We came here the other day for the Thursday special $14.99 chicken Alfredo (you can also get shrimp Alfredo) you can add on a side salad for only $2.99. My husband and I shared a meal! We also shared a calamari appetizer The food is very good and of course we love the biscuits here! We had an issue with our bill but they corrected it... took 4 tries so make sure you look at your receipt before handing them your credit card. Other than that we had a very pleasant and relaxing time. We never felt rushed and I like that the booths are high backed because you have more privacy. I hadn't been to red lobster in a minute but since that new CEO joined, I had to see what it was about. Red Lobster has officially been turned around! The restaurant was clean, service was great, and the menu has a nice upgrade with new items. I got the lobster bisque and white fish which were both divine. The bread excellent as always. I came here for lunch and the food I will talk about in a minute but the customer service was amazing! From the hostess who opened the door for you as you walked in to the bartender who was so attentive and kind. It was unusually quiet today but I think it's because I came in almost right after the lunch rush which is what I wanted. I had their classic margarita with a sugar rim which was ok. But the star of the show was my meal. The lobster tail was cooked to perfection and so delicious and absolute joy to eat. The shrimp was a little overcooked for my liking but I still ate it and the baked potato was delicious. They could have gave me more biscuits tho but then again I could have asked but I didn't because I didn't want my back getting any bigger. Lol.. Let's keep red lobster in business people read more

I had an excellent experience at Red Lobster! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The Cheddar Bay Biscuits were as amazing as always, and the seafood was cooked perfectly. I did get What I thought was spam because it didnt identify in the subject line as Red Lobster I deleted it! I explained to someone I never used it! There should be a QR code or Bar that should show it was never used! I really am a suburbanite now...I'm review our Friday night out at Red Lobster... But hey, I hadn't been to one in over 20 years, and I had a gift card that had been sitting in my card pile for like a decade. Now that they've crawled out of bankruptcy, why not use it in case they disappear for good? The parking lot looked busy, but maybe since it was cold out and there was no wait at all once we got inside. Of course we started with the cheddar bay biscuits which were just as warm and buttery as I remembered. We also got the crab queso, which I was kind of meh on. If I didn't know there was crab in it ahead of time I probably wouldn't have been able to point it out - I much prefer the Tex Mex white queso. I was pleasantly surprised by my entree though. I went with the Southwest shrimp bowl, which felt kind of like a Chipotle burrito bowl but with a good serving of shrimp in it. Honestly with how expensive Chipotle is now this feels like the better deal! My wife got the shrimp and crab Alfredo which was definitely on the pricier side of things, but was super cheesy and a great comfort choice. Our toddler got the grilled shrimp but he seemed to have more fun with the orange slices. Service was great and on our way out someone who I think was the manager offered to take a lobster out of the tank so our boy could take pics with it. It kind of spooked him, but since he was a good sport about it the manager got us a brownie to go. We've been to this Red Lobster several times over the years, and we like it a lot. Standard chain sea food that is predictable in the best sense of the word. It's easy to eat healthy here if you prefer - broccoli and baked potatoes are side options. Lots of fried fish and broiled fish. If you crave seafood, this is the place to be. Completely DISGUSTED with the service at Red Lobster in Schaumburg. Went there on Easter with our 3 kids, the restaurant wasn't busy at all, yet we waited 50 minutes for our food to come out ICE COLD. Our kids were already antsy, and our waiter came to our table a total of FOUR TIMES the entire time we were there, and I caught her hanging out by the bathrooms on her cell phone two different times when we had been waiting for her to come help us. I had to go to the bar for napkins and our pop was flat. Complained to a manager that the food was ice cold and cost too much money for ice cold food, so he assured me they'd remake it fresh for us in 10-15 minutes - ANOTHER 50 minutes later, and still didn't have our food. We had to request another manager box up our food because our kids had school the next day. They took 75% off the bill because it was absolutely ridiculous, but my husband and I didn't even get to eat Easter dinner after being there 2 hours. PISSED OFF AND UTTERLY DISGUSTED WITH THE EXPERIENCE. The cooks and our particular waitress were terrible. We have not been to this red lobster in a long time, but we had a party of seven and came this weekend and we had a great experience. We all got crab legs and every single cluster looked great, were large, and tasted great. The restaurant looked great inside, it was packed also, and the staff was polite and helpful. It doesn't make sense to change a signature item, no one has to eat them. Suggest offering both original & plain. I've made at home with basic Irish scone/biscuit recipe adding 3C small cubed sharp cheddar & butter. Dip in butter before serving. Lightly pick up & place on sheet without forming to keep airy. Then comes the service, not sure if he needed more experience or if he was busy. I'm very pleased to announce that WORLD-CLASS SERVICE IS BACK and his name was "Sam"!!! We were a party of three for dinner at 5pm (shift change). The food was high quality (lobster & shrimp tacos, crunch-fried flounder and endless shrimp) and VERY fast...nod to the kitchen staff as well. Considering I had the endless shrimp, over the years those "refills" have been VERY slow coming but not today!!! Sam was ASKING if I wanted more before I was even done! When I told the Manager about Sam's heroics, he said he's heard this a lot lately...huge kudos to him and his entire team, especially our server Sam. I was super impressed with the taste and quality. I had not been to a red lobster in years. The staff was so friendly and all staff came over to wish me a happy birthday and even sang for me. It took 20-25 minutes to get our drinks to the table AFTER I went to the bar myself to ask for my drinks that were in fact sitting at the bar. After that all was fine. We knew food would take a little long but we never saw our server really and we had other servers as well. It seemed too confusing. The quality of food was fine. Hi, went to Red lobster with my daughter to try the new boil. We also ordered the appetizer stuff mushroom noticed it had seafood as we can eat shell fish but we both are allergic to "fish" so we asked the waiter what was in the stuff mushroom, he wasn't sure so he asked the chef and was told crab meat which we can eat. Came for the endless shrimp, and the kids all got kids meals. From the time we were seated to the time our food came, it took a little over an hour until the kids meals came out. Not sure why it took so long for Mac and cheese to be cooked. It was a Monday evening. We asked our waitress if they had all available items for the ended shrimp and she said they should have it all. But some reason the last two times we've been here for endless shrimp, we don't find out until later that something on the endless shrimp menu is available. A bit disappointing since also we asked first this time. Turns out that the Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut shrimp was not available even though it was listed on the endless shrimp menu. They didn't even tell us this until our Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp came out on our plates as mini popcorn shrimp with the coconut sauce on the side. We were confused if they changed the item, but these were also clearly not jumbo shrimp as we've had before. The parrot isle jumbo coconut shrimp we've had before, so I knew something changed. Our waiter went to ask the kitchen, and came back saying that they call this one coconut bites. Didn't love that they changed this on us and didn't tell us until we asked. I'm surprised they run out and try to make something similar with other ingredients at a big chain restaurant. Other than that, the rest of the food was decent as expected. Seated right away, immediately asked if we wanted anything to drink or an appetizer. We asked about Endless Shrimp, and BOTH special items were not available when we visited. I'm sure this will be remedied soon, but was quite the disappointment since that was THE reason we treated ourselves this visit. I walk in and sit at the bar on Veterans Day about 8PM. The place is almost empty 1 other person at the bar. I am a veteran. I ask for the veteran special menu and order the 6 piece shrimp and fries free to veterans with proof. All good so far. I was thanked for my service, cool. The food comes, the fries are hot and the shrimp is not. I can not believe it..... I took the shrimp and fries home and reheated them. Terrible thing to have to do. They did offer to reheat I just wanted to leave at this point. IF I WAS A PAYING CUSTOMER I WOULD HAVE GOT UP AND LEFT. I am 68 years old. This Red Lobster has greatly reduced their menu. They no longer offer a fresh fish of the day. Many of the entrees are no longer being carried. Salad no longer comes with your entree, there is an up charge. The entrees now come with one standard side, such as fries, broccoli or Cole slaw. The food is still good. My mother requested that we take her here for her Mother's Day lunch, and while we were served a decent meal, it was not very impressive. The food was good, but no better than that. The ambiance was so so, and we were able to socialize with our family members and the food was served without interrupting the flow, however, our request for separate checks was not honored and thus we had to spend considerable time and effort dividing up the bill at the end of the meal, which detracted from the experience.
