    Cream of Potato Soup

Seriously the hidden gem of Hernando County, FL! This place appears to be ran by a group of family members, and they're very sweet and personable. I ordered the El Mulo 1/2 sandwich and my teeth sunk into the bread. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. So, so good. They weren't stingy on the meat one bit!! The potato soup was Luke warm, so that was kind of a bummer, but the taste was delicious!! My mom ordered the Pub Club and she loved hers too! It was so filling for both of us. We will certainly be back!!!

Top corner table that overlooks the restaurant. There are 12 tables. Red Mule menu & eclectic background.

This establishment was recommended to us by a friend and it was worth stopping in for! Eclectic decor and it's all about the sandwich's. Corn beef or pastrami are the main ingredients or should I say stars. I had the traditional Reuben on steamed rye with thousand island dressing & sauerkraut. My hubby had the pastrami on rye. Each sandwich comes with a pickle & bag of chips. I also had the white sangria which on Saturday is a special for $4 glass. Heather our server is friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurant and its history. Highly recommend.

The hot potato salad was super. I especially liked the thin slices of potatoes.

A place where everyone knows your name. Cosy, little pub with eccletic decor, and a friendly staff. Loved the Chicken Salad Sandwich! Will be back.

We stop by here every time we are in the area. The food is fresh and generous. You could even split a sandwich. The baked potato soup or the potato salad with bacon and cheese is a must. I love the Ruben sandwiches with either corn beef or pastrami. My wife loves the chicken salad . You get a bag of chips with your sandwiches. The staff is very friendly and treats you like family. Everything is made fresh and the beer is cold. This is a hidden gem.

Great service, delicious pastrami, questionable decorations. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Food came out fast and warm. The pastrami sandwich there is amazing! I love that most of the sandwiches you can get in half portions! You just need to try it. I would definitely recommend this place and the prices are not bad at all. It looks like a dive bar, but trust me...do it for the food. At least the pastrami.

Our friend, Mr. C., recommended if we are in the Brooksville area, check out the Red Mull Pub. We were surprised when 11 of us approach this place inside a shopping mall searching for a comfort and cozy place for dinner. First there were two small tables in front of the restaurant and appeared to be an average local eatery. Once inside, it is transformed into a completely different world! Memorabilia extensively used to decorate this sandwich/Pub. Pictures, antiques and artifacts cover the wall. Cold beers and wines are served with sandwiches. This is exactly what we are looking for! Red Mull Reuben, their signature sandwich is packed with corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Russian dressing on rye bread. They generally served with just fresh rye bread or pressed upon request. I have the pastrami Reuben with Pumpernickel bread and Cole slaw. The Pumpernickel bread was so soft and fresh, now I can see why they only pressed the sandwich upon request. The Cole slaw was fresh, crunchy and creamy. A great sandwich meal! Kielbasas with sauerkraut was also served and the cream of Potato soup was creamy and thick with potato flavor. Super friendly wait staff! Thanks, Mr. C. for your recommendation! We were not disappointed!

The menu had some interesting sandwich and burger options at pretty decent price points. My husband ordered a burger and enjoyed it. I decided to try the lobster grilled cheese, which sounded too good to pass up. When it came out, the lobster was chilled and the cheese wasn't melted, which definitely caught me by surprise. Our waitress mentioned it was supposed to be melted, but since I'm not one to play roulette with sending food back, I just went ahead and ate it. Even with that surprise, the flavors were still good and I left satisfied. The venue itself is large and nicely themed, making it a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal. Overall, a solid spot with good service.

Restaurant was not overly busy and had plenty of staff to accommodate the small amount of guests. Waited almost an hour for our food with no apology from management. When our burgers were delivered our server claimed the kitchen made our burgers incorrectly- she either forgot to put it in or it had been sitting for quite sometime. Top burger bun was luke warm. Fries (that were an additional cost) were burnt. For the $17 price one would expect more than a thin slice of bacon for a burger with bacon in the name. "Enjoyed" the meal without anything to drink as I was never offered a refill of water.

Lovely Easter Brunch on the Patio…read more We came here for Easter brunch and had a really nice experience. I called about 45 minutes before arriving just to see if there was any chance we could get a table. They mentioned they were only taking reservations that day but were kind enough to squeeze us in for 1:30, which worked out perfectly. Raven was our waitress and she was wonderful. Super welcoming, friendly, and attentive the whole time without ever feeling overbearing. My husband and I shared a Caesar salad and the steak and eggs, and of course we had to order mimosas (two each... because brunch ). Everything came out fresh and tasty. One small personal preference, and this might just be me, but I would have liked the Caesar salad lettuce to be chopped a bit smaller instead of the larger pieces. Not a deal breaker at all, just something I noticed. The steak was cooked well. I wouldn't say it was the best steak I've ever had, but it was definitely good. What really stole the show for me was the chimichurri sauce. I could honestly eat that by itself with the potatoes, it was that good. We sat on the patio and were a little worried it might be too hot, but it was nicely shaded and they have fans going, so it was actually very comfortable. The only time we got a little warm was after our second mimosa... but that might be on us Overall, it was a great experience and we'll definitely be back.

On Saturday's, they do a bottle of champagne for $20 and it wasn't the cheapest stuff in town! Our server was amazingly helpful, gave great recommendations and helped make our visit special. Everything is true farm to table so the menu rotates. But the dishes we had were divine. We split the savory crepe that was an egg crepe with mash potatoes, sausage and a sage brown butter sauce. Other item split were the haute pocket and steak flatbread. You can tell a lot of thought is put into the menu items and blending of flavors. We for sure will return!

Chatter noise was low enough Iwe could reasonably talk together! She started with a french onion soup, steamy and thick, obviously homemade!! I had a lobster bisque with baquettes. Btw, the Chicken fried steak is offered every Sunday. Our server, Joanne, was excellent and very knowledgeable!! The few small pieces of chicken we did have were way over cooked. The fish and chips had the same problem - mostly breading and no fish. Also, they don't have tartar sauce. I've never been to a place that sells fish n chips that doesn't have tartar sauce. The dining area is an open concept. There were some plants spread around the place is clean.
