name, didn't even ask us for drinks nor did he check on us while we were there. We come to Hinckley once a year for a family reunion. It's not always easy to find somewhere to eat in the middle of Delta, but the Red Rabbit Grill has just turned into a new family tradition! The 9 of us were quickly seated, the restaurant is super clean and decorated very cute. We ordered enough pizzas to feed an army, but every one was delicious! The staff was extremely patient with us as we ordered way more food than we needed. I especially loved their breaded cheese curds and Oreo dessert pizza. I'm glad we took a chance on this place and I can't wait until we come back again! read more

This is my 5th visit since I live out of state and I have to say it's greatly improved! Had the turkey plus stacked with turkey, along with cranberry and cheese and it was delicious. I also love the onion straws. There were 4 of us and everyone like their meals. Perfect for families and a pizza or entree. Entrees are a decent size. Three or four lunch visits in recent years go into this review. Across the board the experiences have been good. No whistles and bells...simple sandwiches dominate the menu, and the ingredients have been limited but good. Fountain drinks. Adequate service, and if you are pressed for time the order turnaround is fairly quick. You can arrive, order, and dine-in in less than thirty minutes. Their version of a philly steak is pretty far removed from my best experiences, but made a good lunch. If you are weighing this against the option of the national hamburger chain on the corner, I would recommend spending an extra couple of dollars and coming to the Red Rabbit. read more

Had lunch here today for the first time. Chicken strips were delicious. Had a San Marcos salad that was delicious! But our RRG pizza came out raw. I don't really blame them. There are sooo many toppings on it that I can see how it would be underdone. They either need to cook it a little lower and longer or thin the crust a bit. Since we took most of the pizza with us, we didn't realize how raw the dough was until we were an hour away, otherwise I would have sent it back. FOOD POISONING Update: Visited 5/26 and ordered Large Pepperoni and Cheese Pizza, Chicken Fingers and BBQ Chicken Salad. Both my boyfriend and I shared the Pizza (the other items we ate independently - Pizza being the only item we shared), and both of us had violent food poisoning; 2 days of aches, pains, chills, and vomiting. This is a new establishment in Delta. They serve pizza, sandwiches and pasta. We've tried to come several times, but there were so many cars we decided to try it "later". Today I made it. They have a few things yet to work out (i.e., no iced tea yet). I ordered the chicken alredo which looked great. It was a nice portion, cut up into strips. I found the chicken a touch mushy. It has a nice taste, but the consistency seemed a little strange. (That didn't stop me from finishing it.) The salad was good. Only minor complaint was getting Ranch dressing when I asked for a vinaigrette. I like both so it worked out. I'll try the pizza next. One just went by, and it looks great! We were on a road trip from California to Moab, Utah on a National Park Tour. We stopped for lunch at Red Rabbit Grill based on the Yelp reviews. We were not disappointed. There were four of us.. we had the Fettucini Alfredo, a Turkey Bacon Melt, a BBQ chicken salad and a crispy chicken finger salad. We were all very satisfied with our meals. The food was delicious, the service was great and the staff was friendly and efficient!
