So i have some mixed feelings about this hookah but i cant say it was bad and believe me ive been to many bad hookah bars in new york. When i got to this place with my girlfriends i saw this place was packed so my first impression was that it must be that good if its a full house. Once you walk in youll find some tables some booths and a bar in front on your left hand side and if you continue to walk towards the back there is a backroom that is a backyard but has a roof over it so you can sit there all year round, however when we tried to get a table in the back for a party of three , the table they offered was a joke. The chairs were cramped together and the table was super close to the wall, and me and my girls arent some twigs so we couldnt even figure out a way to seat ourselves while not being squished next to other customers at the same time, plus there was so much clouds of smoke that i wouldnt even be able to breathe there, what kind of hookah bar has poor ventilation? My bedroom which is pretty small has even more space! . So we decided to wait for a table to be seated out towards the front, the front doors were left open so at least there was some more ventilation there . After waiting almost a freakin half hour they were able to squish us in one of the corners but at least my ass could fit so we made progress. The waiter that served us was super super friendly , and in this place they serve hookah with fruit heads only to act as the claybowl rather then to give flavor and it does a decent job at holding the coal for a longer period of time, but the fruit heads alone are 15-25 dollars plus another 15-20 for the flavor you wish to choose for the tobacco and of course if you want to be fancy you can add milk or booze to the base. We decided to go with the cheapest head which was the grapefruit head with a tropical fruit tobacco flavor. Finally when the hookah came 15 minutes later we realized that the corner we sat in doesnt have space to place the hookah on the floor where all three of us can have an easy reach, SO they decided to pur the hookahs on top of the tables, it made it easy to share but i was so scared to make a single move because i was afraid the whole thing would come falling down on me so overall i really was feeling super uncomfortable! At least the waiter was willing to explain the whole menu and addressed my complaints the best he could, however the place is so cramped and the isles are so narrow that i dont understand how the workers are able to run around without knocking anything over its ridiculous, and the people who sit have to squeeze their chairs in. The place at least has a decent food and drink menu, but when i saw the health grade rating as a B i decided i didnt wanna take a risk but hey maybe the grade is for the dangerous way the furniture is set up and the capacity of people in here. Even worse the waiter told me some of the drinks couldnt be made since they were out of stock of some items so i was like you know what lets make life easy and get a redbull. The prices though werent bad, 10 dollars for cocktails and 6 for beers so i was happy to see that, and the food i saw other people eat was in large portions. Another plus is that the music they played was pretty good im a sucker for 90s rap and hip hop so it made me loosen up a bit, this place would be awesome if they made room for a dancefloor. When the bill arrived we ended up paying almost 40 dollars for three people, so im glad i didnt get ripped off at the end. Honestly i would
Become a regular here if they had more space or rearranged the furniture because the hookah itself is really good and the service here could easy be great on a less busier night. Maybe ill feel more comfortable
