This was the first place I ordered from since the pandemic hit. I ordered the Admirals Feast & it was good. It's what you would expect from Red Lobster. The only downside is that my order sat with the server for a bit before they called out my name. I know some people aren't their when the order is ready but some are & they should routinely call the names so the orders don't sit there. In any event, I would order from here again. I do recommend the Hawaiian Garlic Shrimp it's excellent! Stay safe everyone. read more

1.Food took forever to be served, I would say about an hour but to be fair it was a 5 of us but idk 2.I ordered the ultimate feast, the crab was so skinny I was so disappointed, the shrimp had a funny taste to it, my boyfriend ordered a lobster tail and it was disgusting, he let me try it and I couldn't even eat it. I love seafood, this was the worst red lobster I have ever been to 3.The dishes I got were dirty had left over food on them Just gross, I will never come back here. read more

Honestly I don't even know why I keep trying to give this place a chance. If it wasn't for my kids who wanted to come to red lobster I would had chosen BBQ which is right across from this restaurant. I actually witness the host ( Katiana) utter bitch under her breath after a customer didn't want to place her name. I believe your host should show be kind and inviting if they are going to be the first face you are going to see. BETTER Representation is needed at this establishment! I will give an update later.... read more

The service is bad the food takes hours to come the the ambiance is crazy and there's flys everywhere

Horrible service. We sat and order very quickly, an hour later my daughter's meal was out but the adults had no food, no water, and our appetizer was still nowhere in site. Once we received our food it was COLD and shrimp looked like it was messed with. It was horrible. When we were ready to leave our Appetizer came, we were told it was on the house but when the bill came that was not the case. We were horrified and wanted to leave so we paid our bill and left. Red lobster was my husband's favorite place, this experience ruined that for him. read more

Our server was very kind and gave great service, but other than that, my experience here was pretty much trash. We ordered calamari as an appetizer and that, along with the cheddar biscuits, was the only part of the meal I liked. The salad was okay, no real complaints there. But my main entree, dragon shrimp was really not good. The sauce on the shrimp was really good but then the shrimp itself tasted like it was from the microwave, as did the rice and the broccoli. My boyfriend said his steak was disgusting. Way overpriced for less than mediocre food. On top of that, our food took long to come out. read more

Visited Red Lobster for girls night out. Got there about 8:50pm was seated by 9:20 pm. The floor was riddled with paper napkins and left over food from the other guest that had dined before us. Our server was looking overwhelmed forgetting items that we had ordered. The drinks were messy and overflowing the glasses they were served in. It was a nightmare. Then to top it all off a spider webbed it's way down from one of the light fixtures right into one of my girlfriends plate. I'm done. Check please. read more

Went here last night and when my food came out to me, as soon as I saw it, everything was wrong. My salmon was WAY over cooked, dry, and tasted like cardboard. The scallops were hockey pucks from how burned and over cooked they were. THEN to the right of my plate I have 6 little pieces of zucchini that were 100% put on my plate from someone else's. there was a piece of lettuce in the zucchini, why was there lettuce? Just look at that zucchini and tell me that's not from another plate. This was THE WORST experience I've ever had at red lobster. read more

I expected to not feel like I was literally sitting in a parking lot. There was no effort put into making the scenery more appealing. There were 10 sets of tables or more set up and only 2 umbrellas. The only positive thing was that the tables were cleaned before every person was seated. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. Today was my mother in laws birthday we were a party of 8 before we were seated I told the lady walking us to our table please have them sing happy birthday to her and bring out a cake she said no problem. Our waitress Zadia (the heavy set Indian looking lady) asked why were we hear today I told her it's my mother's in law birthday can they make sure to sing and bring out a cake she agreed. She brought out only the garlic bread and disappeared for 20 min finally came back and took our orders as she was taking our order she was arguing with an another server lady over tables. Then when she was done arguing she proceeded to take our order after each person tried to order she would stop and comment to a tall skinny male that the other server was crazy and annoying and she continued to have side conversations while trying to take our order. She brought our drinks out never once did she asked if we wanted refills even when we tried to flag her down. I have an injured arm and she tried to set a soup plate down over me so I asked my partner to switch seats with me so I can be on the corner booth to avoid getting any physical contact again with my injured arm and her I mentioned it to her I have an injured arm plz be mindful. When she brought everyone drinks she passed them all one by 1 to me for me to serve our friends and family and then proceeded to do the same with everyones plates which I said no I will not pass anymore I have an injured arm you do it, Everyone gets there food and she messed up one of our orders we order chicken fettuccine Alfredo she brought out Cajun chicken fettuccine instead, we mention it and she stated we ordered wrong and we told her no we told you correct you were too busy talking, she brought out the chicken fettuccine Alfredo but the chicken still tasted like the Cajun order so by this point now I don't want to eat it I'm just gonna wait for everyone to finish eating. My partner and I had the 4 course meal and we reminded her about my mother in laws birthday cake with the singing she disappeared for 20 min and finally came back with with only 2 deserts and forgot to get the staff and extra cake for the birthday girl like how can you fuck that up seriously. After we reminded her about the birthday girl desert for the 5 th time she goes oh I forgot I thought u wanted to give your desert to her which by this point we are done with putting up with such horrible service we canceled the order of the extra desert and told her give her ours instead she ask the other staffs help her sing happy which they clearly where not in the mood to do anything with her and refused to help her out, my mother law was very sad my husband blew up and told her just give us the check she tried to changed her tip to 40% and my husband was not having it for someone this unprofessional fighting with other staffs on the floor the. Gossiping about the staff and telling us that other staff is mental and crazy is uncalled for and unprofessional thank you Red Lobster for fucking up my mother in laws birthday everything cost up $270 for shitty service do yourself a favor don't eat here. read more

How the hell am I the first person to review this hellhole? *snickers* Ok, ok...all jokes aside; when I'm below the Mason-Dixon line, I don't mind Red Lobster; its formulaic, dependable, and pretty tasty...in a McD's meets seafood way. But once you're in the Bronx, its whole different story. As a teen, my lil crew of misplaced muppies (read: minority yuppies) would come here on the weekends during the summer to drink because no one ever carded our 15-17 y/o asses. Combine a couple of Bay Island Breezes with the AMC movies on the other side of the Bay Plaza Mall, and that was our Saturday nite. Even better is the fact that I could jump on any Co-Op City bus and be home in 4 minutes, or tippsily walk and be home in 15...which is definately key when you're 15 and still learning your rum tolerance, ha. BUT...once I became an adult who cared about things like; ambiance, value, and cleaniness, I became disenchanted with this Red Lobster. Why? Because: -The tablecloths and the wooden salad bowls smell like mildew (Although they have recently removed both.) -Everything is overly salty and/or greasy (and not in good grease, like butter or EVOO, but bad greasy, like crisco or Wesson oil.) -Its retardedly expensive for mediocre chain seafood. Go to close-by City Island for better eats all around. -The drinks have significantly weakened. AND they removed the Bay Breeze...WTF is up with that? -Its always crowded with families who come here for thier 'fancy' dinners, you know the type; graduations, Mother's Day, Easter, Christenings, birthdays, etc... I can't remember if the bathrooms are wheelchair friendly... Yeah...sometimes I miss the innocense that being young and naive can bring. read more

This red lobster location is always crowded. So it's understandable that the service would be a little slow. However, I went on a day with a moderate crowd and the service still was extremely slow. I had to walk up to the bar and ask the bartender if there was someone who we could get water from. We were sitting for at least 15minutes without being greeted by anyone. you expect better when you get sit down service. And it's unfortunate that the Bronx location is this inadequate. It only gets two stars because the food wasn't bad read more

If you are going to celebrate a Graduation, Birthday or Mother/Father Day you will be dissapointed. I can't remember the last time I was here. One reason is the food is not as good as it was before when I was young. I remember this place used to be packed full of people waiting to be called - I don't know if it still gets packed like that still. The food is tasteless and the inside is so dimmed...I have no idea if they are trying to cut down their light or what, but it is not fancy. Don't wear eyeglasses yet? Well, you may need some if you stay there too long. Surprisingly no one tries to rob from you while you sitting down in all that darkness. Also, check your table before you sit and make sure their clean. Employee sometimes wait until they call you in and 1 foot away from the table to decide cleaning the table. In all that time, you still standing up and waiting for them to finish. If you come here, do not expect anything fancy..this definitely is not no 5 star restaurant. I'm sure if it's the management's fault or the employees fault. It's close location is still convinient though - that is if you live less then 2 miles away from them. Anymore than 2 miles and I would suggest a better restaurant or a better Red Lobster restaurant. read more

By far the worse dining experience in the Bronx. Most of the service was terrible, long wait, terrible food, and way too many screaming and crying kids. Our drinks finally arrived long after our salads and biscuits and right along with our meal. The platter looked as if it had been sitting under a warming lamp for a long time. The biggest clue was the brown withered tops of what once may have been broccoli. Most of the staff have no concept on what good customer service is or how to provide it. No smiles, no eye contact, and definitely no feeling of your business being appreciated. We did luck out with a very nice server, Leanne. We didn't get to enjoy her for long because we were surrounded by a family with unruly kids(not the restaurants fault). But just a warning, this place seems to fill up with families that have ALOT of children, very loud children, screaming children whose parents don't seem to mind ignoring the chaos their children are causing. So if you want quiet, romantic, or even expect to have a normal enjoyable meal, this is not the place to go. My overall opinion...if you have a car skip the Bronx and drive straight to Yonkers! read more

UMMMMMMMM Okay so no one really needs to make a review on the food at Red Lobsters. Its literally the same where ever you go. I am simply making my review based off of this location. When we first walked in the place had a stench that was otherwise unbearable but my basic 'Food is food - stench is stench' boyfriend still wanted to sit and enjoy some biscuits and freezer burned seafood. The smell was a mix between fish and feet. It literally made my food taste weird. The waiter was not really attentive but when he did come around he was just way to hyper for my liking. It was almost like 'here take this xanax and calm down'. He brought us biscuits first! No utensils, No water, No PLATES, no napkins - just biscuits! OMG then when we went to pay it was like he didn't want to leave the table. I mean it took 20 minutes for me to get Ginger Ale but only 2 seconds for him to snatch the check out of my boyfriends hand. It wasn't horrible, but I have been to better locations where at least if you can taste the smell in the air it tastes like well-cooked seafood and my mama's cheddar biscuits! I mean really, FEET of all things!!! read more

I really wish there was ZERO stars.... They trul sucked! First thing's first I do not eat sea food, I took my wife and mom here so they might be able to enjoy a nice meal.... NOT!!! We waited 45 minutes to sit down, and then we had the most clueless server JAMIE. After another hour and a half sitting down, he comes back to retake the order blaming the kitchen for there mistake. We left the place without ever eating a meal! RED LOBSTER IS UNORGANIZED AND THEY SUCK FOR MAKING PEOPLE WAIT SO LONG! read more

Today for Mother's Day we placed an order at 11am For 5pm pick up. My husband went at 5pm and they said "we are now serving the 12pm orders all others have to wait a few hours." There were about 200 people outside, one security guard. No one was in any shape or form practicing social distancing. The employee came back out and said "we were suppose to have 20 chefs, only 6 showed up to work so you guys have to f***ing wait". After 25 mins my husband left. We called about 15 times before someone answered, at this time is was already 7:20pm and the employee said "I can make your order now I'll call you when it's ready but we close at 8:30pm." At 7:40pm my husband went back to the restaurant for our 5pm order and once again the employee opened the door and this time yelled "all orders are canceled! It's not our fault the chefs didn't arrive to work!" This is ridiculous! Of course it's your fault. We made an order online at 11am for a 5pm pick up! That was more than enough time for them to at least have the courtesy to call and say we can't honor your order. It's Mother's Day and it's an already stressful day because of the quarantine. How dare you treat your customers like that? On top of not controlling the crowd and risk people getting infected. Never again will I eat from this Red Lobster. And I will keep calling until I get my $160 refund!!!! read more

Bar service was the worssssssssssssssst at this location, man. I was just trying to get a lil' app before my meal, and I don't know how anyone in service can wait on someone without ever saying a word or making eye contact. I'm not even asking for a smile here. This place is truly a zoo on Fridays and Saturdays. I'm not sure I've ever seen anything like it. It's really dirty inside, completely packed, and the wait is about 2 hours. I'd be OK with 2 hours if it truly was, but we were told 45mins, which became 1.5 hrs, which in reality was 2 hrs. Can a brutha get the truth (and a clean table to eat on?)? read more

Usually, I take my time to write a decent review but I just can't with this Red Lobster. The service and the experience was appalling. We came for a birthday dinner celebration and ended up having to walk out after an hour wait for any type of service. We literally sat a table (party of 6) waiting for at least water to be served to our table. A member from our group went to flag down a manager or someone to serve us. No one seemed to care. This wasn't the service we were hoping for when we planned a bday dinner. We made the right choice to leave. Our night ended so much better elsewhere. I won't be back to this location. read more

I came here on a Thursday night. The wait was only 5 minutes for a party of two and yes, we got a booth. Our waitress and the hostess were very...dry. I mean seriously...would it kill you to be a little friendly? Especially as a hostess. You're the first face we see. Most of the females in the Bronx already have a bad attitude out on the street, so even when you're getting paid you STILL can't put a smile on your face? C'mon! Our waitress seemed so uninterested in doing her job. Nobody works for a tip anymore, I guess they feel their entitled to more money for average service. She also brought out dessert while we were eating our dish. Yes we ordered it in advance BUT we said, don't bring it out until after. Did she listen? Nope...So my ice-cream was already melting by the time I was done. And the reason we ended up coming over here was for the dessert. It was still good though. She still got a tip though. What annoyed me was that a table next to mine, brought their own cake and the waiters brought the cake back out and then lit it at the table. Why are you all standing at the table taking forever to light the cake? That's a shitty surprise, for that they could've kept the cake at the table and lit it themselves. Had it been me, I would've told them not to bother singing, coming out with an unlit cake that someone bought for me already ruined it guys! I also noticed that the Cajun Chicken Linguine Alfredo and the Shrimp Linguine Alfredo were the same price....*raised brow*..since when? The place looked pretty clean and surprisingly so were the bathrooms. Honestly, they're lucky they have cheddar biscuits.... read more

I'm only giving this restaurant 3 stars because of my server Natasha. She was very patient and helpful even though she forgot about me when it was time to receive and pay my check. As for my experience at Red Lobster, it was pretty lousy and very unorganized. When I arrived at the restaurant, it was pretty empty from what I could see however due to the short staff as I was told by the hostess I still had to wait before I could be seated mind you I went earlier this afternoon so it wasn't crowded at all. Once I was seated I noticed that the area wasn't very clean and there was an annoying fly flying around my seating area. I usually dine at the Red Lobster in Times Square but I ended up going to this location because it's closer to my house and I didn't want to travel too far with my daughter. For what it was worth I should have just gone to City Island instead. read more

Wow, I guess when I went to this Red Lobster yesterday it was a good day. It wasn't as horrific as others are posting but: The waiter was polite and helpful. He came by quickly to take orders - but took a while to bring over the bread basket. We did order drinks and a side glass of water but instead of bringing over the water and bread we waited about 15-20mins for everything to come together. The food arrived about 10 mintues after the bread basket and was hot but looked like it waited to be picked up for about 10minutes. This causes me to think that the food was prepared quickly and the waiter forgot to bring over the drinks and bread until After the food was completed. The food was nothing grand. My mojito was the life of the party being more alcohol than anything. I suppose they liquor you up so that you leave happily drunk and full. I don't think I'll be back to this Red Lobster any time soon. But, if I wanted a place to sit and eat before/after shopping I wouldn't have a problem coming here again. read more

You would think with the litany of lousy reviews the manager would retrain his servers and cooks. But I guess he doesn't care about serving the community because the place is crowded and we in Co -op City are a captive audience. Well this will not last because Bay Plaza is erecting many stores and restaurants along with a Macy's and this management will soon have to double dutch to the new beat. When Red Lobster first opened it was beautiful, but has slowly descended into a slop house. Yes, they still have those cheddar biscuits. But they could be making a much better bottom line if they moved their line along for seating people, for instance. A long line with empty tables? You kidding me? Waiters not bringing napkins and water? Not picking up food at the station until it's almost cold? Over salting and over buttering? Who needs that while the restaurant is wasting salt and butter nobody wants? Waiters wasting time asking the same questions over and over, flitting back and forth? Not giving checks promptly while people want to leave and the wait line backs up? Is the manager here related to the CEO who was recently fired from JC Penney's? Hasn't the manager learned tastes are changing and people are tending away from overly greasy, over salted food? Where you been? Even Paula Deen admits she has diabetes and is overweight. Time R.Lob. Got with the 21st.century. All I can say is me and my friends would like a R.Lob. run with sanity and intelligence and we won't be back until then. And we have gotten to be retirees here and are in Co-op to stay and would love a decent local R.Lob. to take our friends and family visiting us to for a pleasant meal in a clean place. How about cleaning up your act? We are not ghetto. We are educated and classy retired folk. If you don't fix this you will say bye bye to your income soon as the other restaurants open up. Take it or leave it. We in Co- op City are not pigs. read more

I know the Bay plaza isn't the best of places but does red lobster really need an armed security guard? I wanna know what happened that red lobster said lets hey lets get an armed security guard. It was only 2 so there wasn't a wait for a table. After meeting our waiter I ordered a strawberry daiquiri( I never had one before I swear) and my friend ordered a water. They both came pretty quickly(lol) After munching on those amazing biscuits they give I was honestly considering just leaving right then. Of course then I remembered the armed guard and decided that it wasn't the right time for all of that so I went ahead and ordered the admirals feast. I don't remember what exactly it came with but it had a shit ton of random fish to eat. I always spend all night deciding what to eat so giving me alot of choices in one meal always catches me. Everything was pretty good until after we received our food. I would say the waiter went "ghost" but I observed him walking around the place taking orders but he never once came back to us. He never asked my friend or I if we wanted refills or how our dinner was going. After I got tired of waiting I flagged him down to get the check. Then even after receiving the check I couldn't get his attention to even pay the check. I tried walking up to the little POS system they have and they told me wait for my waiter. Never in my life would I have thought people would make it hard for me to give them money. Eventually I managed to catch his attention again so I could pay and bounce. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe he was new or they was understaffed(Armed security guards probably use up a lot of payroll). The waiter was pleasant so I still tipped nice and it wasn't like they were being rude. Its just the whole way that Red Lobster was run just felt like it truly belonged in Bay Plaza. read more

This review is about cheddar biscuits. They're free, delicious and I wish I could eat these every day without consequence. I don't come here because of the atmosphere or the crowd or the cheerful staff. Just the biscuits. Even after the hostess informs me of the 40 min wait just for a table for 2, I take a deep breath and think : cheddar biscuits. Red Lobster is one of my favorite chains. Sometimes you need to indulge in everything dipped in butter seafood with your significant other or a group of friends. Everything in moderation including moderation my friends. There are plenty of non fried items and I usually add veggie sides to make to remove any quilt. Similar to the double cheeseburger & diet coke folks. Portions are huge and pretty decent for the prices. Is it the best seafood you ever had? Probably not. Is it better than most overpriced City Island venues? Definitely. The environment is casual and can be a bit noisy on crowded evenings. Staff will not try to wow you like Joe's Crab Shack. As long as they bring out those cheddar biscuits the moment you sit down, then why you mad??? read more

Terrible delivery experience. I have been a fan of red lobster for a long time. However after tonight I may not be ordering ever again. I had several items missing from my delivery order. I had people in my group that didn't receive all of their food and there was no other option other than to go and pick up our food.
