So it's been probably a few years since I've had the Cajun Chicken Alfredo or even eaten at Red Lobster. I ordered a pick-up order and I can say it's nowhere near the same as I remember. The alfredo had no flavor, no cajun taste, or even a good taste. The few chicken I had in the pasta was so fatty and chewy. The mashed potatoes were ok but a little dry. I ordered a side of the biscuits and they were dry as well, had no buttery taste, and were cold. I was very disappointed and won't be going back. Well today's experience was not very good. I see why this restaurant has the low stars . Many years of good food down the drain now. The must have had a new cook because the mushrooms they served us were clearly not cooked and yes I took a pic. The lobster roll was not good either, nothing was like the old day's where quality was the priority. Sadly we will not be going back . Lessons learned our waitress was nice and even said the mushrooms didn't look right ! She had them removed as well as the disgusting lobster roll. Waited 15 minutes or more for our drinks. Had our great cheese biscuits but got rather thirsty with nothing to drink. I hate to complain but server was nice but not the best. RIP. I've always loved Red Lobster, but I will NEVER go back to the Hamilton location again. It stunk so bad in there and I really wanted to walk back out, but the person I was with was not bothered. She noted that it smelled like "old carpet and mold". Dirt was everywhere (nothing is cleaned) and there was literal mold on the inside of lamp shades. GROSS!!!! The absolute worst with service being close second. Restaurant was empty but we had to get other people to get our server 3 times. She was not responsive, spending time laughing and socializing with other staff who were all loud and inappropriate. Food was disgusting!!!Got fish and chips. Well after we got seated it took some time before our server greeted us. They were not very crowded either. We said we'd wait additional n amount of time then we were leaving. Our server, Aaron, finally got to us. He apologized for taking long. He was nice but our food was mediocre & mines wasn't ver hot. The only thing decent was the white sangria. Other than that, this place need to be shut down for 1. Deep cleaning! Food all caked in the window sill & trash in the benches. 2. Dusting & 3. Teaching greeters to maybe greet. I want to start off by saying that this lunch was delicious. I ordered the Southwest Lobster Tacos with fries and it was better than expected. The fries were crispy and the tacos were layered properly (too much southwest sauce, but it was still tasty). Although I'm not sure if the fries should have been in the same container as the tacos, it was okay because the fries were not greasy. This experience is worlds away from my last experience here. My husband and I are only doing carry out now that patio season is over. We are tired of the same old same old and wanted something different. Crab legs would hit the spot but we were hesitant to do them as take out - especially since they are pretty pricey. We decided to give it a go and we would do it again. The crab legs were sweet and juicy. I don't dip mine in butter even. My bakes potato was perfectly baked. For 2 of us we got 4 of the yummy flaky cheddar bay biscuits. They seem to be making them smaller but tasty just the same. So glad to take the chance on something different. This was the Red Lobster on S. Hamilton Rd. Definitely worth the price. read more

Thursday, May 22, 3:30pm. SEVEN WORDS: Seafood, Cheesy Biscuits, Dated Decor, Good Value We arrived and were promptly seated. This is the benefit of living on a different schedule than the rest of the world. Huzzah! Our waitress, Brittany, attended to us quickly, taking our drink orders, offering the specials of the day, and putting in for our appetizer order. She returned promptly with our drinks and stuffed mushrooms and took the order for our Lobster Bisque; we were eating very light today - tapas, Deadliest Catch Style. The Stuffed Mushroom Caps plate was very hot! and the bisque was just right, too. When we let them cool down, they were fantastic, although I've rarely had bisque that's been less than great. However, the appetizer was surprisingly yummy....and EVERY RESTAURANT CAN SCREW UP Appetizers. - so when they do it well, it's fantastic. I quickly ate my cup of bisque and Brittany offered to bring a second cup and merely charge me for the bowl. It was all this cross of Ts and dotting of is that did a good measure to turn this from my ordinary "what you expect" 4-star to a 5-star. The deal was only sealed by the fact that 2 hostess/wait staff said "have a good day" on the way out. Those little OVERALL touches reflect on the diligence of management, and after my recent experience at Cracker Barrell, maybe you can see why i included SERVICE as an integral part of this rewview. If I could give this negative 5 stars I would. My sirloin I asked for medium, it was well done and chewier than a leather shoe. The broccoli was so underdone it was like eating it straight up in the Kroger produce isle. Mashed potatoes were fine, but it's pretty hard to mess those up. The biscuits had NO flavor at all. Just soft flavorless bread. The $14 drink was weak as hell. I would rather spend $13 on McDonald's and get a chewable meal. I don't use A1, but they serve it on the side, it gave the leather shoe some flavor. Overall, don't go within 2 miles of the place, you'll lose brain cells. read more

I have been to this location quite a few times (usually during endless shrimp) and the customer service is always great! I absolutely love all of the servers here! They are always so upbeat and attentive! The food is a little bland, but it usually comes out piping hot! Today, my daughter ate free since they were holding a coloring contest and whoever participated got to eat for free. That was nice! I ordered the shrimp seaside trio which was alright. My caesar salad was really good (which it always is at this location), the fried shrimp was nice and hot, the shrimp scampi was a little dry, but had a good flavor, the shrimp alfredo was a little bland (which it usually is at this location), and the baked potato was a little undercooked. Nothing that a little salt and pepper can't fix. We also celebrated my daughter's Gigi's birthday today and everyone came out and sang Happy Birthday to her after our meal which was nice! I ordered dinner Sunday night via Uber Eats. My order was incomplete when delivered. Baked potato but no butter or sour cream; coconut shrimp but no pina colada sauce. Such a disappointment! I went to this Red Lobster for their endless shrimp deal in the fall. You start off with 3 types of shrimp (garlic, grilled, coconut, popcorn, Parmesan, Alfredo, sriracha, etc), then 2 sides. Throughout your meal you can order additional shrimp dishes, thus making it "endless shrimp." The shrimp dishes are decent, I liked their coconut and grilled shrimp especially. They would bring out additional dishes as you requested, although sometimes it took a realllllly long time to have those dishes brought out. I do understand that endless shrimp time is pretty busy though. The garlic butter bread which they bring out at the beginning are delicious, but very salty/buttery. The sides also seem heavy, even their vegetable (green beans, broccoli) dishes, although I know you don't go to Red Lobster for healthy options. Overall, food okay and service okay. read more

I have to go to this location every time. It's the closest one to my house, unfortunately. I am not sure if the problem is the kitchen, unmotivated servers OR just bad managers, but, service is terrible 100% of the time, always extremely slow. It's official, Red Lobster near Eastland Mall in Columbus, SUCKS! Crappy food. CRAPPY CUSTOMER SERVICE, and the tables and bar space are disgusting. I had to ASK the staff to wipe the table before they sat me down. I overheard another customer have to do the same. My waitress at the bar had a bad attitude (nasty nice- passive aggressive). No biscuits came to my table until about 40 mins after they sat me down. I chose to eat at the bar. I was surrounded by dirty dishes and nasty dirty napkins. The napkin my waitress gave me were even dirty/used. The place STINKS like dirty swamp water. IT TOOK FOREVER for my food to actually come out. The waitress got my order wrong, and then had the nerve to -at the exact same time- blame me for the mistake but apologize. I ordered stuffed mushrooms. They looked dreadful. Not like what I'm accustomed to seeing at other locations. They brought out my scallops...they were OVER COOKED. They only refilled my water glass ONCE after I had to flag her down and ask (again I was dining at the bar). That was my first time being there since moving back to Columbus 5 months ago, and yes, it will be my LAST. That place is TRASH! I would have given this place zero stars if I could. I HOPE someone from corporate/management is reading this. Get some managers at that location to clean it up, or you will lose money. Bad food. Filthy dining space. I gave this restaurant a 1 star rating. I odered seared scallops. I recieved a total of 4 which were not seared at all. They were on a skewer originally because off them had holes in them. They were over cooked and extremely tough. The mashed potatoes I ordered I asked for some gravy on the side, which my husband always asks for. We received none. Not even any plasticware.
