Eventually, after asking again, the waitress brought over a sticky mop--and just handed it to us. No joke. We mopped the floor ourselves, while she stood there. To be clear: we were her only table. It was so awkward we started laughing... mostly to keep from crying in public. The silverware was dirty. The soda was flat. The food was okay, but if you come here, expect a DIY experience. Primarily looking…read morefor a place to eat we stopped by on our trip from the Red Rock country of Southern I Utah to Salt Lake City. The bar is a bit off the I-70 freeway, but not too far. It is spacious inside with large tables and a friendly, welcoming staff. I had a margarita with my lunch; only one though because I was driving. It wasn't strong but was tasty enough. The beers are mostly domestic with only one micro brew selection but there were plenty of national brand choices. The food was home made and not bad for bar food. I had a Pittsburgh cheese steak sandwich that I thought was good. I ordered it with a side salad instead of fries as I had also ordered the loaded Pastrami fries which came with cheese, pickles and mustard on top. It was a bit too rich and heavy for my taste and the flavors didn't really work well together. Maybe without the mustard I would have liked it more. Not a bad place for a rest stop or a reasonable local hang out as well with some decent food.

The adult plate for the steak ends turned out to be as small as the kid's serving. We ordered "seasoned vegetables" as a side and it turns out that's just heated green beans probably from a can. The fruit side for the kids was also just canned mandarin wedges. The kicker is the entitlement to a 20% tip and the false claim that it was somehow a new mandated minimum, almost alluding or implying that it was a law or regulation. I tipped the 20% because I felt pressured to do so, which I regret. I usually tip 20% if service is good since I had friends and family in the restaurant service industry. But not being given an option and the entitlement mindset is off putting. Building is nice though...

This place is clean friendly and tastee. They have an awesome salsa bar, my favorite was the salsa verde and the pickled jalapeños. They also had a dessert counter that had some tasty treats one of which I think was carrot cake. My wife and I ordered burritos which were awesome. She had a bean rice and cheese and I had a chile relleno burrito. We had pinto beans instead of the refried and they were Humm Humm good. The chile relleno tasted fresh and was not greasy. My burrito was so good I had a hard time not going back for seconds! I can't wait for our next trip through Delta so I can stop and get my burrito fix on!
