Of course we were immediately server water and warm cheesy biscuits-even offered some to go! The grilled salmon is a large slice-also with 2 sides-the broccoli is perfectly steamed and tender without alit of salt-nice. The cole slaw is fresh and not too sauce soupy-just the right amount. My Mom could not let the meal end without dessert-our fav, chocolate brownie overboard never disappoints. 3 warm half. squares of chocolate chip brownies topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. The food was alright, the service stank. My son brought me to red lobster for Mother's Day, and when the waitress took our drink order she brought out the biscuits with our drinks, then took our order, that was the last we saw of her. The kitchen help brought our food to the table and refilled our drinks. Waitress never checked on us to see if everything was ok, we tried to wave her down several times when she passed by empty handed. When we were done eating she came over to the table and gave my son the check, and said have a nice night. Never asked if we wanted a dessert. I hadn't been to Red Lobster in a while; we had a taste for seafood. We went at lunchtime--a perfect time; the atmosphere was laidback and relaxing. Fabulous everything tonight! Starting with the bacon wrapped scallops that were amazing. The fish and chips are always great and the French fries were really great. To be as nice as possible... the service was absolute dogshit, and the food was mid. Im not blaming the waitress by any means. She did mention the cook was new and they were backed up, but THERE WERE 4 TABLES TOTAL! It took over 20 minutes for drinks and over an hour for our actual order. As always, the food was delicious. However, the service was awful!! My family and I come to this Montgomeryville location often. We have always had good service. Today was terrible. We were practically ignored by our server, while she fawned over other diners. We were never asked if we wanted beverage refills. When we could not get our server's attention, I had to go out to my car and bring bottled water into the restaurant...It was that bad! I can see they are short staffed, as the server is also the busser, as well as the bartender, but when the server has only four tables, that should not be a problem. My husband I both got the Lobster Lovers (2 lobster tails). I thoroughly enjoyed mine, although he said one of his tails was cold. He also thought the mashed potatoes tasted funny. The hush puppies were great and the crispy brussel sprouts were good, although there was too much sauce on them and it had a very heavy flavor. We have a family member that's a huge fan of Red Lobster. She loves to order the lobster tail and she always enjoys it. The lobster tails are a good size, she says, and very tender. So, we all went last night. The service was excellent from our waiter. The ambiance is typical Red Lobster, clean and well maintained. I ordered the Admiral's Plate, thinking that the flounder would be grilled. Instead, it came deep fried, like everything else on the Admiral's Plate. The fried clam strips were a bit chewy and dry, so I did not enjoy them very much. Surprisingly, the bay scallops were tender, flavorful, and delicious. They were a good size, too. So, I would definitely go again to this Red Lobster. However, I will most likely order something different next time. read more

This time it was a hit. 4 stars because service was really good, salads and biscuits came timely, as well as entrees. Fortunately, we enjoyed our food and hadn't had issues considering the past overall lackluster experience at Red Lobster. I ordered the New Orleans Salmon which was pretty good. The salmon had good seasoning resembling New Orleans flavor and I was in the mood for something creole, so this worked out well. The mashed potatoes and broccoli was subpar but tolerable. Broccoli seemed overcooked, wilted and dry. It should've had a nice tender bite from being steamed and flavored with butter and a tad of seasoning. Mashed potatoes was made with too much water. Needed to have a creamy, thick texture with butter, sour cream, and tad salt and pepper. Biscuits was consistent to what I'm used to--hot, fresh, soft and great tasting! RL will recoup its fans when they stop being hit or miss and up their quality on a more consistent basis. I hope my next visit will be as good or even better than this visit. I drive for Door dash and got an order on New Year's Eve to go to this location. I waited just shy of 2 hours for the food (cost me an extreme amount of money) and was witness to racism (servers let some races use the bathroom and others not). I then also saw another customer outwardly threaten another customer and no employee was even around to step in. They didn't answer their phones and were very rarely out of the kitchen to deal with the customers. There were maybe 4 employees even working. Covid is one thing. I placed an order online (super convenient!) and had it scheduled to be picked up at 930pm (more than an hour after I ordered) and it wasn't ready until 10:05pm. I have gone here several times but my last experience was by far the best! Our waitress was super helpful in discussing the menu with us and talking to us about the gluten free options. We came during lunch time so we both ordered lunch items. I ordered the flounder and it came with a side and a salad. I got the baked potato which was cooked really well and I picked the Caesar salad (without croutons) and added shrimp. You could tell that everything was super fresh. The salad was dresses perfectly and the shrimp cooked to order. My flounder was cooked perfectly and also very fresh. The manager was the one who brought out our food , he looked at the plate and said that the serving of fish looked small so that he would bring me more, he ended up bringing me a whole other serving! That is quite the attention to detail! The manager was super nice and polite and very customer oriented. He made the entire experience all the better on top of the great food and service. In addition to the food I got a strawberry lemonade that was delicious! It was a good hit and I'll continue to come back after the great experience I had. As usual, another amazing experience at Red Lobster. Since it's so far out of the way, we rarely come here but when we do it's delicious. Our waiter (Syed?), was really nice and attentive. Constant refills, and check ups were the highlight. As for the food, I always get some dish with shrimp. I love the shrimp here and my favorite is Walts Favorite Shrimp. First, thank you for the response and concern. I won't go elsewhere to respond or repeat the review. I don't need any recompense for our visit. I live over an hour away so chances of my return are slim. I'd prefer you just work to fix the issues for the next person. Get your staff to focus on quality and customer service. 1-1-21 I used the curb side contactless pick up. I arrived 7:20pm. The order was to be ready at 7:27pm, i got it at 7:45pm. I then had the person delivering it to me put it in a insulted bag for the ride home. Within the 10 min it took for me to start eating i realized ) all my shrimp were cold and baked potato ( which usually holds heat well) was luke warm. Did i mention there were about 10 cars total in the entire parking lot. What was the excuse for the slow service and cold food??! After eating my meal and 2 bites of my key lime pie (which was excessively tart) my stomach rejected everything i ate. I think the dessert was old. My stomach started churning soon as i ate it.
