This is a really nice place to come for a small bite and a drink. It's a really big place with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. When we first arrived we were told we could sit anywhere and since it was hot out we went with an indoor table. We were given menus and then we sat and we sat and we sat with not one person coming over to take our order or simply check to see if we were ready to order. Two other groups that were seated after us had been taken care of quickly. Safe to say this didn't sit so well with us. We ended up having to wave over someone who worked there and he helped us get someone to take our order. A woman by the name of Sunshine came over and apologized for the inconvenience and took our order. She was so nice and made sure we got our food and she also checked on us frequently to make sure we didn't need or want anything else. We appreciated that given the fact that this place kept getting crowded as time passed. We ordered calamari and deviled eggs with crab. The deviled eggs were delicious!! We also ordered a frozen sangria and a frozen painkiller both were really good and not overly strong. Even though things started a little sour Sunshine made sure to turn things around and we ended up having a great time listening to live music and enjoying everything we ordered. I'm looking forward to returning and trying other things on their menu.

Huge space and lots of seating inside and outside. Great views as well. The cider was yummy but the flight was so expensive. I wish you could choose your own for each category but they choose for you. Was insanely crowded on a Saturday afternoon and the line to order was crazy long.

Is it a winery or cidery? They are a bit high on life with some of their prices. Only stayed for one drink. Enjoyed a view of Laby Lib from outside. Can catch the ferry back to Manhattan.

5 stars for building and location. We didn't try the food yet. The ciders were good but pricey as a flight of 4 pours of ciders was $35. This is an amazing venue with water views and the Statue of Liberty and the skyline of New York City and beautiful historical buildings with gigantic barn doors for example. This neighborhood in red Hook is a place that you can walk around and be amazed by what you see from cobblestone grounds to old historical building right on the water. This cidery has sliders from New York and you can get a flight of outsiders as well as a hot apple cider with bourbon for example. There is three Wi-Fi, but no charging stations. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and you can see cruises and speedboats and different types of ships going through while you're drinking your cider because the view is absolutely amazing from inside the side. There are so many big spaces here and two pianos where you can have private events. The distillery, the cidery, and And the winery are all owned by the same company. Enjoy trying all of them. Parking is on the street.

Small menu, great appetizers and amazing view of the Statue of Liberty. There are a bunch of chairs to sit on outside and it's great for very large groups of people. This is a stop you would make on a first date after dinner to just talk drink and relax.

Love the ambience outdoors and the flavored ciders!…read more Flights are a super reasonable price. Some hits for me were the jersey peach, blood orange mimosa, mango berry, pear, and I forget what else. I love that they rotate flavors around! It gets pretty crowded on weekends so to snatch a table you have to go near opening or bring your own chairs or mat to sit on the lawn. It's also kid friendly. There is cornhole and a connect 4. Wish there were just a few more things for the little ones to stay occupied! Lastly, there's one food truck there each day that rotates. Lines can be long, I feel like you should recruit TWO food trucks for weekends!

I ordered a flight with the Blackberry Currant, Lavender, Blueberry, and Cherry ciders, and wow... every single one was incredible. They were flavorful, refreshing, and completely changed my opinion on cider. The atmosphere is awesome, too. They have indoor seating, plus a huge outdoor space where you can bring your own chairs or blankets. There are lawn games, and they host rotating food pop-ups. When we visited, it was a pizza vendor. The only downside was that our pizza was cold. It was still delicious, so it didn't take away from the overall experience. We even grabbed some cider to go so we could enjoy it at home. I already can't wait to come back, try the rest of the flavors, and see what other food trucks pop up next!

The atmosphere is amazing both inside and outside. Inside has a beautiful rustic-chic feel, plus a cute little market at the front. Outside is just as special, with plenty of space to hang out, live music, fire pits, and such a fun, relaxed atmosphere. You can order drinks outside, and they also offer a smaller, convenient outdoor food menu. The food in the restaurant is outstanding. The dine-in menu might seem somewhat limited at first, but I've genuinely never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. The chicken I ordered was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. The presentation of everything is beautiful. They also have gluten-free options, which I really appreciate. I haven't tried the outdoor food menu yet, but I definitely hope to! The service has also consistently been great. The staff are always so warm and welcoming and really add to the experience. Whether you're looking for a cozy winter outing, a beautiful summer afternoon outside, or especially a festive fall day with cider, good food, live music, and fire pits, Ironbound is such a great spot.
